Reese 60x24 Hitch Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - 500 lbs Capacity - Glossy Black
My 9 year old and I were able to assemble and install this in about an hour. The anti rattle bolt recommended in the video, and the lights, were great additions and I definitely recommend them too. Handled a 900 mile round trip around the northeast and had plenty of room to bring Xmas presents home in the Curt waterproof cargo bag.
This is a solid Cargo carrier. I was originally looking for a rooftop carrier but I came to realize that a cargo carrier is a far superior option for increased weight and size, ease of access, stability and aerodynamic. Although this one doesn't fold up, there is still adequate space to access the rear hatch on my SUV.

19x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Aluminum - Folding - 500 lbs
I use this on my 2022 F250, when hauling my cab over. I was able to remove the folding part and attach it straight to my hitch to get it closer to the back of the truck. It’s light weight, decently sturdy, and easy to assemble.
This thing was not fun to put together. At all. But I got fair warning about it from the reviews. I suggest a 17mm socket bit and a drill. Plan on taking it apart a couple times so don't cinch it down tight at first. Once it is put together it's a solid unit. It'll be nice for our camping trips. The light bulky stuff that took up precious real estate can now ride outside.

17x46 Curt Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
Once it was together, I really liked it. It wasn’t that easy to put together and it required metric tools which I had to search for. It worked well and it was very useful.
Great little rack that does it's job. 4/5 due to two factors, one being its maximum 150lbs rating & two for being positioned DIRECTLY behind the stock exhaust on the 2017 Fiesta ST. We used this to driving across the country (Seattle, WA > Norfolk, VA) and it worked great, after wrapping our suitcase that was directly behind the exhaust in some heat resistant insulation. It did Melt the canvas tarp slightly but after the insulation, the suitcase was fine. Definitely was a lifesaver for space, with three adults, a chihuahua and 17lb cat being in the car for 45 hours, over the span of 5 days.

Curt 60x24 Hitch Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - 500 lbs Capacity - Matte Black
Great cargo rack! Well made and strong. We modified ours to carry our ebikes on top of our generator and cooler. We've been from coast to coast with no problems.
Used it a hand full of times for camping with two different SUVs and its been great. Once over 2000 miles round trip. With the waterproof bag you can hold more gear since it goes above the side rails. Just be careful if your driveway slopes down you’ll lightly scrape the ground when backing out. And if you have a smaller suv or car make sure you center the heaviest items or it will feel it pulling back and forth on the freeway.

24x60 etrailer Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Tilting - Folding - 500 lbs
I love this unit! I’m an avid Camper and Jeeper. My rig has big tires including the spare that requires additional clearance. In addition to hauling my gear, I had concerns about ground clearance off roading and stability. This unit exceeded my expectations on every point! I can even open the tailgate with the unit on and it still has enough clearance to fold up when not loaded. In addition to a great product, the order was confirmed and shipped same day and on my doorstep two days later. It was pretty easy to put together but having a second person to help and fit it on the first time is helpful. Great product!
Easy assembly. Took about 15 minutes. Includes everything needed, even 2 wrench tools! Feels sturdy and well made. Feels just like our other one( curt brand)

Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket - 41-1/2" Long x 37" Wide x 4" Deep - 150 lbs
I recently purchased Curt Roof Rack and Curt Roof Cargo Basket from Etrailer for my 2024 Toyota 4Runner TRD Sport and the product was excellent, easy to install and Etrailer rep Mr. Mike B having great experiences and very helpful with the products. Thank you!
The reason I bought this basket is due to gas prices. I have a 4X4 suburban I use for camping and hunting but it takes a small loan to fill up the tank. Actually this basket cost less than it does to fill it up. So my thought was if i can get all my gear on my daily driver then i could save some money and maybe even sale the burb. So i gave it a shot last weekend. The rack was easy to put together. I had it out of the box and on the roof in under 30 minutes. As you can see in the pic, i have a rather large ice chest, chain saw, 6 man tent, gas stove and my chair on the roof. My camping destination was about 3 hours away. First was a hour of highway driving at speeds around 70. No issues there. Then 2 hours of windy back roads. No issues there either. The basket made it possible for me and my two kids to load up in the car and head to the hills for three days. The plus for me was it only takes 50$ to fill up the car. :-) I had the max weight in this basket with no issues. I'm very happy with this basket.

Rhino-Rack Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket - 47" Long x 35" Wide - 165 lbs
the good: strong. lots of anchor points. secure once assembled. gaps between bars are small, stuff doesn't slip through and hit my roof. reasonably priced. mounts securely. on and off relatively easily. holds a good amount of cargo. weight limit is more than my roof can handle anyway. the bad: assembly is a pain and didn't fit exactly. small rust spots developing. heavy. plastic wind deflector cracked from a rock. lots of wind noise driving at high speeds. overall. i recommend this basket. had some assembly issues because the two pieces didn't fit into each other easily, one side is slightly off-center. wish the plastic wind deflector was metal instead. i've used it several times and have no real issues with it.
I purchased this for my daughter who has a very active lifestyle. She has driven cross country and goes camping with friends. She absolutely loves this roof rack. It was easy to mount and easy to load.

Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket - 64-1/2" Long x 37" Wide x 4" Tall - 150 lbs
Put this on an 2023 Rav 4 Hybrid- Easy to put together. You might need two people to get it up on top. Strong. Will create some wind noise after install. Solid build and construction.
I only use the roof rack for vacations because they make cars so small on the interior now a days. It handles quite a bit of luggage. Including two big size luggage and two small is how I travel. Make sure to get water proof covers and good straps. I stopped every 3 hours to make sure load was secure and drove over 700 miles without any issues. The rack will make whistle noise because of the wind passing through the bars but I just toned it out and blasted the radio . The product is great and sturdy easy on and easy off. My only complaint is putting on the wind guard. I couldn’t figure it out because the instructions have poor information on the wind plate. Also it took two deliveries to receive the product due to my first delivery being opened/ repackaged and missing parts like keys. I returned it and got the product in a new package with no more issues. Customer service was very helpful also and communication was well organized. Make sure to order well in advance just incase you might have to send the product back because of packaging issues. Also product is easy to store without disassembly of the rack rails. I put it in my garage and it takes up no space. I hope this review helps someone. Thank you

Thule Canyon XT Roof Cargo Basket - Steel - 49" x 40" x 6" - 150 lbs
I love this basket! Once I centered on cross braces, it was easy to leave the connectors in same spot. Also, low enough profile to drive in and out my garage. We have a screen door so that made it a shorter height than traditional garage door.
Excellent! Only issue regarding shipping box a bit battered - but product packed well. Also, hardware missing ie a single washer, which was replaced with one of my own.

GearDeck 17 Enclosed Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Slide Out - 17 cu ft - 420 lbs - Black
Perfect sized box for carry sized luggage and softball game day gear. Proven space saver. Receiver is showing signs of rust otherwise would be a ten. Would buy again.
Overall it's a great box. Love how much room it has and it's easy access. Slides out so van's rear doors open completely. Brake and turn lights improve visibility. Not waterproof but generally things stay dry. A couple of minor things: hole for lock was too close to the edge and pulled out so I drilled one on each front corner (more secure) - metal stays keep sliding out. I need to glue them in. I definitely would buy again.

Yakima MegaWarrior Large Roof Rack Cargo Basket - Steel - 52" Long x 48" Wide
The MegaWarrior is a great Roof Rack. The only thing I didn’t like was the fit to the roof rails. My rails that I purchased from you are shaped like aircraft wings and the basket clamps seem to be designed for round rails. However I was able to complete the attachment and the rack remained secure for a 2,000 mile trip.
Very well built quality products from Yakima.
# 13
Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket - Steel - 44" Long x 39" Wide
Well done Yakima and etrailer. Great product and great service. The product is well made (in Taiwan....not China) and the parts and instruction video made it relatively" easy to install. Two people helps to install it more readily. The wind diffuser in the front greatly reduces wind noise. All in all very happy and glad I bought through etrailer. Service was excellent and delivery prompt.
I am very happy with both the initial quality of the Load Warrior and how nice the eTrailer people are to deal with... The product seems well thought out and there are a bunch of accessories to mount most anything...

Yakima RocketBox Pro 14 Rooftop Cargo Box - 14 cu ft - Black
Perfect fit on my 2014 Jetta Sportwagen. Lets me accomodate my lighter weight camping gear and leave the heavier stuff in the car. Very secure and aerodynamic and had very little impact on my mileage. My only issue was I could never find the serial number on my rocketbox.
I've taken one 1500 mile trip so far with the Yakima RocketBox Pro 14 mounted on my RAV4. I found the box to be quiet and not to have much impact on gas mileage. I lost maybe 1 mpg with it mounted to my flush mounted Whisperbars. I drove through some very heavy rain and had a minimal amount of water inside under a thin rubber mat I had placed on the bottom of the box; none on my luggage got wet. This box works great to give me more carrying capacity when traveling with my two crated Dobermans.
A Closer Look at the Yakima EXO System Cargo Carrier and Enclosed Cargo Carrier - 2023 Kia Sorento
Hey, everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at our Yakima EXO system with some different accessories on the two-level carrier right here on our 2023 Kia Sorento. If you're not familiar with the EXO system, it's a pretty interesting hitch-mounted carrier, and this allows you to mix and match things for a modular experience. If you wanna carry all your cargo one day and then switch it up to carry bikes the next day, you can do so. So if you're curious about all those different features, weight capacity, things like that, check out my full review right here on our website of this configuration. But today, what we are focusing on is the Sorento, and most importantly, we're gonna talk about weight capacity with this car, as well as clearances, both for the ground and for the vehicle.
Fit Test: Yakima SkinnyWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket on a 2023 Kia Sorento
Hi, Matt with Etrailer, and today we're talking about the Yakima SkinnyWarrior roof basket on top of our 2023 Kia Sorrento. Now, this would be a great option for you for a few reasons. If you're looking for something that's gonna be better for hauling those longer items, or if you and your family are out on a trip and using all three rows of seating, you're not gonna have a whole lot of cargo space, so putting that extra luggage on top of your vehicle is gonna be the ideal solution for you, especially if your hitch is already being used by other accessories. So let's check it out. So this carrier is gonna have a maximum capacity of carrying up to 165 pounds. It is important you check what your roof and your roof rack are capable of carrying, so you don't overload anything.
Will the Flint Hill Goods 19" x 53" Cargo Carrier Fit Your 2023 Kia Sorento?
Hi, I'm Matt with etrailer, and today we're talking about the Flint Hill Goods Steel Hitch Cargo Carrier on the back of our 2023 Kia Sorento. Now this is gonna be a really good option if you plan on taking a trip with your family and you're using all three rows of seating, but you need somewhere else to store your extra luggage. You'll be able to do this because if you try to store anything in the back, you'll be able to get a few things back here, but I don't think you'll be able to get all your luggage. So if you need a little bit more, this'll help you out with that. Or if you have anything that has a lot of spillage, anything like concrete or mulch and you don't want that inside your vehicle, then it's also gonna help keep it out too. So let's check it out.
Test Fit: Flint Hill Goods 22" x 49" Cargo Carrier on a 2023 Kia Sorento
Hi, Matt with etrailer, and today, we're talking about the Flint Hill Goods aluminum hitch cargo carrier on the back of our 2023 Kia Sorento. Now this can be a great option for you, especially if you and your family plan on taking any trips, and your third row's already being taken up by other people, and you just need some additional storage because if I open up our hatch, you can really see that we're very limited on space back here anyways. So if you just need a little bit more, this is gonna grant you that. And if you are hauling anything that has a lot of spillage or is pretty dirty, and you don't want that getting inside your vehicle, this is gonna be a great solution for that too. So let's check it out. So this is gonna be made out of aluminum, but it's still gonna have a 500 pound weight capacity.
Does the 24x60 etrailer Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches Suit Your 2023 Kia Sorento
Hi, I'm Matt with etrailer, and today we're talking about the etrailer Folding Hitch Cargo Carrier on the back of our 2023 Kia Sorento. Now this will be a great option for you, especially for the Sorento, since we have three rows of seating. And if all those rows of seating are taken up, as you can see, we don't have a whole lot of space back here to store any of our luggage, especially if you plan on taking a big trip. So a great alternative is gonna be a hitch cargo carrier, especially the one we have today because it is pretty large and it can carry a lot. So let's check it out. So this is gonna be able to carry up to 500 pounds and it's gonna be very sturdy, made out of a very strong steel.

And if you all have a bunch of luggage that you can see back here, we don't have a whole lot of space, you might be able to put a bag or two, but you're gonna get maxed out pretty quick. (door slams) Or if you want to use this for any items that have a lot of spillage or anything that's really dirty that you don't want getting into your vehicle, anything like molds or concrete, this is gonna be the solution for you. So let's check it out. So this is a pretty big carrier, and it's gonna have a weight capacity of up to 500 pounds.
Set up: Flint Hill Goods 22" x 49" Hitch Mounted Aluminum Cargo Carrier on a 2023 Kia Sorento
Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2023 Kia Sorento, we're going to be checking out the Flint Hill Goods Aluminum Cargo Carrier. First impressions, I think it looks pretty good actually on the back of the Sorento. You know, this is a mid-size carrier, and being that the Sorento is a mid-size SUV, kind of just makes sense you know, it doesn't look funny or way too big or too small. It's going to be a decent enough size to carry around quite a bit of extra stuff. So, if you're going on that vacation or that road trip, you need a little extra breathing room on the inside, you know, you can take some of your stuff, pile it up out here, or it'll even, you know, these come in handy whenever you carry stuff you don't really want to put inside your car, you know, coolers, you know, you're doing stuff around the house, maybe getting some bags of mulch, things like that.
A Closer Look at the 24x60 etrailer Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches on a 2022 Kia Sorento
How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the etrailer Steel Hitch-mounted Cargo basket on a 2022 Kia Sorento. Adding a cargo basket to your Sorento is gonna help you solve the issue of not really having a lot of cargo space, especially if you have the third role model like the one we're looking at here. When your third row is up, you practically have about a foot and a half of cargo space, so this is gonna help resolve that by getting those bigger, bulkier items out on the road with you for your journey. Our basket is constructed of powder coated steel that's gonna help protect the basket against the elements out in the real world against abrasions and just road debris. Another real cool feature with this is you're gonna get real solid tie down points for your bungee cords or if you had a cargo net, that's another option to secure everything to your basket. You'll also take notice of the mesh floor, so that's gonna allow you to have those things that may be on wheels or things that are kind of smaller that won't fall through like you see on some of the other cargo baskets.

How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods Hitch Mounted Wheelchair Carrier on our 2022 Kia Sorento. What sets this carrier apart from other carriers is the fact that it has the included ramp. You can deploy the ramp by removing the safety pins and retaining arms, just by pulling and removing. When you first get your ramp, it's gonna be a little tight until it kind of, just due to the powder coat. And you're gonna just use that center arm here and pull out the ramp. And from there, you're able to deploy it upward.

How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Yakima 16 Cubic Foot SkyBox NX on our 2022 Kia Sorento. Adding a cargo box is the solution to the problem of how are you gonna be able to increase your cargo area if you have a full house on the inside of the vehicle. So if your Sorento has the third row like this model here, you know with that back row flipped up, you have practically no cargo area and this is gonna allow you to compensate for that, 'cause otherwise your roof would be bare and it doesn't have any space so you're making use of some useless area. The standout feature on the SkyBox NX is the nano finish that is scratch resistant and also pretty sharp looking on top of your vehicle. It's built to basically conceal any scratches or abrasions that may come up on the surface. The box itself is pretty large.

Now, as far as the distance from the bottom of the, well, sorry, the roof of the vehicle, the lowest point would be your U-bolt and your right at three inches.

Is the 17x50 Swagman Expanse Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches Compatible with the 2020 Kia Sorento?
Hi everyone, Aiden here at the trailer. Today, we're taking a look at the Swagman Expanse Cargo Carrier on our 2020 Kia Sorento. Cargo carrier is gonna be really nice for either hauling extra gear that you can't otherwise fit inside, or just having some messy, muddy gear out here that you don't want messing up the inside of your vehicle. It can keep that mess outside where it's a lot easier to clean up, you can spray it off with the hose and you're good to go. A couple things to think about with this is your weight capacity, it is gonna have a 400 pound weight capacity and a steel construction. The steel is black powder coated, which will help prevent rust and corrosion, but it's not totally rustproof.

Hi, everyone. Aidan here at etrailer. Today, we're taking a look at the etrailer folding and tilting Cargo Carrier on our 2020 Kia Sorento. A cargo carrier, and a hitch bound one at the back, is a great way to carry some extra gear with you that maybe can't fit inside the vehicle, or maybe it's messy stuff. Things like sports equipment, hiking gear, camping gear, stuff from the beach, or maybe mulch and soil from the hardware store that you don't want to potentially spill and make a mess inside your vehicle. If you can keep that stuff out here on a cargo carrier, keep the mess outside, and then when it's all unloaded, just spray it down with a hose and you're good to go.

Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at Etrailer and today we have the Reese cargo carrier that's 60 inches by 24 inches large. We're gonna take a look at how it fits on our 2019 Kia Sorento. Right off the bat, if you're looking for something to expand your cargo space on your Sorento, the Reese is probably one of the most popular cargo carriers here at Etrailer. That's because it creates all this space. You have five feet of length, you have a solid steel carrier, plus this fits into your two inch hitch very easily. The one downside I have for this carrier is you do have to get your own hitch pin and because it's a hitch pin, you are gonna have a bit of wobble.

We have four rubber coated steel straps that are gonna provide a nice, secure feature to our cargo basket. I'll show you how to install this last one real quick.
