Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,000 lbs
This tow bar is a beast! I'm replacing my existing one (same model) after over 20,000 miles of pulling a Jeep Cherokee behind a class A motorhome. It has taken a beating on a trip to Alaska and back to Texas, including an incident where the wind blew me off the road and put the Jeep on 2 wheels. A frost heave that bent the RV Tow receiver but not the tow bar. As well as a car driving into the back of the Jeep while I was towing at 65 mph. Can't say enough about the quality and durability of this product!
Excellent product. Towing 4 door Jeep Wrangler Sport.

Roadmaster StowMaster Tow Bar - Coupler Style for 2" Ball - Car Mount - 6,000 lbs
The product quality is excellent and very easy to use. We've had no issues with the installation or towing our F150 behind our motorhome. Easy to remove or attach with just one person.
If you are thinking of towing a car this is the company to see. Just installed a base plate and tow bar to my Toyota. Took just 2 hours. With the video and instructions, no problems, very easy. Customer support excellent, very helpful. If you don’t think that you can do this install yourself, think again. I would recommend this tow bar, with the telescoping arms connecting to the car is very simple and secure. This is a 5 star product. Thank You

Roadmaster Nighthawk All-Terrain Tow Bar w/ LED Lights - Non-Binding - RV Mount - 8,000 lbs
The product works great. I love all the light features on it. Easy install and easy of use. Using the product with my RV and Jeep Gladiator.
The Nighthawk tow bar is very nice and easy to hook up. However, the electrial connection from "Towed" to Coach exits the left side of the tow bar and crosses under the receiver to connect to the Coach socket which is on the right side of the receiver. This causes the electrical cable to get tangled with the safety cables. It seems as though there should be separate parts for coaches with right or left connectors. I moved my Coach connector to the left side of the receiver to eliminate the tangle of the electrical cable with the safety cables. The tow bar is easy to connect and disconnect and store. Mine connects to the Roadmaster Spare Tire Carrier receiver which works well. I did have one incident where the electrical cord was somehow severed which meant that I had no operating supplemental brakes and no "Towed" lights. I did not know when it happened or how it happened. There should be some alarm when a disconnect occurs. I found the problem only because I stopped for a break and inspected everything. Since my "Towed" is very light and I did no hard braking, I did not notice the loss of supplemental brakes.

Roadmaster Sterling All-Terrain Tow Bar - Non-Binding - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 8,000 lbs
Arrived quickly and well packaged. Took less than an hour to install on the RV with the included safety cables and wiring.I haven't pulled our Bronco with it yet but the tow bar appears to be well built and a quality product.
First, received the package and upon opening, found that the linch pins were missing. One phone call and issue was resolved and replacement items were being expedited to me. Appears the box came open on one end during shipment and parts came out before carrier retaped the tear. Good on E-Trailer for outstanding and prompt customer service! Now, the Sterling All Terrain towbar - very impressive unit as I had bought this on reputation only as no dealers had any in stock (they say it is too costly to carry in store). Very well made, excellent finish and welds. Instructions are quite clear and easy to follow. I like that when you purchase this unit, it is a “total package”. There is nothing I could see that is cheaply made - all quality. This was my first purchase from E-trailer, and based on how this order went start to finish, and having to deal with missing parts on an order - I am very pleased and will deal with them in the future.

Blue Ox Acclaim Non-Binding Tow Bar - Coupler Style for 2" Ball - Car Mount - 5,000 lbs
Towed a 4 door Rubicon with Dodge 2500 truck. The tow bar did great on the 2000+ mile trip. The bar is very easy to couple and uncouple.
The Blue Ox is perfect for my needs. I use it to tow my 2004 Tacoma, with after market Warn locking hubs, behind my truck camper. The tow bar is easy to hook up and remove and tows like a dream. I would recommend for this purpose highly.

Curt Adjustable Tow Bar - Coupler Style for 2" Ball - 5,000 lbs
Couldn’t believe etrailer sent this 2nd day deliver for free but they did. Only reason I didn’t give it five stars is whoever pounded the two Hex nut, top lock flange, 1/2”-13, grade 5 nuts to make them into lock nuts pounded them to hard makin them impossible to tighten even half way, even with impact wrench. Barely got one back off and had to cut the other off. Replaced with a couple of nylocks, washers and blue locktite and all is good now. Not faulting etrailer any at all. This was on Curt. etrailer is excellent. Second time I’ve purchased from them and I’m sure it won’t be the last. Great people to do business with.
Very nice, i have used it 4 times flat towing my 89 Jeep Wrangler YJ over 1000 miles. Very happy and tows like there is nothing behind me, thanks for a fine product!!

Blue Ox Adventurer Adjustable Tow Bar - Coupler Style for 2" Ball - 5,000 lbs
Product shipped without one of the locking pins which caused me to question the overall quality of the product. I contacted etrailer regarding the missing locking pin and explained that the product was worthless without it and was assured that it would be sent immediately. It was sent out the same day with USPS with a one-week expected delivery! Keep in mind the original order (which was very heavy) was here in a couple of days. Given the major inconvenience, etrailer couldn't spring for some expedited shipping! Sad!
We have used this tow hitch / bar for over 12 months now. We have travelled from the west coast to the east coast, to Canada and Mexico, 10's of thousands of Miles. So much that the connectors to the base plate are starting to wear with all of the turns. The tow bar is still in very good condition. We only have 1 issue which is it can get a bit tight if the car is on an angle, either up or down, left to right. But this was a known issue prior to purchase and its very minor. I would buy again! Great product for the cost.

Blue Ox Alpha 2 Non-Binding Tow Bar - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,500 lbs
Looks like a quality tow bar. However, I'm pretty disappointed because the ratings on it were very favorable. I just used it for the first time and it's EXTREMELY tight and difficult to get into or out of the storage position. I'm going to contact etrailer to see if there's something I can do or if it will loosen up over time. I don't want to start loosening bolts. If it stays this tight, my rating would go down to a 1.
Installed as expected as we prepared to leave our home, Disconnected with ease at the campsite. Repeated the process as we prepared to leave the campsite headed home. All facets operated as expected.

Roadmaster Nighthawk All-Terrain Tow Bar for Blue Ox Base Plate - Non-Binding - LEDs - RV Mount - 8K
We've been towing our Jeep Grand Cherokee for about 8 months now with this tow bar and it's worked flawlessly! We've been places where the coach and Jeep are not perfectly aligned putting the attaching pins in a bind, but with a simple release of the handle it would release the arm and unbind the pin. Super easy to use. I highly recommend the Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding tow bar. OH! The LED lights along the arm make it look great too!!
Very nice tow bar. I like the way it stores on the back of my motor home.

Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar for Blue Ox Base Plates - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,000 lbs
I decided to use an antique Blue Ox tow bar to pull my Mini Cooper behind our RV on a trip to Panama City beach last year. Big Mistake! If it looks questionable, don't use it. When we arrived I was extremely thankful that the Mini was still with us. The old Blue Ox bar was coming apart. I looked locally for a replacement and found one at Camping World and was shocked at the price. eTrailer had the exact same unit for hundreds and hundreds less. And they shipped it quickly right to the camp ground. The Roadmaster Falcon 2 tow bar is very easy to us and mated right up to the Blue Ox kit on the Mini. Thanks eTrailer! We will definitely buy from you again!
Great product

Roadmaster BlackHawk 2 All-Terrain Non-Binding Tow Bar - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 10,000 lbs
This is one of the best, two items I purchased of about 6 or 7 items acquired to rig my 2001 GMC YukonXL for flat towing. The 10,000 lb capacity is valued. the tow bar slides work well. the 3/4inch pins are strong and I have had no problems. The tow bar pulls a YukonXL with some extra stuff, fuel and tools and weighs probably 6,500 lbs (my est--haven't put it on a CAT scale). When I rig my 2020 Chev Silverado Trail Boss to flat tow, I expect to be able to use this.
Easy to install in place of an old Falcon towbar. As you can see in the photo it can be rotated to the side and latched in place. I needed this feature as we carry two electric bikes above the towbar. looking foward to not needing a rubber hammer to release the tension on the bars.

Blue Ox Ascent Non-Binding Tow Bar - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 7,500 lbs
Really well built. Great service from etrailer.
On the road in our RV when I discovered our 3yr 7mo Blue Ox Tow Bar had a failure that I was not going to be able to use again. I call Willian S at etrailer about getting a new Blue Ox Tow Bar and having it shipped to a nearby UPS store. William checked to ensure it would be delivered before our scheduled departure. Not only did he assure me it would meet the timeline but he checked it after shipping to make sure it got here. Also he checked about a “like new” tow bar which saved me ~$500. Thanks for keeping me on the road without delay!

etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,000 lbs
First time flat tower so can't compare it to any others. Installs easily and stows out of the way nicely. Build quality looks Very good and look forward to our trip. I've only done parking lot test drives.
Great purchase and suggestion from etrailer. This thing is so easy to hook up to the Jeep and we couldn't be happier. We've only towed a few times, but already the wife has taken over hooking up the tow bar while I hook up the Brake Buddy in the Jeep. Easy to hook up, just as easy to disconnect after you arrive. I wish we had done this years ago!

etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plates - RV Mount - 6,000 lbs
The wiring kit for the tow base kit was very well engineered and works very well. The videos for installing the base plate we're awesome step by step process and was very easily accomplished by someone with just a wrench and a drill and a few tools.
Would have gave it a full 5 stars if it would have actually fit into the receiver. Tried both my extension receiver and the OEM 2 inch receiver. Would not budge. Had to grind off the powder coating and then some. Now I need to then repaint to prevent rusting. I would have returned this if I didn’t need it now. Better quality control is needed on the e trailer brand. Guess I know it won’t rattle, lol. Buy a mainstream brand.

Blue Ox Apollo Non-Binding Tow Bar - RV Mount - 2-1/2" Hitch - 15,000 lbs
I love it! It's so nice and strong. Works great. Very easy And quick to connect and disconnect. Best price on e-trailer! Not all the time but I tow a 2500 mega cab ram diesel with no problems.
I'm super impressed how quickly e trailer puts together an order and gets it out the door.! And, even though they have free shipping, they dont skimp, so far ups! And, it's been great.

etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Blue Ox and Curt Base Plates - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 6K lbs
Good design but poorly manufactured. Used on a single, multi-week trip: Bar stayed on the RV. Removed when we got home and the powder-coating has cracked and bar is showing rust inside and out. Chrome on extending arms is pitted and beginning to rust. Emailed etrailer but Cody informed me that I would have to ship it back at my expense without any commitment to replace! Disappointed with etrailer after years of previous purchases
Instructions for the adapter were incomplete, with no instructions on whether to torque the bolts or leave with some play. Haven't used the tow bar yet, but easy to assemble.

Roadmaster StowMaster Tow Bar - Coupler Style for 2-5/16" Ball - Car Mount - 6,000 lbs
Nice, solid product. Easy to install and remove. Sliding action is very smooth, easy to extend and fold. My hitch coupler is slightly different design than shown but seems very heavy duty.
Absolutely fabulous
Setting up the Roadmaster Nighthawk All-Terrain Tow Bar w/ LED Lights on your 2023 Jeep Wrangler
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today, we're taking a look at the Roadmaster Nighthawk tow bar on a 2023 Jeep Wrangler. Now there's five main components that are required when flat towing the vehicle, and the first one is gonna be the base plate. That's gonna be the structural mounting point that goes onto the frame of the vehicle. That's gonna allow you to attach the rest of your components. And moving along with that, you're gonna be attaching to your tow bar, which is gonna be the connection point between the base plate of the vehicle and the hitch on the RV. Now the base plate also has a mounting tab for our safety chain loops, which are there just in case of an accidental disconnect.
Setting up the Blue Ox Avail Non-Binding Tow Bar on a 2023 Jeep Wrangler
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the Blue Ox Avail Tow Bar on a 2023 Jeep Wrangler. Now there's gonna be five main components that are required for flat towing a vehicle, and starting on the vehicle side, your base plate. Your base plate is going to attach to the frame of the vehicle and become a rigid mount that you can have all of your accessories attached to. And that's going to also give you all the hookup points for it as well. So from our base plate, we have our tow bar, which is gonna be our connection point between the base plate and the hitch on the RV. We also have safety cables here, so that way, in case of an accidental disconnect, we're still attached, and that just attaches to the base plate as well as the safety chain loops on the RV.

1998 Jeep Wrangler Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar: Complete Installation
Today on our 1998 Jeep Wrangler, we'll be installing the Roadmaster Falcon Two tow bar with a weight capacity of 6,000 pounds, part number RM-520. To begin with, we're going to need to go ahead and connect our quick disconnect as well as the safety plate to the mounting bracket that's already installed on this vehicle. To do that, we'll be using the bolts, the flat washers, the lock washers, as well as the hex nuts. We'll go ahead and install this hardware loosely until we're sure everything lines up. We'll go ahead and put both the driver and the passenger side on. Now that we know that the quick disconnect crossbar goes on and off easily, we can go ahead and set it off and now we'll go ahead and torque the hardware to the manufacturer's specification.
What our customers are saying:
