If you back into a parking spot or try to merge in city traffic, you might hold your breath and hope nothing was hiding out of sight. This system gives you a 360º view and sensors, so you can see every angle, get alerts, and park your rig safely.
Driving a big RV or box truck means always wondering what might be hiding out of sight. There might be bikes behind you, cars sneaking up next to you, or an object in your blind spot while you're trying to park. This system surrounds your rig with four HD cameras, stitching their feeds together into a seamless 360º bird's-eye view. You'll see a true overhead image, plus selectable views for each camera, all in real time. It even has triggers that activate when you use your turn signal (side view) or go in reverse (rear view). The cameras show helpful parking lines right on the screen, making tight maneuvers easier. And in low-light, the cameras give you a clear, detailed picture.
No more squinting at a tiny screen or flipping through confusing menus. The system comes with a 9.1" touchscreen monitor that mounts right on your dash. A row of touchscreen icons lets you tap to choose any camera view, or even show multiple views at once. Theres also a wireless control dial you can mount wherever its handy, so you can switch views without reaching for the screen.
The built-in DVR records all four camera feeds with 16 GB of internal memory, which is about 20 hours of video before it overwrites the oldest footage. Every drive, every maneuver, and every angle is automatically saved, so you always have video evidence if you ever need to review an incident or back up your story. You can play back recordings on the monitor, or export them to a USB drive for easy review on a computer.
Maneuvering a big vehicle is never easy. You have to make every little bit count at tight campsites and narrow parking spaces. This system adds six ultrasonic parking sensors, giving you audible warnings when you get close to posts, curbs, or anything hidden below your mirrors. As you pull in or back out, the sensors call out obstacles you'd otherwise miss, making it easier to avoid expensive surprises.
You'll have to mount four cameras to your vehicle and drill holes for the six parking sensors in the bumper. The cameras and sensors connect to the dash-mounted touchscreen monitor using the included wiring harness. And the power, ground, and trigger wires need to be connected to your vehicle. If you're not comfortable with this process, a professional installation is recommended.
