What Konig Snow Tire Chain Do You Recommend For My 2021 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid XSE With 225/60R 18 Tires

Question:

I have a 2021 Toyota RAV4 XSE Hybrid with 225/60R18 tires. Im looking at your snow chain options including: 1. TH01594245 - 12mm clearance 2. TH01571245 - 16mm clearance, not S compatible I do not see that the Toyota manual specifies S compatible but wondering if you knew if either one of these would work or if I should go with the lower clearance option. Even though the owner's manual of your 2021 Toyota RAV4 XSWE Hybrid says you do not have to use Class S compatible snow chains, I would stick with the Konig Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - D Link - XG12 Pro - Size 245, part # TH01594245. The Class S snow chains are designed to fit wheel wells with tight tolerances. I did see, in your owner's manual, that you cannot use the LTA system when you have these snow chains installed on your tires. So at the very least, when snow chains are installed, there may be some interference with some of your safety systems. I would rather be safe than sorry.
