Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch - Worm Gear - Hex Drive - 2,000 lbs
Works perfectly. I’m using the winch to lift a heavy (100 lb) cast iron effluent pump. The pump occasionally needs to have float switches replaced and the winch makes this job much easier.
Fantastic, well built, expected to see cheap socket welded onto the handle, nope, instead there was welded a quality 5/8" "PROTO" socket.. impressive! Just what I needed.

Fulton F2 Fully Enclosed, 2-Speed Trailer Winch with Adjustable Handle - 3,200 lbs
Just got my F2 2- speed winch mounted a couple of days ago. It was easy to mount. It was more difficult to remove the old winch than it was to install the new one. Haven’t had a chance to use it at the boat landing yet but it seems like it will work well. Unable to give a rating since I haven’t actually used it yet.
I added the Fulton F2 to my 1994 Mastercraft Prostar Trailer and it fit beautifully, and with room to spare. People may say that a 3,200 lbs pulling winch is overkill for a boat whose dry weight is 2,600 lbs but I live on a lake with a terribly steep ramp, so I usually need to finish cranking her up while on land so, I naturally, I needed a little more oomph! Note that when the drum is full, all winch's pulling capacity decrease. The F2 has a pulling capacity of 1,600 lbs when the drum is full, which is usually where I need the power - to move the boat that last 12". The gears come pre-lubricated, since it's an enclosed design with hefty cast aluminum, I see why this winch has a lifetime warranty; it's built to last. In my opinion, the double hub design just makes sense. Usually I want to leave my boat in the lake as long as possible, now I can't wait to take it out just so I can try this winch.

Fulton High-Performance Brake Winch - Winch Only - 1,500 lbs
You can order this from [online]. Beware of free shipping from etrailer. You will get what you pay for. They sent it via USPS that took 7 days to deliver it, 3 days after "predicted". Too late.
We use these exclusively in a production environment where they are hosed down regularly. They last years and we have never had a failure. We replace them only becuase they eventually begin to stain but they are way cheaper than SS units.

Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch - TUFFPLATE Finish - 2 Speed - Direct Drive - 3,200 lbs
Super beefy and after a years worth of use it still works as good as the day it was installed. I went a lot bigger then the factory winch on my trailer and I am glad I did. This thing drags my boat up without breaking a sweat.
I’m using two of these on a floating dock that fluctuates seasonally due to TVA water release during the winter. They hold plenty of cable & are heavy duty enough to move the dock as needed.

Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch - Worm Gear - Hex Drive - 1,500 lbs
I am building a setup to raise and lower an ameteur radio tower. Purchased a winch from a hardware chain store, it looked just like yours and was $25 cheaper. It was rated for 2000lbs, but stripped out at only 200lbs and left my hanging with tower raise only 30 degrees, yes I had a scale on one of the cables. Replaced with your product today, it didn't even strain, even though it is rated for 500 lbs less. Lesson learned. Great product and btw I've had the same winch installed on another tower for years, has worked flawlessly.
Just received the winch! Excellent quality from first blush. Will have to wait a week or two before I can test its lifting capability. I have installed it in a wall position, using cable and pulleys attached to the ceiling to lift something up next to the ceiling occasionally.

Fulton 2-Speed Trailer Winch - 10" Long Handle - 20' Strap - Zinc - 3,200 lbs
After two weeks of waiting this is how it arrived. If you going to use USPS to ship I will consider other retailers.
Excellent upgrade from the wimpy one which came with the trailer. Great for my lousy shallow ramp, back in such that the boat nests in the bunks and let the torque from this thing easily drag the boat up to the stop.

2-Speed Boat Trailer Winch with 20' Strap and Brake - 3,200 lbs
Five stars..purchased this winch to minimize effort to haul in my 18ft Fourwinns when the trailer angle/submergence makes for a tougher reloading. The two speeds allow for an easier retrieval when winching the boat onto the trailer. Literally cranking takes half the effort to retrieve my boat. The foot print of mounting on my existing winch stand was easy, required drilling a few extra holes to secure, but is solidly mounted using only 3 bolt/nuts. I also camouflaged painted the winch to offset the “new shiny” appearance against theft when trailer is parked at the marina’s.
Well at first i was a little concerned because the factory container box was mangled. The shipping box was fine. It seemed ok. Installed and seems to be fine

Dutton-Lainson StrongArm Electric Winch - Marine - 3,000 lbs
Shopped around a lot before I bought this. My boat is heavy (7500 lb) and the wench I had struggled. I took a chance on this as it was rated for the weight. I used the Anderson style connectors and installed a breaker near the battery. Pulled new wire rated for the amp draw. I couldnt be happier! This thing is a beast! Has no prob pulling my boat and cant see that it struggles at all. Highly reccomend. Photo is during installation. I put a cover over it due to my anchor comes close when launching and didnt want it to hit.
Installed cables. 35A breaker is not insulated and required additional cable to connect to modern battery terminal - so had to buy an insulated breaker. On first use, the small gear on the motor drive shaft fell off because it was installed at the factory without a snap ring. Luckily I found it and fashioned a snap ring for temporary use to load the boat (see picture). Then learned the clutch was set excessively low - would not pull anything close to 1000 pounds. Manual says to not adjust clutch more than 20 degrees, but that would not pull as much as a 2000 lb ratchet strap. I see the other good reviews on this product, but clearly mine was built with some serious QC issues. Hard day on the boat ramp. Grateful for the help and patience of fellow boaters. I am beyond the 60 days to return this product since I bought and installed it over the winter to enjoy this boating season.

Fulton High-Performance 2-Speed Trailer Winch with 20' Strap - Zinc - 2,600 lbs
This is just the right winch that I needed for my application ( raft trailer ). Easy ordering process. Delivered as expected and simple install.
I welded this to my raft trailer and it has been really nice with the 2-speed when the raft is fully loaded after doing multi-day trips. It takes a minute to figure out what it all does but it does the job easily. The only downfall is that it's LOUD.

Fulton Single Speed Trailer Winch - 7" Long Handle - 20' Strap - Zinc - 1,100 lbs
it arrived quickly, and it was just what we needed.
This isn't my first winch like this and I love the first one as much as I'm sure I will this one. It is so smooth on releasing that I can easily pull out the strap I need and my first one was mounted on a boat trailer. This one was mounted on a 14 foot utility trailer that I use often. I made the mount for a moose hunt and wish I had this winch at the time. However, I have an offset smoker on wheels and haul it with this trailer and I positive this winch is going to be A LOT better than the one I had. The boat trailer sure is!!

Fulton F2 Fully Enclosed Trailer Winch with Adjustable Handle - 2,000 lbs
I just received my new winch. Free shipping and I am surprised how quickly it arrived and how easy it was to install!! This is the third time I have ordered from them, and they have just about everything one can need for their trailer, and they provide great service and technical information. This winch has no exposed springs and the lock mechanism is greatly improved and looks great!
The product was as described and arrived expediently. It works fine on our trailer. Would recommend

Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch - TUFFPLATE Finish - 2 Speed - Direct Drive - 3,500 lbs
I tried to write a review on your link below, but no luck tonight. We have completed our ATV/Tractor log arch (pictures attached) of which included the Dutton-Laison Hand Winch (DL14881) and the 7/32" x 50' Fulton Galvanized Winch Cable(FWC7500100). I purchased both items from etrailer, and together they work to easily drag and then load up 14" to 22" white pine logs into the log arch. While most logs are 8' long, the winch will easily handle a 16' log. The winches hand brake works very well in tandem with the down mode of the winch handle, when lowering a heavy log back onto the ground. Both of these items met and exceeded my expectations for both quality and price point, plus another bonus is the winch is made in the USA. I am very happy to say that you and etrailer have made our log arch project a big success!
I bought this winch to mount in an enclosed trailer for vehicle recovery. I didnt want an electric winch because I knew it would not be used frequently and didnt want to deal with a battery. I was skeptical about the pullung power it would provide. In use however, I was able to drag with ease, a 2500 pound vehicle into the trailer with one of the vehicles wheels locked up. In low gear the winch is slow, but dang it will pull. So that the winch could be removed easily, I mounted it to a skid that is anchored to the front two tie downs in my trailer. This way when not needed it can be stored in the front of the trailer, or removed entirely. The best part, no batteries. Also, nothing to go bad from sitting idle for a while.

Fulton Single Speed Trailer Winch - 9" Long Handle, 20' Strap - Zinc - 1,800 lbs
Fulton winches are high quality and last a long time
We were up in New Hampshire for Labor Day weekend getting ready to come home on Monday. Upon putting my 18 ft. boat on its trailer the winch strap broke. Luckily the boat was already on the trailer and all I was doing was snugging it up after it was out the water. When ever we go on a long trip I come prepared. I tied the front end of boat with ratchet straps for the long ride to Conn. I ordered the new winch Tuesday and received it Friday. Great service. Other sites had me waiting to Oct. I highly recommend this site.

Perfect Replacement for the Yamaha Wave Runners. An upgrade from the original winch!

Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch - Worm Gear - Loop Drive - Ceiling Mount - 1,500 lbs
I purchased two of the DL10954 units to hang a Kayak and Paddleboard above my vehicle in my garage. The units were heavy duty, much more than I expected. I have added some pictures of my installation. Now anyone in the family can lower them and get to them when needed. Thanks Mark
I am only using this to lift 150-200 lbs, taking a topper off and on my truck. It works great, but I switched the loop for a hex drive. A bit of warning, I managed to burn up the motor on a $200 Ridgid 18V drill. For some reason I didn't have issues with my cheaper Ridgid drill, but still something to be aware of.

Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch w/ Automatic Brake - TUFFPLATE Finish - 1,200 lbs
Kaylyn was great finding me the right winch Put it together every thing worked . the brake works as i did a test on it. I need to mount it on my van so it will be a couple of weeks. Winch is well built. Tks kaylyn. Eric
Stupid me ordered the wrong one but Etrailer assisted me with my return and sending me another. Winch replacement was SIMPLE. 3 bolts and the cable connector, now our tent trailer top raises like new. 30 min's tops. Very pleased.

Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch - Worm Gear - Split Reel - 1,500 lbs
I used the split reel winch to make a lift for storing bins in my attic, it works great. Used a 3/8" universal joint for alignment and #35 chain and gears to over come the 30:1 The split drum allowed me to reeve the lift up in the bite, used 1/4 inch solid braid nylon. Can use the hand crank (removable) or the electric drill. The bottom of the lift platform is the ceiling panel.
Bought this winch for a homemade pickup truck camper-shell lift rigged to my metal carport. Works great! In fact this is a very well built, heavy, solid and smooth operating winch, more so than I expected and well worth the price.
