TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs - Custom Frame Mount - Front
Thank you etrailer, excellent customer service help with product.
This is my second set of Torklift frame mounted front and rear camper tie downs. My first set was mounted on a 1995 Ford F250 and hauled a 3800 pound Alpenlite Cabover camper. I drove this rig on very rough ungraded dirt roads which included washed out dry creek crossings. I was absolutely impressed with the Torklift, hence my second set on a 2015 Tacoma to haul a 2004 Six-Pac. Its nice in this day of poorly made off shore products that you can still buy a fairly priced very high quality product.

TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs - Custom Frame Mount - Rear
No 2022 offered so I ordered 2021 and they fit fine, tuck under body nicely…
Well fabricated but the paint of them is trash. They are rusting after less than a year. For the price they really should be powder coated to provide a more durable finish.

TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs - Custom Frame Mount - Front
This is a great frame mounted solution for 1st gen Toyota Tacoma trucks. The kit included all that was needed for the install if you have a few wrenches and a 3/4' deep socket. The install took less than an hour. I also want to mention that the crew at etrailer are top notch and Chris, John, and George were exceptionally responsive and helpful. Furthermore the staff at TorkLift were accessible and even reviewed photographs to ensure the kit would fit my particular vehicle. If you drive an older vehicle I'd also recommend planning on cleaning up your frame with a wire brush and rust preventive paint before installation.

Delivery was fast. Works perfectly for our Lance slide-in camper.
Had to remove trailer hitch for drilling eight holes for easier installation.

Brophy Slide In Camper Tie-Downs - No Drill Bed Mount - Qty 4
I used these to mount a vintage 1970 Avion C-11 to a 1993 D250. They worked great and were much stronger than I expected - and it was a huge cost savings (and a much more attractive look) than some of the frame mounted options of more than $1000. There were some oddities that I noticed. It was impossible to mount them exactly the way the instructions suggested because of where on the wings near the cab,. The brackets also could not stay on with the camper unloaded because they would hit the jack mounts, meaning they had to me bolted in after the camper was in the truck but before lowering the jacks, making the access to the bolts a frustrating 'feel for it' experience.I'f suggest the manufacturer secure the bolt so that you don't need to hold both sides when tightening/loosening, and also refine it to need less turns to do so. It took me 2 hours to mount the first time, and not much less when removing them with the limited access. The pads also came off in the first use. I gave it a 5 star because I realize there are limited options for older campers and anything universal is going to have issues with some thing - so that's just my input and experience. Overall pretty reasonable for the price and functionality.
Order arrived quickly, priced ok. Box was broken open by shipper NS the 4 T-bolsts bolts ere missing. Etrailer shipped ou the missing parts a few days later, but in the meantime I fashioned t-bolts I could use for my trip. Many customer comments on this camper Brophy tie-down match my experience. Etrailer follow up was great, but surely must be aware that their packing is sub-standard. Perhaps zip-tying the T-bolts to larger pieces would eliminate the loss even in case of breakage. Functionally the tie-dows were easy to install and seem quite adequate for off-road use of my in-bed camper. Will continue to use etrailer because of their excellent customer service.

Brophy Slide In Camper Tie-Downs - Extra Clearance - No Drill Bed Mount - Qty 4
Easy to put on they work perfectly very solid I have a 20-22 palomino SS 1251 truck camper Badland Edition doing a great job thank you a bunch
Overall, great design and build. The only change would be the T-bar being larger overall (L&W). It can be tricky to find a good spot in the truck bed wall to place the T-Bar. We had to craft some 2x4's to provide a flat surface (2002 F-150). The exterior attachment points do extend significantly outside of the bed of the truck. The dimensions image does not show this full dimension (Inner bed edge to outside attachment point. On our F-150 and Northstar TC800, there was not enough room to back the truck by the camper legs with these mounts installed. And, we cannot install them once the camper is on the truck.

Brophy Stake Pocket Mounted Camper Tie-Downs - Bed Mount - Qty 4
Put these on my 2002 F350. I have used torklift in the past and could never seem to get the camper (very light, 1100#) from moving around in the bed. I think that was due to the length of the chains and the angles they were at. With the Brophy's everything is good and tight. It can flex a little and sometimes does off road, but it is rock solid like a part of the truck 99% of the time. I have had none of the horror stories about it deforming the bed sides or anything like that. I would buy them again.
These appear to be well-made. I had a hard time drilling the holes, as the tubes that go in the stake pockets are rounded on the side that faces into the bed. The resulting slipped hole broke a couple of the sheet metal screws provided, luckily I had plenty of spares in my misc. hardware bins. The diagram shows both screws per bracket on the inside of the stake pocket. For my 1970 F250, I found it sturdier to do one on the inside, one on the side of each pocket, offset in height a little. Most of the problems I had were my own fault, though, trying to do this by lamplight as it got darker outside. I will point out for future users and to the team that writes the instructions: The instructions are very clear with a good diagram. Many of the other reviews say these twisted or bent on dirt roads, or bigger campers bent them, or they didn't fit the vehicle. There are very clear, concise guidelines about what not to use them on, including "Not for off-road use" The only problem with the instructions was this: For the hex bolts that go from the top through the bed rail, it says to use an 11/32 bit. The bolts provided are only 5/16. 11/32 is bigger than the hole in the brackets for these bolts. A 5/16 bit worked just fine, and was more readily available at my local hardware store. I will add pictures when we go to pick up our camper. For now, these seem more than adequate for the size, weight, and style of truck and camper we use.

TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs - Custom Frame Mount - Rear
The hardest part of the installation was removing the frame bolts from the truck that are reused. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and each piece fit perfectly where it was supposed to go. You don't need to be a mechanic to get these installed, but the proper tools are a must, along with a good chunk of an afternoon.
Kate was very helpful and professional Waiting for notification of my return

TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs - Custom Frame Mount - Front
The order was ready to place and staff was professional. My parts came in within a week, which is sooner than promised. Instructions were pretty vague but it was apparent as to what goes where. I'm only giving 4 stars because I had a bolt that wouldn't go through and lock the brace in place properly. After a couple of tries, and a couple of removals, I found that a collet weld was off, preventing the bolt from going in as it should. I considered ordering a new item but was leaving town the next day, so I managed to drill and file away the offending steel and make it work. Other than 1 star off for QA inspection, the unit worked great.
These are easy to install, fit correctly, and do exactly what they are supposed to do. But they cost twice as much as they should for 4 pieces of welded steel. After one year, we'll see how many more Wisconsin winters they can take before they rust through.

I put these on my F250 for when I carry my Northstar Camper and they have made an enormous difference, especially in sway. They work!
You should make the front angles a little longer for the top of the frame of the truck but thank you very much all done

TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs - Custom Frame Mount - Rear
I have been very happy with these tie-downs. They are VERY easy to install, require no drilling or modification to the hitch and hide away nicely when the inserts are removed. ~9,000 miles with our camper so far and no issues. These are on a 23 F250 PowerStroke short bed.
These tiedowns were exactly as advertised and fit my 2023 f350 4wd crew cab perfectly using preexisting holes and mounts. They even came with wire feeders to feed the bolts through the holes on the frame. Instructions were very good and easy to follow. Can adjust the width of tie down and can also drill new holes to customize the width. I highly recommend these.

TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs - Custom Frame Mount - Rear
Great, quality solution! Provides much more stability over side to side roll vs bed-based tie down systems. Hardly know the camper is there!
The drivers rear didn't get built correctly. the hole to put the tie done is missing. I had to drill a hole into the tie down so I could use it. Didn't notice the problem until I went to put the camper on my pickup. The other three are fine.

Secure, easy to install.
The instructions are unclear and have unreadable photos. Some of the instructions are plain wrong! I gave 2 stars for the quality of the components.

HappiJac Camper Tie-Downs - Custom Bed and Bumper Mount - Front and Rear
I never got any of the parts but this stabilizer bar. Where is $[XX] worth of parts. I ordered this stuff 3 weeks ago.
I am extremely happy with this setup. Installation *could* be done by a single person, but would involve A LOT of figuring out special approaches to holding things in place for alignment and tightening. But I had a friend help me and installation went about as perfectly as one would hope for. I have used the oriduct for multiple trips, sone of which were on washboard gravel and dirt roads, and the setup has worked perfectly. My truck camper is a popup and pretty light, and the setup holds the camper in the truck very nicely. I suspect it would work very well even for heavier and larger truck campers, as well. I called support before ordering and was provided with perfect information in a very professional and caring manner. I am 100% satisfied, and highly recommend both this product and etrailer as a company.

TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs - Custom Frame Mount - Rear
My brother installed these and he used air tools. The brackets fit perfectly. The instructions were thorough. They bolted right in and the only delay was the disconnect/reconnect of the e-brake cable to install the driver's side bracket (2019 RAM 3500). After all the parts were laid out, he installed all 4 brackets in an hour. He commented many times on the weight, high quality and PERFECT FIT of these brackets. These are worth the price and made in the USA.
Went on easy. Started to put the front on and no instructions. Will continue soon

Great product, straight forward install. etrailer install video was very helpful. Photo shows camper and truck before install.
Best product for overhead camper tie-downs period. Instructions could use a little more detail and/clearer picture, but installation was relatively easy and only took approx. 2hrs to install. Much more secure than bed/bumper or stake pocket type tie downs.
What our customers are saying:
"WOW! I am impressed! I called to place my order and real person answered, spoke perfect English, albeit a slight southern accent, and my order was sent within a day, shipped quickly and I had it a few days later. I saved over a hundred dollars over local and installed it my self. I cant imagine how that they could do any better. THANKS!"
