Troubleshooting Steering Wheel That Doesn't Return to Center Around Sharp Turns When Flat Towed

Question:

Sometimes when I flat tow my 2003 Jeep Liberty and make a turn the steer wheels get stuck in the direction of turn. I have to stop and start the vehicle and straighten the wheels out to continue down the road. Any ideas? Thank you!

Sounds like your tow bar may not be sitting perfectly level. If I had to guess it sounds like the tow bar is angled forward and that is causing the wheels to get stuck turned to one side.

I attached a help article on how to pick out the correct high low adapter to allow the tow bar to be level as well as a link to a page that has all of the ones we carry.
