K-Source Universal Towing Mirror - Clip On - Convex Mirror - Qty 1
After years of replacing mirrors from other sources I purchased a pair of these. There fantastic, plenty of adjustments. Got covid on vacation, really sick and did not properly install mirror. Not broken but scratched badly from asphalt at 55 mph. Purchased a replacement, scratched one is my spare.
These mirrors are good, but not great. I bought these because nothing else fits my 2004 Ford Expedition. They allow me to see around my trailer much better than the factory mirrors, but the have a slight vibration driving down the road. They also make a very noticeable noise from the wind going between the factory mirror and this product. Finally, one of the straps came off when I tightened it a bit too much, but didn't break. The picture below was done in humor (I took my trailer through a drive through, thought it was really funny, and had to take a picture. The picture is a good shot of the mirrors.)

After reading lots of reviews on several mirrors, I decided to buy the K-Source Universal Towing Mirrors. Oh how I wish my truck could use the ones that slip over the existing mirrors! I was prepared for a fight, based on reviews, and boy did I get one! I truly needed a third hand when figuring out how to attach these. I was bound and determined that I could do this on my own. No mirrors were going to defeat me! I did ask my husband to come look at them. He started to help but I shewed him away. After a lot of words that don’t normally come out of my mouth and a few tears, the first one was on! Then I had to go do it again in the other side! I’m pretty sure the neighbors heard me yelling. But I persisted! Lo and behold, this 67 year old Grammy did it! It was clear they would not stay on by themselves, so I grabbed a couple of bungee cords and wrapped them around the housing and they aren’t going anywhere. I have left them on my truck. No way I’m going thru that every time we return from camping. I will take them off at the end of camping season. Delivery was really fast. I was disappointed that one box was brand new and the other was smashed and taped, an obvious return. I would have been very unhappy if there was a piece missing or if something was wrong since this was my first purchase with etrailer. Overall, the mirrors work, they do not shake and I find I don’t use the truck mirrors now. Very happy with my purchase.
Fitted on 2024 Toyota Tundra SR5 CrewMax Cab w/ Stock Mirrors No vibration issues with either mirror. Turned left and right side clip on mirrors vertical so the did not overlap truck mirrors. Right side no problem with attachment and was able to adjust truck mirror. Could also see father back along right side of a 24’ travel trailer than just looking in truck mirror. Don’t expect to see behind on right side any vehicles tucked up close. Left side mirror attachment had to be modified so I could adjust truck mirror without interfering with clip on mirror lower L “hooks”. I put a rubber blocks under the lower L hooks so they were low enough to get under truck mirror glass yet still clamp to truck mirror housing. A picture tells the story. 7,000 km/4,200 miles later and neither mirror has loosened or moved. No vibration or distortion. Yes, I ran 2 zip ties as safety “chains” from the back straps to truck mirror arm just in case, they’re barely snug. I recommend these.

CIPA Universal Fit Towing Mirror - Clamp On - Adjustable Length - Steel
Mirrors work exactly as intended, greatly improving rear vision when towing our pontoon behind our 2014 Tacoma. Store nicely in the compartment under the rear seat.
Excellent product. Easy to put on. Took them off, put them in my camper storage. Next trip out, when I put them on, I did not even need to adjust them! The mirrors are slight contour and slight magnification, which makes them easy to see. There is virtually NO vibration during travel. (I have had others that shimmied so bad you could not see a thing.) I flip my driver side mirror in frequently to check my mail box, so it is not very stiff. So I ran a small bungee from the clamp to the grill under my hood. Did this for both sides. My driver side flipped in when traveling at interstate speeds, so I put a second bungee on it. Fixed the problem. Allen bolts at top of clamp are rusting after 2nd use. All in all though, I am very pleased with this product and it is well worth the money spent. It is the only product I could find to properly fit my 2011 Toyota Tacoma, because it clamps on the mirror frame and does not rest on my truck mirrors. Great Product!

K-Source Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirrors - Clip On - Pair
These worked great on my wife's Yukon. Installation instructions were clear and direct. They held up very well traveling 75 mph down the interstate; No jostling around or coming loose. I loved the additional two mirrors. Having the three total different angles while pulling a trailer was extremely helpful. Would highly recommend this setup.
ordering was easy. the product was delivered quickly and without damage. I have a 2023 Colorado Z71 and was concerned about how the towing mirrors were going to attach to the tapered factory mirrors. the fit is superb. no movement during use so far.. I would recommend these to a friend.

CIPA Universal Towing Mirrors - Clip On - Qty 2
The company was fast and gave lots of updates for shipping. Once i received product my concerns were met. The straps are BARELY long enough to connect around my mirror. Once it is straped properly the tension on straps pulls them right out of the retaining clip. I ordered these because i have a 11 silverado just like what was in the product pictures. Save your money and get something else because theres no way these will make it down the highway they will barely stay on just sitting here. Kinda disappointed because i bout these for our first camping trip this weekend but these will not work. Seems like a good company just crappy product.
So-so construction and design. With one modification they're more than acceptable. The arms and straps will slip and loosen if installed on triangular or tapered housings. Mirrors that have backs nearly parallel to the mirror face, and have upper and lower mirror edges that are nearly parallel are not affected. Adding a peel and stick plastic wall hanger to a tapered housing will stop the strap from slipping and loosening. The ball and socket mount is good and tight, but the stud on the ball is loose in the arm. I think most of the jitter and vibration others report is from this sloppy clearance that the stud screw can't tighten enough. I'll be addressing that as well. A nice option for those of us that a) don't tow a majority of the time and don't want full time extended mirrors, and/or b) tow with multiple vehicles and prefer to have adjustability to fit our 'fleet'.

CIPA Universal Towing Mirror - Clip On - Qty 1
The good: inexpensive; decent quality materials The bad: doesn't hold it position very well during extensive or high speed travel - you have to readjust at nearly every stop for gas on a trip. Conclusion: It is worth the money due to its fair price.
Purchased a pair for our 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee towing a nuCamp 400 from FL to AK and back. Three months and around 16k miles. Pros - other than an adjustment the second day, I never had to adjust the tension straps again. They were easy to mount and did not interfere with our mirrors folding inward. They weathered three months on the road without issue though I was beginning to worry about the straps becoming brittle. I noticed this once I removed them. Had I kept them, I would have used some silicon to rejuvenate the rubber. Cons - the only con is they shake. They shake to the point that sometimes I couldn't distinguish what exactly was behind me. I knew there was a vehicle, but the distortion from the vibration prohibited me from getting a clear view of exactly what was behind us. Impressions - they worked for our trip but I knew I would want something else for our next long trip, so we invested in a Furrion Reviewing Camera.

CIPA Universal Towing Mirrors - Clamp On - Qty 2
So far, so good. I received the CIPA mirrors today and immediately installed them. Installation instructions are straight forward. I took a test drive of about 15 miles; there was no noticeable shake or rattle and the mounts did not loosen. As with factory curbside mirrors, objects are closer than they appear with the CIPA mirrors, too. Our first trip towing is a couple weeks from now. I will update my review after the trip.
The view is excellent. The mirrors do not vibrate. In speeds over 50mph, the tube would turn inside the clamps and the mirrors would turn upward, making them useless. Solution: I cut off a finger from a nitrile rubber glove and pushed it over the tube. Now the mirrors stay put.

CIPA Universal Fit Dual-View Towing Mirror - Clip-On
Pros: Very easy to install. Will fit on almost anything. Cons: Bit of a challenge to adjust the in/out tilt on fixed mirror housings. Would like a little more height, but it's OK. This is a good solution for the casual user like me. Installation is painless. If you need more control over height or tilt, this is not for you.
I bought the trailer mirrors for my Jeep Grand Cherokee to pull my pull behind trailer. See pictures. The mirrors attach easily and securely and shake very little when driving. I need them mostly when backing up and I can see where the trailer tires are going. The mirrors do not adjust easily but when you do they stay in place. What I especially like is the size of the mirrors and having two independent mirrors.

Longview Custom Towing Mirrors - Slip On - Driver and Passenger Side
I have not used them as of yet, but the fit is very good. The quality is very good as well. I was surprised that I could get towing mirrors for my 2001 Toyota Sequoia.
5,000 plus miles and counting. Leave them on even when not towing. No wiggle. Mountings still secure. Aerodynamic and much more attractive than other mounting systems. Pricy but well worth it. Toyota did not even offer towing mirrors for the 1st generation Tundras!!!

Unable to tighten mirror clamps enough to eliminate mirror from shaking, preventing clear image while driving.
The mirrors were just what I needed and work well on my Toyota highlander.

Longview Custom Towing Mirrors - Slip On - Driver and Passenger Side
Purchased these to tow a rented travel trailer. They attached securely and provided just enough extra width to see down the sides of the trailer. Mine have 1000 miles on them, no issues.
Once modified slightly, these mirrors work great. For our Chevy Express Van, the collar and hole for the cinching nut needed to be adjusted so the threads on the tightening clip don't have a 20-30 degree side stress on them at the nut. Other than that, they're very good mirrors with little or no vibration while driving. The face of the collar had to be beveled and the hole slotted to allow the nut to angle off correctly. The photos show after modification. etrailer has submitted the photos to the manufacturer for consideration. What easy folks to work with at etrailer.com.

K-Source Snap & Zap Custom Towing Mirrors - Snap On - Driver and Passenger Side
The Mirrors arrived on time and fit my 2012 Dodge Ram Laramie as advertised. Also the installation video was very helpful. However I gave the 4 star rating because the mirrors were shipped in the manufacturer's original box and the box arrived damaged. Fortunately the mirrors were not damaged. This shipping practice is not up to etrailers standards.
Great product. Great price, and a perfect fit on my 2019 Ram 1500 Classic Big Horn truck mirrors. The Etrailer site is very informative and I was confident when ordering the product that it would work for me. Shipping was fast and includes a tracking feature that actually works! These mirrors give me more visibility when towing my camping trailer and look like my truck came equipped with them. Easily removed when not needed. Very pleased. Thanks etrailer team. ,

K-Source Universal Towing Mirrors - Clip On - Flat Mirror - Qty 2
I went right away to try them on my truck. I have a 24 Denali ultimate 1500 Denali and I have a couple of cameras on my side mirrors. The straps are easy to maneuver around the cameras to avoid issues there. Good snug fit I have not taken it out yet to test these in real road conditions but so far so good.
Worked well and as expected. Still can't see as far behind the camper as I would like on the passenger side. Strap them on tight. They shook very litte but some, not enough to be bothersome. Later,I did find them less expensive elsewhere, oh well. Straping them on is tricky to not cover the cameras underneath the truck mirrors. Truthfully I use the camera on the back of the camper along with these mirrors and get additional views from the Chevy cameras as well. I'm not a truck driver and only pull the camper on occasion so I need all the "eyes" I can get especially driving through Nashville and Atlanta.

They are very easy to install and remove when parked for extended periods. Costumer service was very helpful with getting me the correct marrows.

The mirrors help me tow our Lance trailer safely. The adjustable mirrors benefited with a touch of dry lubricant on the joint inside the housing. Emily at etrailer was very helpful!
First set had a factory defect. The hole for the tension knob was not threaded. Replacement sent was also a defect, the mirror panel swivel was un-adjustable. Spend the extra money and get the correct OEM ones for your vehicle.

Longview Custom Towing Mirrors - Slip On - Driver and Passenger Side
These mirrors helped tremendously when towing my Micro Minnie travel trailer versus stock mirrors on my GMC SIERRA 1500. The extended mirrors enabled to better determine when it was safe to move back into my lane after passing a vehicle and allowed me to see better the vehicles behind trailer. Although there was an occasional slight vibration in the passenger side mirror, it did not disrupt the usability of the mirrors. The towing mirrors took only a minute or two to install and fit perfectly on the stock mirrors. Adjusting them properly takes a little more time and is easier when a second person helps. I am extremely pleased with this purchase!
The mirrors were extremely easy and the fit is perfect. These look almost like a factory option installation. All lamp and cameras are exposed and not blocked. The individual mirrors are easily adjustable. Great product! Very pleased.

Just installed them and tried. It would be great if they did not vibrate that much; unfortunately they do; so we will have to find a way to improve it.

After a year of using these on my 2022 Ram 1500 while towing my travel trailer I have found nothing to complain about. They fit perfect, work as designed. Install and remove very easy with no damage to my mirrors and the power fold option still works perfect. Signal lights and puddle lights still work as designed with the mirrors on as well.
provides excellent views right and left side of trailer while towing. highly recommend!

Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2020 Toyota RAV4, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the CIPA Universal Fit Towing Mirror, which is also sold as a set. Whenever we use a towing mirror, it's really going to help expand our field of view. And that can really be useful whenever we're making a lane change, maybe backing up into a tight parking spot or just wanting to keep a closer eye on what's going on behind us.So to give you an example on how much more ground we're going to be able to cover. As you can see, I'm visible in our towing mirror, but not in our factory mirror. However, I take a few steps closer to our trailer, I'll disappear out of that towing mirror and become visible in our factory mirror.
Setting up the K-Source Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirrors on a 2020 Toyota RAV4
Connor: Hey guys, how's it going Connor here today at etrailer.com. We're going to be taking a look at the K Source universal dual lens towing mirrors, here for our 2020 Toyota RAV4. To really give you a better feel of how these towing mirrors increase your visibility, we're going to be standing directly beside a trailer here, which as you can see, we are clearly seen in the factory mirror housings. However, if we we're to step over a few feet to simulate our blind spot, as you can see we're no longer visible from the factory mirror when we are able to be seen here from our aftermarket towing mirrors. In regards to universal towing mirrors, this K Source option is by far my favorite. There's a couple of reasons why this is my favorite. Number one, we have a dual lens mirror face here, which is going to give us an increased view of our trailer, in particular our blind spot, via the blind spot mirror on the side.

Connor: Hey guys, how's it going Connor here today at etrailer.com. We're going to be taking a look at these CIPA universal fit dual view towing mirrors here for our 2020 Toyota RAV4.To really help you understand how much an improvement these aftermarket towing mirrors are, here for our RAV4, we're going to be standing directly beside the trailer, which as you can see, we're still visible in our factory side mirror. However, if we we're to step to the left a few feet, which would simulate our blind spot, we're no longer visible from the factory side mirror, but now we can clearly see with the aftermarket towing mirror. What I really like about these CIPA towing mirrors here is that we have this dual mirror face. With both of the mirror faces being adjustable independently, up and down, and side to side. Now the benefit of this dual mirror faces, we're going to have a much better view of our trailer, the blind spots in particular so we can safely merge in traffic. As we can see here we have a nice and tight fit on the back of our factory mirrors here. We don't have to worry about any damage to our factory mirror housing as well.
How to Set Up Your CIPA Universal Towing Mirror on a 2020 Toyota RAV4
Connor: Hey guys, how's it going Connor here today at etrailer.com. We're going to be taking a look at the CIPA Universal Towing Mirrors here for our 2020 Toyota RAV4.So to show you some benefits here that our towing mirrors are going to offer when we're out on the road, if we need to change lanes, generally speaking, we're going to have a pretty large blind spot with our trailer here. We're not going to be able to see cars coming upon us when we do need to merge over. However, these towing mirrors are going to be the perfect solution for that because they're going to essentially get rid of the blind spot with our trailer here. As you can see, I'm stepping to the side of the trailer where I'm still visible all the way until we get back to our factory mirrors. So what I really like about these CIPA towing mirrors, as you can see, we have a very large mirror face here, seven and a half inches by five inches. So this is going to give us a very wide view of our trailer.
