Today on 2015 Mazda 5 we're going to be taking a look at the Inno Multi Fork Roof Mounted Bike Rack, part number INA392. As you can see we already have a bike loaded up on our Inno Multi Fork, so you can an idea what it would look like with your bike. To start off we'll go over how it attaches to our rack. At the back you'll have this strap, it secures into the bracket right here, and release with the button. It also has a button on the other side, so if you've got a bike with taller wheels you can adjust it so that it sits a little higher. I don't if it's by design, or it just is a happy accident, but there's a hole on this side of the strap, and then a little notch on the other, so you can pull it down like that, which I think is kind of cool, it's kind of nice. It gives you a nice grip around the strap so you can get it on there pretty tight.

Today on 2015 Mazda 5 we're going to be taking a look at the Inno Fork Lock 3, Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number INA391. As you can see we already have a bike loaded up onto to our carrier, so we can an idea of what it would like with your bike up. I'm going to open up the door here so I can step up and show you some of the features of our bike rack, how it all attaches. At the back we've got a strap and it is secured by this little lever here. There's also a lever on the other side, so if you have a taller wheel, like a fat tire, or any of your mountain bikes, it can still accommodate that larger wheel size. It only comes out on this side though, there's a little stop on the other side of the strap so won't come out that other way. On the front we'll have a lock, and this will attach into our cover so that it keeps all our housing up here at the front secure. Our bike is secured by this skewer.

Today on our 2015 Mazda Five, we're going to be taking a look at the SportRack Downshift Roof Mounted Bike Rack. Part number SR4623. As you can see we have a bike loaded up on our rack just so you can get an idea of what it would look like with your bike up there. To start off I'm going to just open up the door so I can still get up and show you what's going on. At the back we're going to have just a simple strap with a buckle that will keep our back wheel in place. Just like any strap, it's just going to come up, go back through itself. This also sits with a little cradle that'll butt up against the back of your bike to keep it from moving front to back.

Today on our 2015 Mazda 5 we're going to be doing a test fit of the Rhino-Rack Road Warrior rooftop-mounted bike rack for forward-mounting your bikes to the top of your vehicle. As you can see we've already gotten our bike up here so you can see how it's going to look and how it's going to fit. This is going to be part number RBC036. Let's go ahead and show you how the bike comes off since you've seen how it looks when it's up on the vehicle. First we'll start off by removing the rear-wheel safety strap. Now it's always good to make sure that you have close to an even amount of distance between your spokes so when you pass through your strap you don't damage your wheels. Press in the button and push it out until you can grab a good fingerhold on it and you can pull it out the rest of the way.

On the back side here, you're going to have a rear wheel safety strap. It's always good to make sure that you have an even amount of space between your spokes so when you remove the strap or place the strap through that you don't damage your wheels.

Today on our 2013 Mazda5 we're going to be test fitting the Yakima FrontLoader, a wheel mount roof bike rack, part number Y02103. With our Yakima Control Towers Roof Rack System already installed on the 5, we'll begin our test fit by placing our bike rack directly onto our crossbars. Here at the front, the two outside portions of our clamp will be located in front of our crossbar, while the center portion of our clamp will be located behind. We'll then tighten the black t-handle located on the front to secure the clamp around our bar. With this secure, we can move to the rear. Here we'll loosen the black t-handle, remove the t-bolt from the lower portion of the clamp, bring that portion around the underside of our crossbar, reinsert the t-bolt into the appropriate slot, and tighten down the t-handle. With both front and rear secure, we're now ready to load up our bike. We'll begin by undoing our rear wheel strap, and also extending the larger portion of our front wheel clamp.

Fit Test: Yakima ForkLift Roof Mounted Bike Carrier on a 2013 Mazda 5

Today on our 2013 Mazda5 we're going to be test fitting the Yakima ForkLift, a fork mount roof bike rack, part number Y02098. With our Yakima Control Towers Roof Rack System already installed on the 5, we'll begin our test fit by placing our bike rack directly onto our crossbars. Here at the front we're going to remove the skewer, slide back the black cover, and loosen the black t-bolt. This will allow us to separate our clamp. We'll then bring the lower portion of our clamp around the underside of our load bar, reinsert the t-bolt in the appropriate slot, and tighten down the black t-handle to secure it. We'll then slide our black cover forward and reinsert our skewer. Here at the rear we're going to loosen the black t-handle and separate our clamp by removing the t-bolt.

Thule Big Mouth Roof Bike Rack Review - 2013 Mazda 5

Today on our 2013 Mazda 5 were going to be test fitting the Thule Big Mouth, a frame clamp roof bike rack, with part number TH599XTR. With our Thule Podium roof rack system already installed on the 5, well begin our test fit by placing our bike rack directly onto our load bars. Here at the front well separate the T-bolts from the lower section of our clamp, bring them around our front crossbar, reinsert the T-bolt, and then tighten the black wing nuts located on top to secure both front clamps around our load bar. With the front secure, well move to the rear. Here were going to completely remove one of the wing nuts from our clamp, bring one of the threaded portions of our clamp down on both sides of our load bar, reinsert the plate on the bottom, then thread on our wing nut. Well then tighten down both wing nuts to secure our rear clamp. With our rack secured to our vehicle, were now ready to load up our bike. Well begin by undoing our wheel straps and pulling down on the large black lever located on our frame clamp. Well then grab our bike, place it onto the bike rack.

Well bring the black rubber coated metal straps around the underside for both of our clamps. Then we want to fit it into the foot of our carrier there.

Today on our 2013 Mazda 5, we're going to be test fitting the Swagman Upright roof bike rack. It's part number S64720. With our Thule Rapid Podium roof rack system already installed on our 5, we'll begin our test fit by placing our bike rack directly onto our load bars here. At the front, we're going to bring one of our U bolts around the underside of our load bar, up through our carrier, and we'll thread on 2 wing nuts loosely for now just to hold it in place. We'll then take a second U bolt on the other side here on the head of our carrier, and thread 2 wing nuts onto it as well. We'll then tighten down all 4 of our wing nuts to secure the front of our rack to our vehicle. With the front secure, we can move to the rear.

Set up: Swagman Fork Down Roof Mounted Bike Carrier on a 2013 Mazda 5

Today on our 2013 mazda 5 we're going to be testing the Swagman Fork Down Roof Mounted Bike Rack, part number S64710. With our thule rapid podium roof rack system already installed on the Mazda, we'll begin our test fit by placing our bike rack up unto our load bars. Here at the front we'll bring one of the u-bolts around the underside of our load bar, we'll fit it up through the head of her carrier and then we'll thread 2 wingnuts on it, just a hole in place temporarily for now. We'll then take a second you u-bolt, and 2 more wingnuts and fit those into the other side of our carrier here in the front. We'll then tighten down all 4 of our wingnuts to secure the front portion of our rack here. Alright, with the front nice and tight we can move to the rear, here instead of coming around the under and up through, we'll take our u-bolt, we're going to place it down through the rack, as we do this we'll want to make sure that we've got a threaded portion coming out in front of and behind our load bar.

SportRack Roof Mounted Bike Rack Review - 2013 Mazda 5

Today on our 2013 Mazda5 we're going to be testing the SportRack Roof Mounted Bike Rack. It's part number SR4622. We've got our Thule Rapid Podium Roof Rack system already installed on our Mazda. Today on our 2013 Mazda 5, we're going to be test fitting the RockyMounts Tierod Stretch, a roof-mounted bike rack, part number RKY1011. With our Thule Rapid Podium roof rack system already installed on our Mazda, we'll begin our test fit by placing our bike rack onto our load bars. As we do this, we'll want to bring the black rubber-coated metal straps around the underside. We'll then remove the black cover here on the top, and fit our 2 straps into the head of the carrier here. We'll then need to tighten up this bolt. To do that, of course, we use an Allen key. Today on our 2013 Mazda 5, we're going to be test-fitting the Kuat Trio, a roof-mounted bike rack, part number RU01. We've got our Thule Rapid Podium roof rack system already installed on the Mazda, so we'll begin our test fit by simply placing our bike rack on top of our load bars. We'll bring one of the black rubber-coated metal u-bolts around the underside of our load bar. Fit it up into the head of our carrier. We'll then thread on two of our cylinder nuts; you want to be sure that the threaded end is pointing down and not the hex end. With both of those threaded, we'll take our second u-bolt and we'll just repeat that same process. We'll now take our provided allen tool and tighten those down to secure our rack to our vehicle.

Today on our 2012 Mazda 5 we're gonna be test fitting Yakima RidgeBack two-bike hanging-style rack for 1 1/4 inch and 2 inch hitches. This part number is Y02457.It's a great accessory for your vehicle, it's gonna allow you to haul up to two bikes, wherever you might be going on your trip or to the trails. You can see we have a bike installed, let's take a close look and show off some of the features.Now at the ends of the arms we are gonna have bottle openers on the ends. Yakima likes to put that on all their products. Right here we're gonna have this nice rubber TPE padding, and as you see these little notches that are coming up from the rubber, those are gonna act as shock absorbers for the frame of our bike. It's gonna just help protect it from any type of scratches or abrasions.We have three different points that, where the bike rack is securing our bike with just three Zipstrips, we have two on the top of our frame right here, forcing it down onto the cradle.

With a Thule Aeroblade Podium roof rack system on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing our bike rack directly onto our load bars. Here at the front we'll bring our straps around our front bar and remove our black plastic cover. We can then fit our straps into the head of the carrier. We'll use an Allen key to tighten down the Allen bolt which will secure our straps around our front bar. Once we have those tight, we can replace our black plastic cover. Here at the rear we'll loosen up one of the Allen bolts of our clamp so we can bring out rear clamp around our rear bar.

Today on our 2012 Mazda 5, we'll be test fitting the Thule Big Mouth Roof Mounted Bike Rack, part number TH599XTR. With the Thule Square Bar Roof Rack System on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the Thule Big Mouth Bike Rack directly onto our load bars. Here at the front, we'll bring our clamps around our front bar fitting the T bolts through the appropriate slots and tightening them down by using the wing nuts on top. Once we have both sides tightened at the front, we can thenmove to the rear. Here at the rear, we'll bring the clamp around the rear bar, making sure that we have a bolt sitting on each side of our rear bar. We'll take the black metal plate, fit the bolts through it and secure it by tightening down the 2 wing nuts. Now we can go ahead and undo the 2 wheel straps and make sure our frame draws are open.

Today on our 2012 Mazda5 we'll be test fitting the Swagman Fork Down Roof Mounted Bike Rack, part number S64710. With the Thule Arrow Blade Podium Roof Rack System on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing our bike rack directly onto our load bars. Here at the front platform, we'll bring our U-bolt around the underside of our load bar, fitting it back up through our front platform. We'll secure it by installing two wing nuts. We'll do this process for the other side as well. Here at the rear, we'll drop our U-bolt from the top of the bike rack, making sure the bolts go around each side of our rear load bar, and then we'll install our black, metal bracket.

Today on our 2007 Mazda 5, we're going to be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Trail Rider 2-bike rack for 1-1/4" and 2" hitches, part number HR200. We already have a bike installed on the rack, let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. How the bike is actually attached to the rack, we're going to have three points of contact. We're going to have this padded frame hook up at the top and it's padded to make sure your bike doesn't get scratched up once it's being installed. We also have two hook and loop straps on both wheels and the wheel cradles themselves are adjustable by loosening and tightening these knobs. They do that so they can accommodate different size bikes, but also to assist with loading. It has a nice raised shank to it, so even if your hitch sits low to the ground you're not going to have any clearance issues between your bike rack and the ground.
