Video Transcript for A Closer Look at the Snap-Loc Galvanized Steel Horizontal and Vertical E Track

Hi, Matt with etrailer. If you're looking to enhance your DIY projects and make things a little bit easier, then Snap-Loc's E-tracks are gonna be a great addition to your setup. So let's check 'em out. And you probably already noticed that the one that I have in my hand is gonna look quite a bit different from the one on the wall right here. That's because you can get these in different lengths. So you have a lot of different option when it comes to setup because everyone's space is gonna look a little bit different.

So whether you're putting it in your trailer like we are right now, you got it in your work vehicle or in your garage, you can make this work. And some of those setups are how you can use it is like we have right here. If you're someone just trying to organize their garage a little bit, you can put your stuff in one location to make it look a little bit more neat and organized, which is much better than having it on the ground, tripping over it. And on top of that, you don't have to spend a half-hour looking for anything that you've placed down last time. Or on the flip side of things, if you have it in your trailer like we have with this generator right here, you can actually use it as a tie-down point.

And this does a really good job at this, whether you have any smaller items like these generators or going up to ATVs, these things are gonna be pretty sturdy. But the cool thing about this is you can flip it so you don't have to stay locked into any choice. These points that we have on the ground, you can use them to hold any type of items in place. Or any things on the wall, you can use those as tie-down points too. So let me get our tool right outta the way.

You're gonna notice the orientation I have in right now. You're actually gonna have two options for that. You can either put it vertically or horizontally. And what I like about these compared to other E-Tracks out there are how actually tracks are designed. So you're gonna have two that are gonna be horizontal and two that are vertical.

So even if you have to set this up in a weird way and some of your items only work horizontally, you're gonna have those other points that will work vertically for those other accessories. And speaking of putting things in here, I will say this is not gonna come with any type of clamp, so you will have to get those from somewhere else. We have plenty of options here on our website that Snap-Loc makes. Or what's really neat about this is you can mix and match from other brands out there 'cause most of them will work with this. Like this one I have right here. And putting anything in here works fairly nice. You are gonna get a little bit of wiggle. But when I compare that to other brands too, like the one I have right next to me, I still get the same amount of wiggle. So if I we inchesre to compare it to other brands out there, it's gonna work just as well. I'd just like it a little bit more since we have more types of mounting options. Let's come over here to our generator so we can talk about the durability of these 'cause these things are gonna be pretty solid. So they're gonna have a working load limit of 1,467 pounds and a break limit of 4,400 pounds. , that capacity is gonna be per fitting, so that's gonna be pretty serious, especially when you do have the ATV back here and you are using a couple of straps to hold that into place. That's gonna be pretty solid. And something that I do like about this is when we are strapping something down, we typically want to keep this strap as straight as possible. We don't want it twisting too much. With this type of design, since these fittings face different directions, we can actually match it up with the gear to keep everything nice and straight. But in my opinion, I think this can be a great addition to any of your DIY projects. To me, this just opens up a lot more opportunities since we do have these different styles of mounting it either horizontal or vertical compared to a lot of other options I've seen around. And since it is already compatible with all those different types of hooks, clamps, whatever it be, I think that just makes it really easy to use. Now, today I only talked about a couple different ways you can use these for like putting up any of your tools or for strapping down a load, whatever it be. But you can do a lot more than that.
