Question:
Your draw-tite class 3 maxframe receiver hitch for the 2012 Dodge Caravan. I want to get a motorcycle carrier to use with this hitch. The motorcycle weighs 370lbs, will the tongue weight of this product be exceeded and not safe to use for this configuration? Thanks in advance!

For your Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75579 is rated for a tongue weight of 400 lbs. The motorcycle weight of 370 lbs will not work with this hitch because the lightest carrier # e98873 weighs just at 58 lbs which puts you over the max capacity.
My recommendation is to use this hitch along with the Detail K2 Mighty Multi Utility Trailer - 6' Long - 1,295 lbs # K2MMT4X6 with your bike at a diagonal. I also recommend using tie-downs like the Erickson Ratchet Tie-Down Straps w/ Web Clamps and S-Hooks - 1-1/4" x 12' - 667 lbs - Qty 2 # EM31353 along with Motorcycle Soft Loops # 06303.
For a ball mount, I recommend the etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
