Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box - 16 cu ft - Matte Black
Excellent car top carrier (not that I've had many to compare it to). Easy to install and remove, sturdy, and fits well on our Toyota Siena. Opening it is a little tricky, as sometimes the top sticks to the bottom a bit. Adds a lot of extra storage to our car, great for when we go camping. Great experience with etrailer.
Excellent roomy cargo box. My wife’s luggage even fit (see photo). Fit the top of my Forester like it was meant to be there and the hatch opens without obstruction. Great shipping by etrailer.com via Estes freight shipping (almost overkill on shipping).

Thule Pulse Alpine Rooftop Cargo Box - 11 Cu Ft - Matte Black
my rooftop carrier! It was perfect for our golf clubs. etrailer was wonderful. Great communication and it arrived on expected date.
It was what I expected with a feature that I didn't expect. The quick mounting clamps make it very easy to attach.

SportRack Vista XL Cargo Box - Roof Mount - 18 cu ft - Black
After a year of dependable use the SportRack Vista XL Cargo Box continues to perform to my needs, wants, and expectations. The 2 attributes that shine the most are ease of access/cargo loading (rear access vs. side) and ease of off/on (lightweight and access to the U-bolt hardware). While the overall quality of the materials and hardware are not quite "Excellent", they're darn close. For my needs I'm very happy with this cargo box and the price point makes it a better option the the more expensive brands. It may not be as cool and groovy as a Th*** or Yak*** box but it gets the job done.
The Roof Box was as described and fit great -- Nice. Shipping however was not good, trucker dropped it and the skid at the foot of the driveway -- It looked like it had been crushed and dropped. There was some slight damage, but we accepted it as complaining would be more trouble than it is worth. E Trailer should vet their carriers better -- no care taken with this shipment.

Thule Pulse Medium Rooftop Cargo Box - 14 cu ft - Matte Black
I can see why people consider the box a bit flimsy, especially when you do not have it secured to the car and nothing is inside. That’s normal. For this to weigh 34 lbs and yet to be wall sturdy and provide waterproof conditions that the bag cannot, it has to be lightweight. Once we attached it to the car at 4 points, it wasn’t going anywhere and was instantly sturdy. I wouldn’t roughhouse with the locks or opening it up and down with force however. Also, 14 cu for a sedan is plenty. Anything larger and you are looking to push the limits.
Bought this box to hold camping gear while on a cross country road trip. You can put quite a bit of stuff in it. Held securely to roof rack and kept contents dry. I liked that the key could not be removed if lid wasn’t completely closed. Minimal affect on gas milage.

Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box - 18 cu ft - Black Glossy
This rooftop cargo carrier is exactly what I wanted. Well made and super easy to install. Thank you for the fast service.
The box is big (XL), shiny and sleek. Looks great on our 2021 Subaru Ascent. It weighs about 40lbs, so I was able to simply lift it up and onto the stock Subaru cross bars by myself with a bit of effort going towards balance. Then it was just a matter of attaching the clamps by hand tightening them. I don’t think it could get any easier. The locking mechanism is very assertive and secure. The box is big and can hold just about anything you’d need on a road trip. However, on a midsize SUV like the Ascent, it seems like the perfect size, not too small, not too big. It’s a good fit. Unfortunately, my small 2 car garage is too low to accommodate the vehicle with the box in place. Overall it’s a very refined and well thought out package.
Installation: Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Rooftop Cargo Box on a 2022 Subaru Forester
Hi, Matt with etrailer. If you're looking for a way to carry your cargo from point A to point B in a more secure fashion, and you don't want the elements getting to it, then Yakima NX 16 roof box can be a great option on your 2022 Subaru Forester. What's really nice about this is if you're running out of space in the back of the Subaru, and maybe you're going on a vacation so you got a little bit of extra luggage with you, putting it somewhere else is going to go a lot for you. Especially if your hitch is already being taken up by something or you don't already own a hitch, then the roof is gonna be your next best option. So let's check it out. First, let me show you how this is gonna work.

Now this one happens to be 16 cubic feet and let's just hop up there and open it up. You got this nice, metal handle here.
Setting up the Trunx Rooftop Cargo Box on a 2009 Subaru Forester
AJ: What's up, everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to check out the Trunx rooftop box on our 2009 Subaru Forester. Right away when you look at it, you see it's different from other rooftop boxes. With these prop rods, it gives you three points of access, so you can throw things in from either side of your vehicle, or just straight up from the back. That means if you're in a tight parking spot, and there's a car right next to you, and you can't quite load up, or you're worried about unloading it, you can just go to the other side. And if you're parked on both sides, then you can go from the back here. Now, you are going to need a crossbar space of 22 inches for it to attach properly.
