Erickson Big Bed Junior Load Extender for Truck Bed or Roof - 2" Hitches - 350 lbs
Product worked as advertised and as expected. See photos - the only way to haul 16' lumber in the 5 1/2 foot bed of an F150. My only complaint was the limited height adjustment. I have a Decked drawer storage system in the back of my truck so the cross bar was too low on its highest setting. As shown in the photos, I had to add an 8 inch riser to get up to the level of the bed. But it was easy and worked well with this new part. Be careful on steep driveways so that the hitch extension does not scrape. Good product - worth the cost.
I use the bed extender several times a week, and this thing is stout! I got it to help load and unload my Solo Skiff. I am able to stand on the lower hitch part and rest the Solo on it. I also use it as a step into the hed of my truck, 3500 GMC. I love this product.

Rhino-Rack T-Load Hitch Mounted Load Assist and Support Bar for 2" Hitches - 49" Long
The Rhino Rack Load Assist looks like it will satisfy my need completely. I have an inflatable dinghy, which weighs the same as a kayak. The Load Assist will help me place the dinghy on the roof racks of my Toyota Highlander! The packaging was well worn when the product arrived at my home but the double packaging by etrailer.com ensured all parts arrived safely.
Use this rack to carry lumber. I adjusted it to the same height as my two built in roof racks so that the weight of long boards is evenly distributed. Have carried up to 20 foot long boards and stacks of 4X8 plywood 3 inches thick. Very happy with this rack.

Erickson Big Bed Load Extender for 2" Hitches - 400 lbs
Wow, that truck bed extension really works! You may use this photo for publicity. I drove from Minneapolis to remote Minnesota to my off grid place...about 6 hours with no issues whatsoever! When we went to pick up the trusses at Menards, the guy doing the loading said "no way" can you get that in your truck!! Guess he was wrong
Decent unit for the price. There is a little bit of play in the vertical bar so I just slip a washer in between the bar and the tabs when I put the pin it.

Yakima LongArm Truck Bed Load Extender - 2" Hitches - Aluminum - 300 lbs
It gets the job done from the house to the river. Yes it wobbles, less with the kayak's weight strapped down. We are using it for hauling a kayak with the cars hatch lid open and the kayak extending out the rear. In the fully upright and extended arm position one could run the kayak overhead on the Crosstrek roof rack and have additional length supported off the back. This is very light weight and easy to use.
Don’t need a pickup or trailer !!

Curt Universal Truck Bed Extender with Fold-Down Tailgate
This thing has a lot of adjustments to fit any full size truck, that being said, it takes time to make it fit properly. It took me 3 tries to get the attachment points properly fitted. I watched etrailers videos and if that guy had bothered to put it together right, the video would have shown a lot sturdier and solid product and his review probably would’ve been a lot better.
The Curt bed extender was simple to install, and remove and store when not needed. It is rock solid and can be used as a tie-down point when securing cargo. I like the coverage of this bed extender and relied on etrailer videos before I purchased it. The pin that fits in the V-opening, and the latch that locks into the truck bed tailgate latch are flexible and can be installed in many different positions. The key is to find the positions that enable the extender tailgate to fit. The etrailer staff helped me try several positions before finding one that worked. I like this extender because it is solid when installed, and simple to remove and store. I only need it when we are hauling stuff. When not in use it stores flat in the barn or under my toolbox in the truck bed.

Malone Axis Truck Bed and Roof Load Extender for 2" Hitches - 375 lbs
This extender works great for a kayak and also for hauling lumber.
I bought this to haul long boards in my Nissan Armada. I have used it numerous times in the first year. Definitely an excellent purchase!

Yakima LongArm Bed and Roof Load Extender for 2" Hitches - Aluminum - 165 lbs
I bought this aluminum bed extender / roof rack extender about a year ago. I haven't used it a lot but when I need it, works great. I use it on my Rivian mostly for carrying long lumber or kayaks. The adjustment to switch between bed extender and roof rack is pretty simple. I like the light weight of the aluminum. I would recommend this product.
I purchased this because I needed to extend the length of my kayak roof rack after buying a 17’ kayak. I have it installed on a Jeep Grand Cherokee and it provides a very stable rear mount that prevents the kayak from being over stressed while bouncing down the road. The normal front and rear tie down ropes had to be so tight that my kayak was bending in the middle. This rack is very well made, adjustable, and easy to install.

Malone Axis Truck Bed and Roof Load Extender with Load Roller - 2" Hitches - 375 lbs
Good product! I will recommend it. Much easier to load my 70# kayak in my truck than on my roof racks. Plus I can load all of my fishing gear into my kayak before I leave the house. It dismantles easily to store in the truck when in the parking lot.
Package arrived 1 day earlier than expected, packaged ok, some scuffs and scratches on parts, hence the 4 star. If you need instructions they are average, but simple installation and the rubber roller is awesome, softer than expected from description but firm enough to last. Can't wait for the weather to break to start using my kayak

Flint Hill Goods Truck Bed Extender - 2" Hitches - 350 lbs
This metal is thinner than the previous one purchased. I wish I bought the Malone instead because it might have thicker metal. That’s the last thing you want to worry about is your equipment breaking driving down the highway. In the picture you can see the old one is much thicker. I don’t it was a mistake at the factory.
Just what I was looking for to improve the kayak hauling experience with the short Ridgeline bed, and less bulky to store than some alternatives. Also my upcoming lumber projects. The assembly was straightforward and the rack seems durable.
