The Erickson 72-inch x 96-inch Cargo Net for Pickups, part # EM01015, features a bungee-cord construction intended to hold down lightweight items. It is not specifically rated for any particular weight load as it is intended to hold items down, but not to suspend them. It is not intended to support the weight of cargo or a person.
The individual squares measure roughly 4 x 5 inches when not under tension (as when removed from the packaging) and when under tension (stretched to a degree that we would consider tight) the squares measure roughly 7 x 8 inches. Note that the size expansion of the individual squares may not be completely uniform across the entire surface of the net and will be affected to a degree by the shape of the item(s) being secured.
The overall dimensions of the net when relaxed are 72-inches x 96-inches; when stretched to its maximum safe size (75 percent more than its relaxed size) it will measure approximately 126 x 168 inches.
