Best Truck Headache Racks

I have bought a number of items from Etrailer and this was me was no exception excellent customer service, fast shipping, great communication, fair pricing. This headache rack is built very well it is the nicest one that I own. Easy to install, strong as nails, looks great, top notch. Very happy with B&W and Etrailer (Brittney W.)

Was the right fit and all the parts were there ! I added the dot tape and I didn’t like the idea of splicing into the harness so I routed through the stake pocket and back to the bed plug ! It’s built pretty heavy duty ! I would of like the wires to be of better quality with a heavy rubber insulator but I put it in flex conduit. Just would’ve eliminated one more process! Took 18 min to install and another 30 for the lights ! etrailer made sure I had the right fit and product before it was shipped. They delivered faster than scheduled! I would definitely buy from them again!!!

Overall I like the rack. I put it on a 2014 Toyota Tundra (Double Cab, 6.5' bed). It has worked well with no issues so far (a couple months), appears to be well built, lightweight, looks good. The load stops are useful and quick to adjust. It is a great value and is half the price of the other headache rack I was considering. I am dinging it a star for a couple reasons: 1. They could have done a better job with the way this thing attaches to the truck. The stake pocket rubber bushing thing is poorly conceived and difficult to line up correctly. For the drilled hole, I had to remove my rails to attach the bolt. 2. Parts of this rack are less robust than I'd like. The bottom panel (the part with the logo on it) is a pretty thin sheet of aluminum. The mesh is also pretty thin. Logo emblem is plastic.

The DeeZee aluminum headache rack arrived quickly and I was surprised how easy it was to install. It required assembly which at first I was dreading but after I opened the box and read the instructions it went smooth. It took about 40 minutes and I think it looks great.

2022 Tundra: Fit pretty well with the brackets sitting proud about an inch outside the top of the bed rail. I had to drill holes close to the outside of the bed rail to avoid the composite liner on the inside of the bed. you can look from beneath where you need to drill. I used the wire method to pull the bolt through the drill hole since there is no access. The kit provided with the rack was adequate. An 18mm socket would have helped. I cut one louver from the middle so that the rearview camera would not be obstructed. Its on and is sturdy!

At First I had a problem mounting the Headache Rack but I found the bolt combination that would allow me to utilize the preengineered holes to insert the hold down bolt. Other than that one issue it is great!!!

It only bolts down with two bolts. The bolts have vibrated loose several times. I have to check that it is secure often. Other then that, great product.

Absolutely love this rack! Installation was easy, instructions easy to follow. I did not put the tie downs on the top corners because I like the way it looks without. Nice low profile headache rack. 2016 TOYOTA TACOMA

This came with no hardware to mount it to the bed! The holes in the rack do not fit anything on the bed. What a piece of crap! .

It came in today, so after work I put it on my 2009 Dodge 1500 quad cab..truck looks amazing with the added protection for my rear window. Thank you!! etrailer.com has wonderful & durable products!

After doing research I decided on the B&W rack and I’m glad I did. Install was easy but I’d like to see them change a couple things. The rack is powder coated and I had to wire brush the bolts in order to thread the nuts on. Also I would like to see them have a pigtail for you wiring harness instead of having to splice into it. Other than that I would recommend this rack to anybody who wants a strong durable rack.

Easy to install. I modified my install a bit to accommodate my tonneau cover by adding shim material on the bed rail under the headache rack. I also left out the center piece which is an option.

I am very happy with the quality as well as the price. All my friends asked about it and were equally impressed. Shipping was painless and on time. No expense was spared on the amazing hold down Mechanism.

Bolted up no problem , I custom configured mine for a nice ladder rack . ( The top has rails built in for lights , I altered stoppers to fit in the rails) . I cut the horns down to fit the truck under my car lift . Can't tell I cut 1 1/2 out of it .

Looks great, but the way it is secured to my truck could be better. I have to tighten the bolts every couple months, and even after tightening it, it still wobbles a bit. It still get the job done but wish it would have a stronger hold onto my truck bed.

I like it. One of the side brackets were bent a little bit but I straighten it out when I installed it it looks great now

great product! I actually own an engraving shop and engraved the access plates for the bolt holes with the Gadsden coiled rattlesnake. Made it even better. I am constantly getting compliments about my "awesome" truck. As usual trailer customer service and ordering process is second to none.

I purchased a Westin HDX headache rack through Etrailer. The Westin shipping box was destroyed by the shipper and the hardware package was missing although the headache rack was not damaged. Shery T of Etrailer was most helpful in getting Westin to ship me the hardware package.

I'm giving 4 stars because the product itself it's good. etrailer got it to my city pretty quick. I don't know where in the line though since they use ups that my hardware got lost because the box was pretty damaged. I'm actually waiting to hear from etrailet when I'll get my hardware to install. Kind of sucky that once it got to my town it's been sitting for almost a month to get delivered to me and I just ended having to go pick it up anyways. Then to find out I still can't put on my truck because of poor shipping handling. The lady that helped me to hopefully get my hardware here was very nice and helpful. Let's just see how long it takes to get my hardware though.

Very nice headache rack. The only down side to this particular model is you cannot go through a carwash with it on since it stands above the roof of the truck
