Question:

Hello, I want to purchase the model 75699 for my 2015 Jeep GC. What do I do for the plug wiring harness? I see a plug dangling by my bumper from the factory on the vehicle. What do I need to attach to the hitch for the lights? Thank you! Dave C.

Hi Dave; the answer to your question depends on the plug you're looking at. More than likely it is a round plug like the one seen below so all you need is the # HM40975. If it is a rectangular plug that matches the other picture below you need the # PK11933 and # HM40975. It is also worth noting that you may have to take it to the dealer to activate the tow package circuit.

Hey Dave, how did things go with the wiring on your Jeep after adding the Draw-Tite hitch? Did the connector and adapter setup work out once you had the tow package circuit activated? Your update could make it easier for others working on the same wiring.

@RobinH Hello Robin! Yes, all the parts you suggested for my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee worked out and installed nicely. Your advice on the most likely need to activate the trailer circuit was very helpful. I had the dealer activate the circuit and everything is working out great! Thank you for your support!
