Question:
am in the process of wiring a Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller to my 2004 Frontier. This was the year they did not supply a plug and play connection in the vehicle. The vehicle came with an after market Draw Tight Hitch and a working 7 pin connector. Is there any wiring diagrams or videos to install the brake controller out there? FYO I will be pulling a 1970 Globe Trotter with the vehicle that has a working 7 pin connector. Thanks,

The 7-way connection at the rear of the vehicle is most likely not factory installed, you will have to trace the brake feed wire forward or use Universal Brake Control Wiring Kit for 2-8 Brakes # 5506 to complete installation. I have included a link on brake controller wiring from scratch also. If your trailer requires the 12-volt accessory circuit, you will also need a 40 amp inline circuit breaker, part # 9510. The white wire in the duplex cable would carry the brake output voltage, and the black wire would carry the 12-volt accessory circuit.
I have included two videos that show installation and the instructions for the Prodigy brake controller. I have also provided a wiring schematic that should be helpful.
