Yakima WindShield Fairing for Roof Racks - 40" Long
Have a custom roof rack with 1-1/8” round cross bars. The Yakima fairing fits great! Virtually eliminated the wind noise. Quality product and worth the money. Great customer service. Order was shipped promptly.
Worked great on my Subaru. The original item was lost in shipment, but the customer service folks took quick action to send me another. It arrived promptly. It was very easy to install and has drastically cut down on the wind noise from my roof rack (I had the round bars).

Yakima Same Key System (SKS) Lock Cores (QTY 4)
These lock cores worked perfectly for my Yakima kayak rack. I can use the same key for all the locks and I feel much more secure knowing that someone can't steal my expensive rooftop car rack. So, 5 stars!
Simple instructions, easy install, much more service than lockless. I only wish you can request a specific key code like you can on the single cylinders. It would be nice to have my Toploader keyed to the same lock.

Yakima WindShield Fairing for Roof Racks - 46" Long
I have a 10th gen Civic sedan and I was dying to get the perfect roof rack set for my car. At the time of my purchase there was not many visuals of what the rack system looked like on this car. I purchased the: •Yakima 50in Jetstream crossbars •Yakima baseline towers •bc182 & bc183 clips •Yakima 46in fairing Overall I love how it looks on my car! During This COVID pandemic I have been camping more, and this is the perfect foundation! First off, the 46in fairing is the perfect fit for the 10th gen civic! Wind noise is low also with the help of the aerodynamic crossbars. My main concern was the fuel efficiency. On long road trips I still average 38-40 mpg with the rack on. My daily commutes I average 34 mpg without Econ on.
This was the only fairing I could find to fit the OEM bars on my MK 6 Volkswagen Jetta. Installation was easy and the wind noises are gone

Yakima WindShield Fairing for Roof Racks - 34" Long
Well I wanted for this wind fairing to work out, but it did not. The middle of it didn't actually make contact with my car because of it's (poor) design in my opinion. To be fair, I drive 100 highway miles a day to and from home/work at an average speed of 65 mph. Unfortunately because there was no contact with the center fairing and the car and the fairing vibrated horribly (yes it was tightened as tight as it would go) at speeds over 60 mph and it reduced my gas mileage by 2-3 mpg. Unfortunately this only lasted 2 days for me and I removed it from my car. I have yakima towers and yakima HD bars on my stock Subaru rails. I would not recommend this fairing if you do a lot of highway driving unless you don't care about fuel mileage or hearing what sounds like a snare drum being played on your roof.
Great customer service. Thanks

Inno Fairing for Roof Racks - 40" Long - Black
After researching various universal-fit fairings, reading reviews, checking all the specs on eTrailer, etc., I decided the Inno 40" (medium) Fairing was the best fit for my car. I have a 2009 Mazda 3 Sport, with a Rola roof rack mounted to factory holes. The rack arrived sooner than expected, and came partially assembled, (the feet were already attached). The remaining assembly was straight forward, and installation only took a couple of minutes. The fit is near perfect, as seen in the attached pictures. There is a noticable reduction in wind noise, though it's still there at highway speeds with the moon roof open, as to be expected. There's very little wind noise if the moon roof is just tilted. It's too early to comment on any changes to gas mileage, but I purchased this mostly as a visual mod so better gas mileage and reduced wind noise are bonuses. I would recommend this fairing to anyone looking for one, and would also recommmed eTrailer, as the entire purchase process was excellent!
Would've preferred stiffer packaging, but it was delivered undamaged. Clear instructions made it easy to install the hardware. Fit nicely on my Marone AirFlow 2 crossbars with about 1/8" gap between my raised roof rails on each end. The Inno fairing is high quality and would recommend it to anyone. Very satisfied with the purchase.

SeaSucker Roof Rack Review - 2014 Mini Cooper
Today on our 2014 Mini Cooper we're going to take a look at our SeaSucker Monkey Bar Roof Rack System. Now this would be a good choice for you if you're not wanting to make any permanent modifications, or say even if you have multiple vehicles in the house that you would like to use it with. It doesn't use any special parts for different vehicles. So what you see is what you get and that's everything you're going to need. Now here in a moment I'll show you how to install our system here, but first I'd like to take a minute to kind of touch base on some of the features it has really quick. As you can see, our crossbars are held in place with our vacuum cups here. They're made to have a softer finish to them.
Thule Traverse Roof Rack Installation - 2005 Mini Cooper
Today on our 2005 Mini Cooper we're going to be test fitting the Thule Traverse roof rack system using the 50" square bars and the Thule short roof adapter kit. Part numbers THLB50, TH480R, THKIT1366, and TH487. To begin our test fit we're going to open the front doors of our Cooper. We'll then grab the front half of our roof rack. We're going to place it onto the front roof line. Per Thule's fit guide we're going to measure 4-3/4" from the top right edge of the passenger side window back to the leading edge of the foot pack. We'll do this measurement on both sides to be sure we have our feet in line with each other. With our measurements done we'll take the supplied tool and tighten down a little bit at a time going from side to side to secure this portion of our rack.
2004 Mini Cooper Yakima RidgeLine Roof Rack for Flush Rails: Complete Installation
Today on our 2004 Mini Cooper we'll be test fitting the Yakima Round Bar Roof Racking System part numbers y00408, y00683, y00716, and y00124. Now with our Q towers already assembled to our crossbars we'll first start off by locating the slots on the vehicle. We have found that it is easier to insert the Q clips into the hidden slots before installing the bars onto the vehicle. We'll locate the slot using a thin piece of plastic or a credit card. After locating the slot from the measurements Yakima provides we'll slide the Q clip into the hidden slots. Remember that there are two different sets of Q clips.
