Specs:

  • E-track fitting dimensions: 3-1/8" long x 1-5/8" wide
    • Carabiner attachment hole diameter: 1/2"
  • Carabiner dimensions: 2-3/8" long x 1-3/16" wide x 1/4" thick
  • Maximum load (break strength): 1,200 lbs
  • Safe working load limit (WLL): 400 lbs

Note: Tie-down anchors must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the anchors being used. For example, if you are using anchors with a WLL of 100 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 400 lbs, then you need at least 4 anchors to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use anchors in pairs.

Video Transcript for In-Depth Review of the Snap-Loc E Track Fitting with Carabiner Clip

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Snap-Loc E-Track fitting with the carabiner clip. This has a 300 pound weight capacity. The part number is SLAEASCI. Our E-Track connector with carabiner are perfect for taking care of those light duty cargo control situations. It's got that 300 pound capacity so plenty for a lot of items we're going to have in our cargo carrier, the appliances, the furniture, antiques, things like that. Really nice, simple system here.

You can see all of our parts are going to be coated to help with that corrosion resistance. Basically we're just going to pull out on that lever located on the top. That's going to allow us to slide it up onto our track, tip it in. Then we'll just allow it to come down until that lever clicks into position. That's going to indicate to us that it's nice and secure. It's really easy to move this up and down to whatever height or whatever position that you choose.

If we've got shorter item we'll put it down at the bottom. Larger items, we can move it up to the top and really customize our cargo control systems here. Now we've already got one here on the other side of the box. Just want to show you quickly how these are going to work to secure. We'll make that connection, bring it right around here, connect in there carabiner, and then just pull it tight to secure whatever cargo it is that we need to keep up and off the floor are nice and secure. Another great thing, the carbiner, fully removable. It's going to allow us to connect it on to like we've got here, just a pair of wheel chocks or maybe helmets or anything else we want to secure up, keep tidy, that carabiner will do a great job.

Now that we've seen how it works, that will complete today's look at the Snap-Loc E-Track connector with the carabiner, part number SLAEASCI. .
