Video Transcript for Review of Vitrifrigo RV Refrigerators - Slim Black RV Refrigerator With Freezer - VT46FR

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Vitrifrigo black RV refrigerator with freezer. Now, not every RV has space for a wide-body fridge. This slim Vitrifrigo model is made to fit narrow layouts without sacrificing everyday function. This does feature 4.9 cubic feet of vertical storage.

So, this is gonna be great for something like your van build, trailers and and tighter RV kitchens. This fridge will run on AC or DC power. This is our external compressor, as you can see here. So, this is going to be just as comfortable off-grid as it is at the campground. Let's go with some measurements before we go any further here.

(tape snapping) So, I do have this on a floor dolly. It's going to be, it's going to look taller in my video with me than it's going to be in-person and that's gonna give me the ability to turn this around to show you all the sides. But just measuring the height of the fridge, not including our compressor, we're sitting pretty close to 59 and a half inches. The overall width about 16 and a half inches. The overall depth, (tape snapping) and I'm including our handles here, about 18 and a half inches.

So, hopefully that'll give you enough measurements, so you can be confident in knowing whether or not this will work for you. Lemme see if I can give a quick spin around here real quick, just so you can see. So, we do also have this in a gray model. I really like the gray finish that Vitrifrigo has. So, let me give you a slightly closer look here from a different angle. Now, this does feature their snap-lock system. So, you're gonna be able to close this (door slams) and then it's going to stay closed. You're not gonna have to worry about the doors accidentally opening when you're going down the road because it's going to be nice and secured with that snap-lock system. And then you're also going to be able to vent this when it's not in use. So, you're not gonna have to worry about musty, moldy smells or issues or anything like that. So, right here, I know that's probably hard for you to see. We have our control panel here, but we also have a manual switch here (switch snapping) that will allow me to lock the door ajar. So, I just need (switch snapping) to line that up there. And so, having that down that's going to allow me to keep that ajar. And if you can see, lemme turn this around here real quick, that's going to hold that ajar. So, I'm not gonna have to, again, I'm not gonna have to worry about those musty odors. Lemme see am I catching there I have that down all the way. There we go. So again, that's nice because during the off-season you're not gonna have to worry about this potentially getting stinky inside. (door closing) And now with that lever up, it's going to allow me to close that all the way. So, great little feature. Vitrifrigo is known for having that feature on many, if not all of their fridges. They've had 'em on all that I've seen, thus far. So, you do have your standard fridge, I have the instructions here and inside is going to be our separate freezer compartment. And you get a very small mini-ice tray if you can see that. (tray knocking) So, this'll be great for me, my pizza rolls, maybe a small container of ice cream or frozen treats, maybe some ice packs, things like that. (inhales) The shelves are adjustable and they do kind of secure there in the front and just kind of drops into place. And then we do have shelves here on the inside of the door for condiments. They are adjustable as well. And then our bottom one here has this metal ring or bar there to help with taller items so they're not tipping out when you open up the door. So, again, 4.9 cubic feet. Our freezer is 0.8 cubic feet. (door closing) And then I wanted to show you the drawer at the bottom. See this is really trying to make the most of the slim vertical space there. So, the drawer is also refrigerated. And I wanted to show you that it actually just, it's the same area here as the fridge, if you can see my hand there. So, it's just the whole area here is refrigerated (door closing) and then the bottom portion is the drawer. Now, I'm going to line this back up here again, try not to make you dizzy here. I want to give you an overhead view just to show you what it looks like inside of that drawer. So, it's deep storage, maybe you could put some vegetables in there, taller bottles, things like that. The divider here is adjustable as well, so it'll hold things a little more firmly, securely in place. (drawer closes) Then it's got that snap-lock system, so it's gonna hold really well for you. We do have an external control panel for all of the functions. It does illuminate inside. I failed to mention that. So, you're gonna be able to have a clear view of everything that you have going on inside. During low light or dark conditions, you'll be able to see enough to get your midnight snack. And so, this does have several different modes. It has a power-saving mode, rapid-cooling mode. The the night-mode is going to lower the noise and energy use while while you sleep. It's gonna keep your cabin nice and calm. That turbo-mode rather is going to kick in after you've loaded up the fridge. And that's going to bring that temperature back down fast, so your groceries and everything stay nice and cool. So, everything's gonna be adjustable there.
