I choose this particular unit because it can handle the weight 2 of bikes (non-e-bikes) and the weight of my e-bike is equivalent to weight of 2 bikes. Note: Must readjust the straps after mounting the bike to the rake.
great! works really well, and a lot easier to attach than I anticipated. We drove with bikes across the country from south west all the way to North east. solid rack!

Thule Passage 3 Bike Carrier - Trunk Mount
Way too light duty for what is advertised. It seemed to be made out of 1/2 inch electrical conduit. I would never put three bikes on that rack. I only had two bikes on the rack. While on trip through Idaho the wind was so strong that one of the bikes partially blew off the rack. We traveled 1,800 miles and upon arriving home I actually sawed the bike rack up and threw it away so that no one else would use it and cause an accident. I've already found a different brand that is HEAVY DUTY and I will stick with that brand.
This is definitely more of a 2 bike carrier vs 3 bikes. I had to take the front wheels off two bikes to get three bikes on this carrier. Also, it rubbed the paint off on the trunk of my Subaru legacy.

Yakima HangOut 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
When I started the search for a bike rack, I was so disappointed and upset to hear that I would need to install a hitch and spend even more money to buy another bike rack for my 2016 jeep renegade. I ordered this bike rack with a little hope but got a huge surprise! Not only is it super convenient and easy to install but I can fully use my trunk and not spend a ton of money!
Very nice, works well. The only thing that was an issue was with the "Anchor" part of assembly. The straps it came with were 2-3 ft. too short. So I had to replace/substitute my cargo straps for the Yakima top straps. Other than that, I'm pretty satisfied with this item.

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Toyota Highlander we're gonna be doing a test fit of our Hollywood Racks over the top trunk mounted two bike rack. That's part number HRF2. As you can see, we have one bike loaded up already to show how bikes sit on the rack. We have two arms that are gonna support our bikes, and we have two cradles, one per arm. That's gonna give us two points of contact on our cross bar and one point of contact on our vertical bar here. That's gonna prevent the bikes from swaying, making contact with each other or our vehicle.To remove the bikes, we're going to pull off the soft rubber straps here that are going to prevent any sort of damage to our bike frame.

This comes as both a two-bike version as HRF2, as well as a three-bike version as part HRF2-3. Both options will carry up to a 35 pound bike in each cradle. Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Toyota Highlander, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Yakima HangOut Trunk-Mounted 2 Bike Rack. That's part number Y02637.So, I've already got it loaded up with our bike onto the Highlander just to give you a good idea of what it looks like and how it holds our bikes. Like most hanging-style bike racks, it holds our bikes by their top tube. We've got two adjustable rubber straps on the top and then one for our seat post too. This one here is going to be our anti-sway. It's going to help cut down on that bike-to-bike contact and bike-to-vehicle contact when we're on the road.

We're first going to show you how we secure it in place. We have two straps on our frame and one as our anti-sway strap in the back. I'm going to pull down and lift up to release those. Then we'll be able to pull our bike off and set it off to the side. With our bike out of the way, we'll take a few measurements.
