Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the Caliber Trailblazer ORV Tie Down kit. So folks, these are what's called L track. And if you've never used it before, they're lightweight. This is aluminum.
The bottom is a nice zinc-plated steel construction, and the hardware comes with this stainless steel. So, everything here is gonna be very, very powerful against corrosion. And basically you have a tie-down point here. Once you've got these installed on your trailer, it's gonna give you a tie-down point just like you see there in the image where you can hook to on your straps. Again, those straps sold separately.
So, basically the idea is you're gonna have to drill some holes in your trailer decking obviously. But this would sandwich over the top, and then from the bottom, and give you a nice tight hold onto your trailer. And this L track anchor is very easy to use. You simply pull up here and then you can either slide these out sideways or just pop them out. So, if you've used eTrack and those kinda things, it's the same concept.
You got a spring-loaded keeper right here. You can line it up wherever you want it and then pull that up. And then it'll pop and lock into place once you slide it back far enough. So, then lock in. And then if you wanna take it all the way out, like I said, just simply pull it back out by using the pull spring or pull lever mechanism.
So again, very easy to use and operate. I'm gonna take this one off and leave it off just so you can kind of see the anchor itself. (metal clinking) And then again, these are great when you're tying down stuff, just like you saw in the image where maybe you wanna keep your trailer as flat as possible and keep the decking as open as possible when you're not using them, you can simply pop them out, and then you would be able to drive up and over just the base itself whenever you're unloading or loading. So, it's very nice. These are about six inches long overall as far as the track length. And again folks, these are built to last. Rate at 3,300 pounds capacity. That's gonna wrap up our quick look together. I'm Steven. Reach out if you have any further questions about this or any other product, and have a great day.
