Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
I was sent additional mounting materials that don't correspond with my hitch or my bike rack. See the photo below. Are these materials for my Swagman STC2 Bike Rack Item #S64670?
Very stable and simple to use bike rack that works great with my road bike AND with my 29" Big Rippers. It makes loading and unloading the bikes a snap and they are safe and secure for traveling once loaded and secured. I have already logged over a thousand miles hauling bicycles with this rack and highly recommend it. I am a big fan of Yakima roof racks but, honestly, wish I would have went with this setup for my bikes from the beginning.

Swagman XC2 Bike Rack for 2 bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
This is a well designed rack. Adding and removing bikes is quick & easy. Just set the bike on & slide the padded hook down onto the bike frame to secure it; no straps required. If only one bike is transported, it does not interfere with opening the trunk on our Tesla Model 3. With 2 bicycles the trunk cannot be opened. For 2 bikes the Swagman model that can tilt might be worth the extra 22 bucks. This rack uses a bolt in the receiver hitch instead of a pin. This locks it securely preventing it from moving in the hitch & rattling. It also requires a wrench to remove it, good for theft prevention but one more thing to keep track of. For storage on the vehicle the top bar folds down. For storage in the garage, the left & right bars fold up & you can hang it using one of the hooks.
So far so good. The rack wiggles a bit, but that is expected. I have it on my 2007 Corolla and I have hit 65+ on the highway with it and have not had a problem. I would recommend getting a locking pin. The one included is threaded, which aside from security, makes it harder to take the rack on and off. I would also look into a DIY way to secure the wheels better. I am using some bungee straps which do the job no problem. The two bikes I carry are at the racks capacity.

Thule Passage Trunk Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - Hanging Style
The Thule Passage Trunk Bike Rake for 2 bikes is a good product. I used it to transport my mountain e-bike. I choose this particular unit because it can handle the weight 2 of bikes (non-e-bikes) and the weight of my e-bike is equivalent to weight of 2 bikes. Note: Must readjust the straps after mounting the bike to the rake.
great! works really well, and a lot easier to attach than I anticipated. We drove with bikes across the country from south west all the way to North east. solid rack!

Thule Passage 3 Bike Carrier - Trunk Mount
Way too light duty for what is advertised. It seemed to be made out of 1/2 inch electrical conduit. I would never put three bikes on that rack. I only had two bikes on the rack. While on trip through Idaho the wind was so strong that one of the bikes partially blew off the rack. We traveled 1,800 miles and upon arriving home I actually sawed the bike rack up and threw it away so that no one else would use it and cause an accident. I've already found a different brand that is HEAVY DUTY and I will stick with that brand.
This is definitely more of a 2 bike carrier vs 3 bikes. I had to take the front wheels off two bikes to get three bikes on this carrier. Also, it rubbed the paint off on the trunk of my Subaru legacy.

Hollywood Racks SR1 2-Bike Carrier - Spare Tire Mount
This HRSR1 bike carrier will not fit a 2023 Jeep Wrangler JL UNLESS you remove the stock Liddy Light and associated bracket. Upon discovering this, I was able to locate an aftermarket kit which allows for the relocation of the light to just above the rear camera. The kit was easily installed and the bike mount was installed just as easily as the directions explain. The new location of the light is partially obscured with the bikes mounted and, although not ideal, it is adequate and certainly better than total removal. I was unable to find any mention of this situation in the install instructions or reviews prior to purchase of the rack. I just wish I had been aware of this before purchase. I would have rated 5 stars for this product were it not for the slight hiccup. Kudos to etrailer. It is always a pleasure to do business with them. They are very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.
It's sturdy even off-road, and it's simple to take on and off. I've had to use my spare tire twice since owning this rack, and although I have to remove my bike and loosen the bike rack bolts a bit, it comes off and goes back on with minimal effort, which is nice when you're on the Alaska Highway and it's snowing. I've carried my full-suspension bike on this rack for 35k miles all over the U.S. and Canada. I like how my bike fits close to the tire, where I lock it. My tailgate opens without the bike touching the side of my Jeep. Great bang for the buck.

Swagman XTC4 Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
Rack is very sturdy and heavy duty. Instructions were terrible. Locking hitch pin would not thread correctly and ended up damaging it. Thankfully the threads on rack were fine and I was able to use the non-locking threaded pin. Would like a replacement locking pin ASAP
For the price, it's a good-quality, sturdy bike rack. I have used it about 5-7 times with no issues. I only used it for one adult and two kids' bikes, but I am sure it can handle four bikes as advertised. It's great that the rack folds upwards when it's not required.
# 7
Swagman Chinook Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
Works for my fat tire bike. Once it's set up, it's easy to install and remove. I had to cut out some of the plastic cladding on the underside of my bumper on my 2014 Subaru Outback. Good value. I've had no issues.
GI love the Rack, it is easy for me to handle, (as a 89 yearold rider.), two bikes ride and fit very nicely. Like how it folds down, and how it folds to open the tailgate . Great quality for the money, I would highly recommend this rack
# 8
Swagman Upright Bike Rack for 1 Bike - Roof Rack Crossbars - Frame Mount
Great product for the price. Pretty easy to set up. Only issue I have is my mountain bike, which is an XL frame with 27 inch wheels, is pushing the limits of the base. Wish this rack was just 4-5 inches longer that way you have the perfect overlap amount in the middle without pushing the current frame to the limits. With that said it does hold my bike just have to find the sweet spot. But this fits my son’s youth bike perfectly!
As always with products I buy from e-Trailer, this item is exactly as advertised and works perfectly. Easy assembly, I bought 2 but only installed one until I check the fit with my rooftop carrier.

Swagman Trailhead Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting
This is a very solid product! I have used it for over a year now and love it! I have had up to 3 bikes on this without a problem and have traveled over 8 hours in the car one way with absolutely no issues. Many other bike racks like this one that I see on other cars look unstable this is not unstable in anyway. I did have to file some of the paint off of the rack to get it to fit in my 1 and 1/4" hitch but once that was done it has been perfect. I also bought the locking hitch bolt which is awesome too.
Well built and good quality. So glad I can haul bikes easier with our Honda Pilot now!

Now there's gonna be a great option for you if you're looking for something that's affordable, something that you can take out with your family and go for a ride. So let's take a closer look at it. The way it sits up here is gonna have three points of contact. We're gonna have a strap per tire and we're gonna have this strap and pad that connect to the frame. Since it is making frame contact, I wouldn't recommend any carbon frame bikes, but we do have the pad that does adjust and can rotate.
Set up: Swagman XTC2 TILT Bike Rack for 2 Bikes on a 2023 Kia Sportage
How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the Swagman XTC2 Tilt bike carrier on our 2023 Kia Sportage. So the XTC is a frame-mounted bike carrier, and this also would. I would consider it to be an entry-level carrier. This is going to basically attach at the frame and your wheels to secure your bike to the frame. If you have a nicer paint job or if you have a bike that carbon fiber, that downward force wouldn't be ideal or a step-through bike, that could also cause issues as far as how you can secure it. You may wanna look towards other options.

Hi, everyone. Aiden here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks' Destination two-bike rack and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2023 Kia Sportage. This is gonna be a pretty entry level hitch-mounted bike rack, and this is going to be a platform-style bike rack, which means the bike sits on top of the rack. That is my preferred way to carry a bike just because it's generally a little bit more accommodating. And the Destination, although it is a more entry-level option, is one of my personal favorites.
Installation Guide for the Swagman XC2 Bike Rack for 2 bikes on a 2023 Kia Sportage
Hi, Matt with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be talking about the Swagman XC2 Bike Rack for two bikes on the 2023 Kia Sportage. Now, I'd recommend this to anyone who's kinda getting into biking. This is a very entry-level platform style bike rack, maybe it's just you and a friend who go out, but I'd definitely recommend it to the beginners. Install: Thule Helium Bike Rack for 2 Bikes on a 2020 Kia Sportage
Rob: Everybody it's Rob here at etrailer.com. They we're to be taking a look at the Thule Helium 2 Bike Platform Style Rack, on our 2020 Kia Sportage. Now, I really like this rack mainly because it doesn't have any frame contact. So if you have a road bike with the carbon frame, like we have here, you definitely don't want a rack that does have any frame contact because it does put that extra stress on the frame. But it's still going to work out great for a lot of different styles of bikes as well. You can see that we're going to have two wheel hooks that's going to hold our bikes securely down into the trays that they're sitting on.
Set up: Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack for 4 Bikes on a 2020 Kia Sportage
Rob: Hi everybody, it's Rob here at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks SE4 Bike Platform Style Rack on our 2020 Kia Sportage. Now, I really like the Hollywood Racks, mainly because of how versatile this rack is. It's going to allow us to carry up to four bikes, to and from the trail, and we don't have to worry about putting the bikes inside of our Sportage, or if you're like me, I don't really like the idea of a roof-mounted bike rack, just because I don't want to have to lift my bike that high and get that close to my car. So having a hitch-mounted bike rack is going to make it easier, and the fact that we can carry four is really nice. Now I know one of the big things that a lot of people wonder about with platform-style racks and all the other kinds of racks that are out there is, can you get access to the back hatch Because that's pretty important. We don't want to unload all of these bikes just to get something, and we can get in the back hatch.

An interesting way how they work is they are a molded design. It's going to make them really easy to use compared to other straps.

I've already got it loaded up on the Sportage with the bike loaded on the bike rack just to give you a good idea of what it looks like and how it's going to hold our bikes.Right away, one of my favorite things about this bike rack is that it is fat bike ready right out of the box. It'll hold fat bikes with a tire width up to 5" wide. One of the other things I like is how it holds our bikes. The clamp design will hold our bikes by their top tube, their down tube, or their seat post tube, so that's a really nice feature.

That's gonna be this rear wheel strap, which is adjustable to accommodate different size bikes, and this front skewer mount, which is gonna grip it by your fork mounts on your bike. This is lockable, so once this is installed, this will be secured to your bike rack as well. With everything installed as it is, we're not gonna have any issues of clearance between our rear hatch and the bike rack itself, as you can see here.

One great thing about this rack compared to others is that that handle is at the very back instead of towards the middle where you have to reach through your bikes. In this position, we'll check our hatch here.
