Equipment, livestock, commercial, and other heavy trailers can put enough weight on a landing leg to make manual operation a chore. This jack gives you 8,000 lbs of lifting and support capacity with 20" of powered movement, letting your trailer's hydraulic system handle the work.
The square-tube body is designed for a permanent direct-weld installation on the trailer frame. At the ground, the 6" x 7-3/4" pivoting foot follows changes in the surface to maintain a broad contact point as the trailer moves.
This jack does not include its own pump. Its double-acting cylinder connects to a separate hydraulic power unit through #6 JIC fittings, with hydraulic pressure powering both extension and retraction. The extension circuit is rated for up to 3,200 psi, while retraction is rated for up to 1,500 psi.
Hydraulic hoses, the power unit, and controls are not included, giving you the flexibility to build the system around your trailer. If the same HPU also operates a dump hoist, use a hydraulic diverter to direct flow between the jack and hoist.
There is no manual override built into the jack itself. If you want a backup for electrical power loss, that capability needs to come from the hydraulic power unit and control setup you pair with it.
This jack can also be used as part of a tandem landing-gear setup. When two jacks share one hydraulic power unit, a flow divider is strongly recommended to distribute hydraulic flow between the legs and help them operate together more consistently.
The jack measures approximately 32-1/2" retracted and 52-1/2" extended, so check the available mounting area and ground clearance before welding it permanently to the trailer.

Hi everyone, Steve here with etrailer. Let's take a look at our very own etrailer hydraulic trailer jack. This is a square tube design. It's a direct weld-on application rated at 8,000 pounds. So folks, if you don't know already, hydraulic power is gonna do the work for you. You're not gonna have to worry about worn out gears and raising heavy tongue on your trailer.
If you go to hydraulic, it's gonna work with an existing hydraulic setup and this will tie into an external pump that you should already have on that trailer, such as a dump trailer, construction trailer, and the agricultural, those kind of things. And this is gonna give you dependable lifting. 8,000 pounds capacity, can handle big, big trailers, commercial trailer loads, those kind of things. You got your hydraulic hose connections here and here and pretty much other than that, it's not much to it other than it's gonna go up and down. You have a foot plate here that can pivot left and right.
You get a pin in there at the bottom that you can take that off as well. That foot plate measures seven and 3/4 inches long by six inches wide. And as far as the travel distance from the jack, you got 20 inches of travel up or down. Fully retracted like it is right now, I got 32 and 1/2 inches tall and when I raise it all the way up, it's gonna become 52 and 1/2 inches tall overall. And of course you can see it's got a nice black powder coat finish.
So it's gonna hold up to weather, gravel, job site abuse, mud, snow, road grime, those kind of things. And again, this is gonna need to be attached via weld on.
