Question:

Id like to see mounting instructions in some detail or a video of how this mounts to a 1998 Chevy 2500 long bed reg cab piclup. Could you please send me a link? I cant tell how mmuch of the old OEM hardware to remove. This bumper is a good bit wider where it mounts than the factory bumper

I have an answer for you. Unfortunately, confirmed with Westin that the Custom Installation Kit for Westin Diamondstep Bumpers # 97800 are only customized to fit 1987-1996 Dodge Dakotas. However, with that being said, we do offer mounting hardware customized for your 1998 Chevy 2500 (long bed/regular cab) that will fit the Westin Diamonstep Bumper models for your vehicle. For the hardware, you need the Installation Kit for Westin Diamondstep, Surestep and Surestep Deluxe XLT Bumpers # 92230. Even though we do not have an installation video of this hardware, I went ahead and attached a video that shows the different parts of the hardware pack. In addition, I attached the installation instructions for your vehicle to this answer.

If you need the Fey Diamonstep Bumpers for your vehicle, you will need either # 20009 (for black) or # 20008 (for silver). Both of these bumpers do not come with the installation hardware mentioned previously.
