CIPA Universal Fit Dual-View Towing Mirror - Clip-On
Pros: Very easy to install. Will fit on almost anything. Cons: Bit of a challenge to adjust the in/out tilt on fixed mirror housings. Would like a little more height, but it's OK. This is a good solution for the casual user like me. Installation is painless. If you need more control over height or tilt, this is not for you.
I bought the trailer mirrors for my Jeep Grand Cherokee to pull my pull behind trailer. See pictures. The mirrors attach easily and securely and shake very little when driving. I need them mostly when backing up and I can see where the trailer tires are going. The mirrors do not adjust easily but when you do they stay in place. What I especially like is the size of the mirrors and having two independent mirrors.

CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors - Slip On - Driver Side and Passenger Side
2010 F150 Lining up the Thumb screw hole took a little work.. I did manage to get it all lined up With a little work and observation. I lined up the anti-slip plate with the thumb screw hole before I installed it, and marked The adjacent location with a sharpie. After realigning the thumb screw turned down all the way with little effect. Extension mirror looks sharp!! And is solid against the existing mirror.
Great product at a fair price and the best customer service on the planet! After having issues with UPS delivery resulting in them returning my shipment, Aris, the most fabulous customer service rep reached out as soon as they received it back at their facility and made sure my order went through to get these mirrors to me. She and everyone at etrailer are just great people to work with. My husband loves the mirrors, extended visibility, how easy they mount, stability, and they fold in! Highly recommend both the mirrors and the company! Thank you!!!!

K-Source Universal Towing Mirrors - Clip On - Convex Mirror - Qty 2
After reading lots of reviews on several mirrors, I decided to buy the K-Source Universal Towing Mirrors. Oh how I wish my truck could use the ones that slip over the existing mirrors! I was prepared for a fight, based on reviews, and boy did I get one! I truly needed a third hand when figuring out how to attach these. I was bound and determined that I could do this on my own. No mirrors were going to defeat me! I did ask my husband to come look at them. He started to help but I shewed him away. After a lot of words that don’t normally come out of my mouth and a few tears, the first one was on! Then I had to go do it again in the other side! I’m pretty sure the neighbors heard me yelling. But I persisted! Lo and behold, this 67 year old Grammy did it! It was clear they would not stay on by themselves, so I grabbed a couple of bungee cords and wrapped them around the housing and they aren’t going anywhere. I have left them on my truck. No way I’m going thru that every time we return from camping. I will take them off at the end of camping season. Delivery was really fast. I was disappointed that one box was brand new and the other was smashed and taped, an obvious return. I would have been very unhappy if there was a piece missing or if something was wrong since this was my first purchase with etrailer. Overall, the mirrors work, they do not shake and I find I don’t use the truck mirrors now. Very happy with my purchase.
Fitted on 2024 Toyota Tundra SR5 CrewMax Cab w/ Stock Mirrors No vibration issues with either mirror. Turned left and right side clip on mirrors vertical so the did not overlap truck mirrors. Right side no problem with attachment and was able to adjust truck mirror. Could also see father back along right side of a 24’ travel trailer than just looking in truck mirror. Don’t expect to see behind on right side any vehicles tucked up close. Left side mirror attachment had to be modified so I could adjust truck mirror without interfering with clip on mirror lower L “hooks”. I put a rubber blocks under the lower L hooks so they were low enough to get under truck mirror glass yet still clamp to truck mirror housing. A picture tells the story. 7,000 km/4,200 miles later and neither mirror has loosened or moved. No vibration or distortion. Yes, I ran 2 zip ties as safety “chains” from the back straps to truck mirror arm just in case, they’re barely snug. I recommend these.

Unable to tighten mirror clamps enough to eliminate mirror from shaking, preventing clear image while driving.
The mirrors were just what I needed and work well on my Toyota highlander.

K-Source Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirrors - Clip On - Pair
These worked great on my wife's Yukon. Installation instructions were clear and direct. They held up very well traveling 75 mph down the interstate; No jostling around or coming loose. I loved the additional two mirrors. Having the three total different angles while pulling a trailer was extremely helpful. Would highly recommend this setup.
ordering was easy. the product was delivered quickly and without damage. I have a 2023 Colorado Z71 and was concerned about how the towing mirrors were going to attach to the tapered factory mirrors. the fit is superb. no movement during use so far.. I would recommend these to a friend.

CIPA Universal Fit Towing Mirror - Clamp On - Adjustable Length - Steel
Mirrors work exactly as intended, greatly improving rear vision when towing our pontoon behind our 2014 Tacoma. Store nicely in the compartment under the rear seat.
Excellent product. Easy to put on. Took them off, put them in my camper storage. Next trip out, when I put them on, I did not even need to adjust them! The mirrors are slight contour and slight magnification, which makes them easy to see. There is virtually NO vibration during travel. (I have had others that shimmied so bad you could not see a thing.) I flip my driver side mirror in frequently to check my mail box, so it is not very stiff. So I ran a small bungee from the clamp to the grill under my hood. Did this for both sides. My driver side flipped in when traveling at interstate speeds, so I put a second bungee on it. Fixed the problem. Allen bolts at top of clamp are rusting after 2nd use. All in all though, I am very pleased with this product and it is well worth the money spent. It is the only product I could find to properly fit my 2011 Toyota Tacoma, because it clamps on the mirror frame and does not rest on my truck mirrors. Great Product!

K-Source Snap & Zap Custom Towing Mirrors - Snap On - Driver and Passenger Side
I have a 2016 Silverado 2500 HD LTZ with factory mirrors including heat, turn signal and electric adjustments. Have been towing a 24 foot Travel trailer and the factory mirrors are adequate. Am used to swerving a little to see behind the trailer before changing lanes. Am now going to tow a thirty foot trailer and decided the mirrors would not do. Looked for an oem towing mirror but was shocked by the price. $[XX] plus for one that has all the functions of the LTZ mirror. Looked around, watched videos, read reviews and decided to puchase these mirrors. Got them today and they installed in a snap. Have yet to use them but will be shortly. Initial impression is that they will provide the extra vision needed to pull this trailer. Only complaint was the condition of the package received by USPS. The product was shipped in the manufacturer packaging which was probably not a good choice. Fortunately the mirrors were undamaged as can be seen in the photos. In any case, the mirrors fit and seem to be well constructed. Hence the five stars. Time will tell if I made a good choice.
These could be the best mirror extensions I’ve ever owned. They are totally worth the cost. Scratching of the factory is an issue during installation and dismount. I used helicopter tape to minimize the problem spots.

After years of replacing mirrors from other sources I purchased a pair of these. There fantastic, plenty of adjustments. Got covid on vacation, really sick and did not properly install mirror. Not broken but scratched badly from asphalt at 55 mph. Purchased a replacement, scratched one is my spare.
These mirrors are good, but not great. I bought these because nothing else fits my 2004 Ford Expedition. They allow me to see around my trailer much better than the factory mirrors, but the have a slight vibration driving down the road. They also make a very noticeable noise from the wind going between the factory mirror and this product. Finally, one of the straps came off when I tightened it a bit too much, but didn't break. The picture below was done in humor (I took my trailer through a drive through, thought it was really funny, and had to take a picture. The picture is a good shot of the mirrors.)

The company was fast and gave lots of updates for shipping. Once i received product my concerns were met. The straps are BARELY long enough to connect around my mirror. Once it is straped properly the tension on straps pulls them right out of the retaining clip. I ordered these because i have a 11 silverado just like what was in the product pictures. Save your money and get something else because theres no way these will make it down the highway they will barely stay on just sitting here. Kinda disappointed because i bout these for our first camping trip this weekend but these will not work. Seems like a good company just crappy product.
So-so construction and design. With one modification they're more than acceptable. The arms and straps will slip and loosen if installed on triangular or tapered housings. Mirrors that have backs nearly parallel to the mirror face, and have upper and lower mirror edges that are nearly parallel are not affected. Adding a peel and stick plastic wall hanger to a tapered housing will stop the strap from slipping and loosening. The ball and socket mount is good and tight, but the stud on the ball is loose in the arm. I think most of the jitter and vibration others report is from this sloppy clearance that the stud screw can't tighten enough. I'll be addressing that as well. A nice option for those of us that a) don't tow a majority of the time and don't want full time extended mirrors, and/or b) tow with multiple vehicles and prefer to have adjustability to fit our 'fleet'.

CIPA Custom Towing Mirror - Slip On - Driver Side
They are very easy to install and remove when parked for extended periods. Costumer service was very helpful with getting me the correct marrows.
Great product! I use them on all my trailers as well as my travel trailer. This is actually me second set...the first got destroyed by a hit n run and i could not live without them!

K-Source Universal Towing Mirrors - Clip On - Flat Mirror - Qty 2
I went right away to try them on my truck. I have a 24 Denali ultimate 1500 Denali and I have a couple of cameras on my side mirrors. The straps are easy to maneuver around the cameras to avoid issues there. Good snug fit I have not taken it out yet to test these in real road conditions but so far so good.
Worked well and as expected. Still can't see as far behind the camper as I would like on the passenger side. Strap them on tight. They shook very litte but some, not enough to be bothersome. Later,I did find them less expensive elsewhere, oh well. Straping them on is tricky to not cover the cameras underneath the truck mirrors. Truthfully I use the camera on the back of the camper along with these mirrors and get additional views from the Chevy cameras as well. I'm not a truck driver and only pull the camper on occasion so I need all the "eyes" I can get especially driving through Nashville and Atlanta.

CIPA Universal Towing Mirrors - Clamp On - Qty 2
So far, so good. I received the CIPA mirrors today and immediately installed them. Installation instructions are straight forward. I took a test drive of about 15 miles; there was no noticeable shake or rattle and the mounts did not loosen. As with factory curbside mirrors, objects are closer than they appear with the CIPA mirrors, too. Our first trip towing is a couple weeks from now. I will update my review after the trip.
The view is excellent. The mirrors do not vibrate. In speeds over 50mph, the tube would turn inside the clamps and the mirrors would turn upward, making them useless. Solution: I cut off a finger from a nitrile rubber glove and pushed it over the tube. Now the mirrors stay put.

Longview Custom Towing Mirrors - Slip On - Driver and Passenger Side
These mirrors helped tremendously when towing my Micro Minnie travel trailer versus stock mirrors on my GMC SIERRA 1500. The extended mirrors enabled to better determine when it was safe to move back into my lane after passing a vehicle and allowed me to see better the vehicles behind trailer. Although there was an occasional slight vibration in the passenger side mirror, it did not disrupt the usability of the mirrors. The towing mirrors took only a minute or two to install and fit perfectly on the stock mirrors. Adjusting them properly takes a little more time and is easier when a second person helps. I am extremely pleased with this purchase!
The mirrors were extremely easy and the fit is perfect. These look almost like a factory option installation. All lamp and cameras are exposed and not blocked. The individual mirrors are easily adjustable. Great product! Very pleased.

CIPA Custom Towing Mirror - Slip On - Driver Side
The mirrors help me tow our Lance trailer safely. The adjustable mirrors benefited with a touch of dry lubricant on the joint inside the housing. Emily at etrailer was very helpful!
First set had a factory defect. The hole for the tension knob was not threaded. Replacement sent was also a defect, the mirror panel swivel was un-adjustable. Spend the extra money and get the correct OEM ones for your vehicle.
DIY Install: CIPA Universal Fit Towing Mirror on your 2018 Nissan Rogue
Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2018 Nissan rogue, we're gonna be checking out the CIPA universal fit towing mirror, which is also sold as a set. Whenever we use a towing mirror, what it's going to do is really help expand our field of view. We're going to be able to see a lot better and that's really going to be useful whenever we're, you know, maybe backing up into a tight parking spot, making a lane change, or maybe just kinda want to keep a closer eye on what's going on behind us. So to give you an example that as you can see, I'm visible in our towing mirror, but not in our factory mirror. However, if I take a few steps closer to our trailer, I'll disappear out of that towing mirror and become visible in our factory mirror, that's really going to help eliminate any of those blind spots too.
How to Install the CIPA Universal Fit Towing Mirror on a 2017 Nissan Rogue
Hey Rogue owners. Today we're going to be taking a look at the CIPA clamp on towing mirrors for your 2017 Nissan Rogue. These are available as a quantity of two, so you'll have one for the driver and passenger side, or you can pick up just one if you only want one for the driver's side.To give you an idea of what it's going to do for you on your Rogue, I'm back here by the boat we're hauling. You can see me in the factory mirror right now, but as I take a few steps out, you'll lose that visibility in the factory mirror; but you can see how the towing mirror widens your view. This is going to make it much safer for you when you're changing lanes, passing, or parking. The mirror is held in place with these two clamps here at the top of your mirror housing. They tighten down with the rubber pads to ensure that they won't go anywhere while you're heading down the road. The mirror is adjustable up and down, left and right, as well as diagonally.
Mount: K-Source Universal Towing Mirror on a 2017 Nissan Rogue
Today on our 2017 Nissan Rouge, we'll be taking a look at the K-Source Universal Towing Mirror, part number: KS3891. Here we've gone ahead and backed up to our trailer and we have our towing mirror installed. In our factory mirror, we have clear visibility to the back of our trailer; though, if I step out to the side just a bit, we're going to lose that visibility in our factory mirror, but gain it in our towing mirror. This is going to help whenever we're passing vehicles on the highway or trying to park our trailer. Our towing mirror is fully adjustable to change our field of view to whatever we need. The four plastic tabs at the front, as well as the two straps on the back, are going to hold our towing mirror to our factory mirror. They're not going to interfere with that factory mirror, so we can still adjust it if we need to. The two straps on the back are ratchet straps, so they'll give a nice, secure fit. They're also coated in a rubber coating to prevent any scratches or abrasions.
Setting up the CIPA Universal Towing Mirror on your 2016 Nissan Rogue
Today, on our 2016 Nissan Rogue, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the CIPA Universal Towing Mirror. This comes in a quantity of one under part number 7070, or a quantity of two under part number 7070-2.When towing, you have limited visibility with your factory mirror. As I make my way outside, I become visible in the clip-on mirror. This is very useful for when you're driving down the road and you need to pass or get in another lane.Right now we have our mirror in the vertical position. However, if we so choose, we can go ahead and just turn it to the horizontal position, if that's what you prefer. You're also gonna see that you have maximum pivot points, to adjust the mirror to the exact location you need it.As you can see, there is still space between the teeth of our clip-on mirror, and the mirror on our factory housing, so that won't impede on the functions of our factory mirror.
