Stretchable Cargo Net Recommendation for a 6x10 Trailer and a Chevy Avalanche

Updated 06/25/2014 | Published 06/24/2014

Question:

I have a 6 X 10 foot utility trailer with 2 foot high sides that I use mainly for furniture moving in which many pieces will definitely exceed the 2foot side walls but not a dangerous level. Depending on weather, I may use a tarp in which case the tie down net will be put over it to prevent possible weather issues and secure the cargo. Would this be a good size to get for the trailer. Also, I tow with a Chevy Avalanche and would probably do the same for its capacity. Is this item too big and not adjustable enough for the smaller size? Many thanks.

If the cargo will only slightly go above the sides of trailer I would recommend you go with a Cargo Net part # EM01012 instead. If the cargo would go above the rails a decent amount I would recommend the part # EM01015.

The # EM01012 has unstretched dimensions of 72" wide x 96" long. This may be a better size for your Avalanche as well.

If you plan on transporting various amounts of cargo you may be just better off getting both sizes.
