Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2"
This hitch installed in a breeze on my old Turbo TJ Wrangler with all the fresh hardware included. The alignment was spot-on as well, which is always nice! The hitch fits snugly under the rear bumper and doesn't interfere with my exhaust outlet either. After a year of substantial use, this hitch is still performing 100%. Altogether, I couldn't be more satisfied!
The build quality of this hitch receiver is excellent -- wonderful fit and finish. It fit perfectly on my 2006 Jeep Wrangler, and the finishes all look very high quality. I put a 1up bike rack on the hitch receiver and have driven 3 bikes about 150 miles and had very little wiggling and jiggling. I am incredibly happy with the hitch and am an etrailer customer for life.

Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2"
The hitch arrived on time as expected and fit my jeep exactly as the directions and video detailed. I reused the bumper guards with the hitch. I have ordered numerous hitch's from etrailer and have been completely satisfied every time.
Very well made, excellent paint. Installation was fairly easy, had to install 4 nuts up inside bumper frame, a little challenging, but not impossible. Heavy duty hitch, looks good and should do the job for me.

Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2"
Installation was fast and easy. I used a car jack to keep it in place and installed it by myself. The toughest part was removing the existing bolts in the frame. The angle of the bolts on the passenger side are hard to work with if you want to use power tools, so get a ratchet-wrench if you don’t have one. It looks great on my Jeep, can’t wait to use it!
Product arrived promptly in great condition. Installation time was 15 minutes but I viewed the install video before I ordered the product. Hitch looks very nice, installs a snap, and I recommend it and etrailer.com highly.

I have had this hitch for over a year. I love it. I have a luggage rack attached to it and use it year-round. I find it so handy for extra storage with my Jeep Wrangler. I have no issues. The bolts are pretty rusty looking (I live in the north where roads are salted in the winter) so I recommend coating them with some kind of protection. My brother installed this for me. My vehicle was 20 years old at the time this was added.
fits great ez install

Amazing Quality
I watched your install video and then installed the hitch. It was pretty much just like the video. All the bolts lined up perfect! Didn’t even need to take little plate off, just pushed it back a little and slid the hitch in place. Easy -Peasy. That’s why I bought the E-trailer hitch, I wanted it to fit.

Additional pictures for my review. See other review submitted. review [Both the hitch and the wiring harness arrived with the packaging beaten up and gouged out . Also one of the mounting holes on the plate to attach the hitch does not match up with one of my holes on my Jeep. I have to drill it out to use the hole on the hitch mounting bracket.]
Fairly easy install. However holes don’t exactly line up. I was able to muscle most of them but one is about 1/4 inch off. See pic. I would return but taking it off would be a hassle and I don’t plan on hauling heavy trailers. A bit more wiggle room on the holes to accommodate for decades of metal expansion and changing shape would be nice. I strongly recommend you dry fit first and bore out holes that don’t line up. Especially the bottom 2 bolts. Quality seems good otherwise

#1. This receiver hitch fit perfectly. It slid on easily and the four holes matched up for the bolt installation. #2. eTrailer's customer service is top notch. I returned the Curt hitch without any push back from eTrailer because it didn't slide onto the rear crossbeam of my Jeep. I received the Draw-Tite in just a few days. I wouldn't hesitate doing business with this company in the future.
Excellent built hitch. Has a higher tongue weight rating than the Mopar hitch (Jeep JLU Sport S). Bolted right up to my Jeep, no need to drop the exhaust. Took probably 5 minutes to install. Instructions call for 18mm wrenches but the actual size required is 19mm, and there is enough room to get a ratchet in there, easily, despite the instructions indicating there isn't. Fast shipping from trailer and a fair price. Thanks!

Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2"
Purchased for my 2 door JL. The first 3 bolts fit perfectly but the 4th was a little too big so I ran down to Home Depot and picked up a 12mm which fit perfectly. Outside of that assembly was a breeze. Not need to remove muffler as stated in instructions. 10/10 would recommend.
Quality product, easy installation.

My trailer hitch tried to get out of the box during shipping. Luckily everything was still in the box when I received it.
This is my second etrailer hitch. I’m very happy with them. I did the install alone. Better to have a friend help. I was able to install it without having to lift it off the ground. It probably would have been easier if I had put it on jack stands. I’m not a mechanic, but I decent around tools. You don’t need to be an expert to install this.

Super fast shipping,Fit perfectly.Couldnt be any easier. 45 minute installation including the wiring harness. I highly recommend etrailer hitches.
I'm beginning by giving the hitch a stellar rating and, in the spirit of full disclosure, will state That I haven't even used it yet. In fact it has been only 2 hours since I installed it on my 2010 Chevy Express van. I intend to go to the DMV on Monday and get the tags for my trailer and later in the week will get my Hopkins wiring kit and on the following day will take it on a fishing trip. At that time I could write another review. I will say however I was very impressed with the quality and workmanship of the hitch itself. I have no doubt that it is strong enough to pull a far heavier load than my canoe and I also feel that premature rusting will not be a factor.

I have purchased 4 receivers for 4 different vehicles. They were all easy installations and that includes the lighting harnesses.
Hitch arrived in only three days. Instructions were great and easy to follow. Hitch installed with no problems. Highly recommend this hitch and company.

Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2"
Thought about paying to have this installed, but instead decided to invest in a torque wrench with money saved from doing it myself. The video estimated 60 minutes for a novice, and the instructions that came with the hitch said 90, so naturally, I figured it would take me 3 hours or so, which was pretty close (a little less, I think, but this doesn't include the time I spent getting the weld nuts in shape). The video was extremely helpful. My biggest problems were getting all the holes in the hitch to match up with the weld nuts in the bottom of my C-RV at the same time (had two sons helping me get it into place); getting a bolt or two started with the hitch in position; and using the torque wrench on one of the bolts above the muffler (the once closest to the front of the car) because of having next to no room to operate the wrench in (I could only turn the wrench a tiny bit at a time before running out of room for the wrench handle). Fortunately, I had cleaned out all the weld nuts (also a painstaking process; I almost gave up) before I even ordered the hitch, or who knows how long I would have been there. Without the videos, I may have never gotten this done by myself (may not have even attempted it), so I saved money and now have a torque wrench to boot!
Installed in about 40 minutes, as advertised. No jacks, no extra set of hands. The install video was spot on. Not much of a tool guy, so my standard socket set didn't include the required 17mm and 11/16 sockets. Quick trip to Lowe's. The only "con" - the hole for the hitch receiver pin is too close to the horizontal tube. My Yakima bike rack included an anti-rattle receiver bolt lock that hits the tube and prevented me from threading the bolt. Three options - order hitch #87440 instead. Use a standard pin. Or order a low profile threaded replacement bolt #Y8890200. I went with the latter. Works perfectly.

Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2"
Its been a year since installing the Hitch Receiver. Granted it nearly never rains here in Arizona but i use the hitch everyday and drive a dirt road so I end u reunning the truck through the car wash at least 4 x a week. The hitch stil looks and performs axactly the same as the day I installed it. Although its not recommended I managed to install mine by myself, with no lifs or jacks. It was a bit awkward but I had it installed in about 30 mins on my 2016 Jeep Patriot.
This hitch wasn't quite as easy to install as in the video without the car up on a rack. The video was helpful. The hitch requires some jockeying around to get both bolts to go in. I used a couple of jacks to make it happen. The brackets were a little narrow for my 2014 Jeep Compass so I used a few 1/8 inch washers on one side to avoid stressing the welds too much on tightening. In the end the install came out good and the hitch seems solid.

Great product! The hitch fit perfectly. The only issue was rusted, dirty weld nuts on the Equinox. Ran a tap through, no problems. Looks good and is tucked out of the way.
Quality product and super fast processing and shipping. Very impressed overall. With the help of the installation videos, I was able to do it myself in less than hour. And saved $200 doing it myself! Would definitely recommend etrailer.com to anyone.

Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2"
Bought the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Class III 2" hitch receiver for a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Quality is well built and was properly packaged for transportation. It took me approximately 15 mins to install (remove, tighten and torque 4 factory bolts). Delivery was spot on with the provided ETA. This will be the second time I order a hitch through eTrailer. eTrailer provided the lowest cost (product + shipping) compared to many others online. Will definitely shop and order with eTrailer again.
Just put this hitch on my wife’s 2017 Jeep grand Cherokee. I was able to get under the back and install this on my own. Pretty straightforward and didn’t have any difficulty. So far, we’ve only used it for bike rack. Will install light wire harness next. Overall, pleasant experience with etrailer.com

Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2"
Purchased the Curt C13119 hitch from etrailer for a new 2014 Honda CR-V after going over the wealth of product information available on the site that reassured that I'd be getting the right product. I have a Thule bike rack that we used on our previous car and 2" hitches are not available from Honda dealer installation. I'm not a big DIY guy so had our local shop install it. We only use it for a bike/ski rack, not towing, so I know I won't be overloading it. Also purchased the stabilizer strap for the rack (see photos bellow) as per Curt and Etrailer.com's recommendations to preserve warranty. It's not much extra effort to install and adds piece of mind that it's relieving some of the stress on the hitch. We got all this just days before going on a long trip to the Rocky Mountains. The hitch worked great with all four bikes on the rack!
Another great hitch. Shipping was on-time and the hitch was exactly what I ordered. Finish was even but there was slight damage probably in shipping but it looked like it was struck with a ball-peen hammer. A little filing and some spray paint and it was good to go. Instructions were clear and the cutting of the plastic body panel on the underside was much easier than I thought. Definitely measure and use a straight edge when cutting. Dremel with a rotary cutter worked great. Cutting the insulation was simple, really good shears made easy work of it. Prior to mounting run the bolts all the way in and out a few times to clear any debris from the threads you can't get with the brush. Getting the exhaust clear is a little challenging but manageable. I installed the hitch by myself and it went smoothly. Total time was about 90 minutes. I spent a lot of time on the measuring and also added a rubber barrier around the hole I cut. Very pleased with the fit and look of the finished hitch.

Curt tow hitch model#C13146 fit perfectly and was very easy to install within 30 minutes max.
The buying experience was great! You go on their website type in your vehicle and it will show you which hitches work for your vehicle! It was simple and easy to maneuver around the site. It gave some video instructions on how to install it. The hardware for mounting the hitch came with it. Amy was my customer advocate, she was great also… She was able to explain to me where the mounting bolts and washers might be since my hitch came without being in a box. I was able to fine them, but she had already check to see how fast she could get them to me if indeed they were missing!! Outstanding service

This is the third hitch I have purchased from etrailer and each purchase has gone smoothly. I will say the two Curt Hitches did install and line up better than another brand I purchased from them but don't recall the brand on that one.
Good trailer hitch. Bought it to attach a bike rack. Installation was fairly straightforward. Hardest part was enlarging the frame holes. A step bit was the way to go. Fits perfectly without interference and is not obtrusive. Very beefy too. Very happy with my purchase.

Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V XD - 2"
Installed on a 09 3500 express shuttle bus. Used to pull 24ft camper and mount bike rack. Did have to drill frame holes but it was worth it.
This receiver is stout. Great piece for the money. Fit my 2017 Savanna well. In addition to drilling the two outward holes larger to fit the 9/16 bolts, I did have to open up one of the other frame holes a touch but that is more a GM frame manufacturings variance than anything. Can’t beat this receiver for the money.

Now this hitch is a fairly simple installation. No modification to vehicle at all, goes into existing hardware locations. It's got a 2" by 2" receiver tube opening of course, and then here you can see our rounded-style safety chain connection points, they're on a plate there, so it should give us great security, nice heavy duty. I think just about any safety chain you'd have should connect there, and .. See, our receiver tube opening here, that's 5/8" in diameter and I think that most Class III accessories should work, as long as they have a little bit smaller diameter.
What our customers are saying:
"Excellent Experience. Nice website. Easy to find the right hitch. Hitch came quickly. It was a perfect fit for our Toyota Matrix with Ground Effects."
