Hi everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at our Hike Crew gas camping oven. Folks, this is pretty neat. It's 16,000 BTUs of power. You're getting two burners on top, of course the oven.
And you're even gonna get a nice large carrying bag that the whole oven will fit into that you can carry when you're not using it. And I'll go ahead and throw that in there at the end of our video. I'm gonna set that outta the way for now. So real quick, this again is gonna give you the two burners up here on the top. Flexible cooking options for outdoors.
Very easy to ignite. Obviously, I don't have any gas hooks up to it. Runs on propane. Simply turn it on, push the little Piezo igniters right here, and you're good to go. With the oven, turn it until you hear it.
It'll ignite that way. And then you got your temperature gauge, you can open it. You got two removable racks. Now these racks are at a preset height. You cannot change the height of 'em, but you could take the top one out and just use the bottom one.
And while I've got this out, I do want to get you a measurement on one of these just so you kind of know what you're working with here space-wise. So right at about 13 and a half inches it looks like side to side. And then usable space, right about eight and seven-eighths inches deep. So from front of the oven back about eight and seven-eighth inches deep back there. Now it does have venting all the way through it on all sides and everything as well. Just keep in mind, this is designed obviously for camping, boondocking and whatnot. So you're gonna be limited to the size and what all you can put in there obviously. You got your propane hookup. It's gonna go to your regular propane tanks, just like on your barbecue pits and your camping RVs, campers, those kind of things as well. And as you can see, that's the vent. It's wide open in the back of the oven. That way airflow and stuff can go through there. As far as the top and the sides, if you've never seen these before or a camping stove, it's really the same concept as a camping stove. You got your air guards on the left, right, and the door. You can simply fold this in. Same thing with the other side and then fold it down. And then on the side of this one, lemme see if we can zoom in here and show you a little better. These are where your handles are gonna be from picking it up. But these are your latches. You have some really tight and really heavy duty latches. Some of the stoves and ovens I've used in the past, these we inchesre kind of chintzy, if you will. And these get nice and tight and they hold fast. Same thing with the oven door. It doesn't rattle or anything, which I was pretty impressed with. So when you're packing up, obviously you would undo your propane hose. You're gonna be tightening that with a wrench by the way. I just have a hand tight today for demo. You could then, after everything's cooled down obviously, throw your hose inside the oven if you so choose. Or maybe in a compartment in the bag or something of that nature. And now we've got the oven ready for moving around, packing up. Pretty lightweight. Bottom's just that silver color. And it has a nice red finish on the outside. So again, everything here, the burners are rated 16,000 BTUs. The oven is 3,800 BTU. As far as some dimensions, 19 and five-16th inches tall. I'm sorry, 17 and seven-eighth inches tall, 19 and five-16th inches long from the front. And then a depth sideways, 13 and three-eighth inches. So I mentioned that carrying bag before and I wanna go ahead and end with that. Now, I'll be honest, this is my first time putting this in the carrying bag. So I like to do some of this stuff for the first time for you as well, just so you can kind of see with me. Is it hard, is it easy, does it fit Those kind of things. And this particular one looks pretty simple. And I'm sorry, let me go ahead and zoom out here so you can see this better. Okay, so I've got it kind of started in the bag. I'm just gonna kinda walk around it carefully. There we go. And move my turntable a little bit. So I'm gonna gently pick up and just try to get it in there. There we go. That worked a little better. Okay. And then from here, cover comes down, there's two zippers, one on each side, so I can zip simultaneously if I want. And then of course I've got two handles here. There's some hook and loop here in the middle, and there's some padding on this handle. Now I can carry it that way or I can choose to use the shoulder option. And this is adjustable. You got adjustment here and one on this other side. And I'm six foot two and I'm on the heftier size, obviously. So I'm gonna need this a little bit taller for me. But now you can put this on your shoulder, I can walk away, go put it in storage, or I can just carry it by the handle and put it where I need to go as well.
