For your 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA 250, I recommend the Curt Class II Receiver Hitch # C12163. This Class II hitch is confirmed to fit your vehicle and will provide you with a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening and a tongue weight capacity of 350 pounds. Because the hitch is custom-fit for your Mercedes, you will not need to do any drilling, just keep in mind that the exhaust will need to be temporarily lowered during installation.

Please also note that Curt requires that all non-trailer loads, such as a bike rack, be supported by a stabilizing strap # 18050. This is an excellent, platform-style carrier that will secure 2 bikes of up to 40 pounds each.
