Complete trailer security made simple. Two keyed-alike locks and a case keep your gear together. One key fits both, so you spend less time fumbling with keys and more time on the road doing what you came to do.
This kit includes a long-span hitch receiver lock for wide 2" and 2-1/2" factory hitches, plus a high-visibility yellow coupler lock for 1-7/8" and 2" ball couplers. Both use the same key, so you're not fumbling through a key ring or guessing which one fits. The bright color stands out as a clear theft deterrent and makes it easy to see your trailer is locked.
The case keeps every lock and key in one place so you're not digging through the truck or leaving a piece behind. It fits easily in the cab, toolbox, or bed and keeps all your gear in one spot. When it's time to hitch up or park for the night, everything's right where it should be.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this etrailer lock set. Now this kit does include a hitch receiver lock and this high visibility yellow coupler lock for your 1 7/8 inch and two inch ball couplers. Both use the same key so you're not gonna have to worry about which key does what. One key's gonna run the show here. And I just want to take a look at this coupler here first.
I'm gonna take one of the keys here and I'm gonna turn that key, and that's going to drop this pin, and that's going to allow me to slide a coupler through there. So I have one. And as you can, I just wanted to show you how easy this was gonna be to use. So this is a two inch ball coupler, and so I just slid that on and then I'm going to push this pin up and turn the key, just like that. So that locks that pin into place.
And so as you can see, that coupler's gonna stay locked. And then when you're ready to unlock, just again insert the key in, give it a turn, that pin will drop, and then you can just easily slide that off, just like that. So again, this is going to work for your 1 7/8 inch and two inch ball couplers. The maximum coupler width, including the lip, should be 3 3/4 inches, and the maximum lip thickness is gonna be 5/16 inch. And as I mentioned, this is going to be bright yellow.
So that finish is not only visible, but it's going to protect that from rusts and corrosion. And your coupler must have a flat bottom lip for this to work for you. Now switching over to the receiver lock here, this is going to work for your two inch and 2 1/2 inch trailer hitch receivers. So again, you're just going to take one of the keys here. And for this to open this, you're just going to turn this counterclockwise, like your loosening a bolt or a screw.
And that's going to allow you to easily remove this. And then when you're ready to lock this into place, you'll replace the lock here. And then you're just going to tighten it. So reverse the operation, turn this clockwise, like you're tightening the bolt. Once it's tight enough, you'll just remove the key and then replace the cap here. That's gonna protect that key away from debris, moisture, things like that. So it'll keep it nice and clean. Now this, let me get my ruler here actually just to go over some measurements with you. The overall length, we are sitting right at 6 7/8 inches. The inside pin length or the span inside the inside about, looks like 3 5/8 inches. And the pin diameter is gonna be 5/8 inch. This is plated in chrome. And again, this will work for your two inch and 2 1/2 inch trailer hitch receivers. And then we've got this great hard shell case that's designed to house each of these components here. So there's a spot for each one. So I'm just gonna drop a in, and then our hitch receiver lock and then the keys. So place for everything. And then close it, snap it shut, then we're good to go. So this is going to do a great job of protecting the components and keeping everything in one spot so it's not gonna be flopping around or flying around in your trunk or the back of your truck. So if you happen to have any other questions, whether it's about this kit or anything else that we carry, don't hesitate to reach out. We wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need.
