Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit w/Barb Inlets - Class III - Efficient
Works fine and wasn't difficult to install. I didn't take the bumper cover off. Worked from top and below. Fashioned an aluminum brace.
The Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit w/Barb Inlets - Class III - Efficient did not come with the correct radiator transmission fitting for my 2004 Toyota Tacoma doublecab Prerunner v6 automatic transmission truck. However, I was able to use the fitting provided as a "splice connector" between tubing sections. I did not have to cut or trim off any of the stock rubber tubing to make the splice connection, but I did choose to use a couple of line clamps to secure the tubing to the front frame crossmember. Because of existing AC condensor tubing, braces, and other items in the way, placement of the transmission cooler on my vehicle will ONLY fit in the upper passenger side of the radiator, in front of the AC condenser. It was extremely difficult to get the cooler into this position. Completely removing the entire front grille would have helped, but I chose NOT to because all of the 21 year old plastic clip grille fasteners would inevitably break and need replacement ($$$). I ended up accidentally bending some of cooler fins when trying to get it into position. Not sure if I can straighten out these bent cooler fins after the install but I am going to try. I also don't know how much additional transmission cooling I am now getting because I don't have a temperature gauge connected to my transmission. I simply have to trust the cooler is doing its job.

Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit w/Barb Inlets - Class II - Efficient
Have a 1998 Lincoln Mark 8 w/ 4 speed automatic which retails for no less than $ 4000.00 - Having this potential monkey on my back , I decided to invest in a trans cooler. Fabricated mounts and bolted on , used double flare connection to cooling line w/ barbed fitting ; barbed fitting @ radiator fitting. Used 2 hose clamps @ cooler, one clamp on each barbed fitting . Could only mount with fittings to left ,fluid leaves radiator , enters cooler @ top ( to reduce pump load ), comes out of bottom & returns to tranny. No trans temp. guage, but cooler gets hot @ idle, verifying cooler works . Well constructed and sturdy, easy to mount ; comes with instructions.
It’s been almost a year since I installed this transmission cooler. I would say it’s gone without a hitch, but THAT would be inaccurate. I also installed a hitch! I placed great confidence in this transmission cooler to do its job as my 2015 Honda Accord V6 served as my truck during our move this past year. Never a problem (ok, I’ll say it... It went without a hitch!). etrailer customer service was EXCELLENT! There was a question during installation that arose from my particular model of car having a Transmission Fluid Warmer that in effect made identification of the transmission outlet and inlet reversed according to the instructions. The technician actually read and considered what I was saying, instead of just assuming the instructions applied to my vehicle. Thanks to their input, I correctly reversed the directions and got the correct solution! BTW... I attached some pics of the correct hose routing for the 2015 Honda Accord V6. Note how you simply remove the short hose shown in the first pic, and connect the hoses from the transmission cooler! Note that I mounted the transmission cooler vertically so the hoses would reach. The last pic is showing the transmission fluid warmer (just as an FYI).

Derale Dyno-Cool Tube-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit - Class II - Economy
Wanted to give my Honda better ability to handle a tow. this baby does the job. Transmission definitely cooler operation since the install. The install was simple and straight forward.
I purchased this for my C6 Corvette A6 transmission. I did, however, bypass the radiator and only use the transmission cooler for the C6. I purchased and used the Derale Radiator Adapter fitting 259-13035 for both the top and bottom and just capped them off to keep debris out of the reservoir. I also had to make some custom mounting brackets. This is an excellent product and it keeps the tranny in a great temperature range.

Derale Atomic-Cool Remote Transmission Cooler Kit w/ Fan, -6 AN Inlets - Class V
The fan is nice, the brass compression barbed fittings did not work. They leaked from both threads. I paid for fancy with a quickness 2 day shipping, took 5 days. I’m just glad I wasn’t too much in a hurry to cool my dads transmission for his road trip.
Everything was included to install the cooler and instruction sheet is useful. Hardest issue is where to mount. No leaks so far. Should help trans temps while towing.

Derale Direct-Mount Remote Cooler Kit for 1987 - 2006 Jeep Wrangler
I assume it's great cause my transmission still runs cool. Only issue I've had is not securing a hose well and my front drive shaft knicked it, causing a leak. My fault not the kit. For the TJ, this is tops. I tow small trailer. Only heats up at idle and never above 225.

Derale Series 9000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit w/ NPT Inlets - Class IV - Extra Efficient
My vehicle originally did not have a transmission cooler. After warming up, my transmission temperature would typically be 100 degrees higher than the ambient air temperature, whether moving or stopped. Towing the largest enclosed U-Haul trailer (6'x12') would raise the temperature to about 120 degrees above ambient. After adding this cooler, the transmission stays about 70 degrees higher than the ambient air temperature on the highway, and 80-85 degrees above ambient while parked or driving in slow traffic. I haven't towed that same U-Haul trailer since adding the cooler, but towing a much larger (8.5'x20') enclosed trailer raises the temperature to about 110 degrees above ambient. If you can find a spot the cooler will physically fit, it should work for your vehicle. You may have to get creative to solidly mount it. I used an angle grinder to remove part of a factory brace. When doing work in this area of your vehicle, be careful not to puncture the AC condenser! If you do, like I did, you will have to replace it. Some AutoZone locations will rent a vacuum pump and manifold gauge set. Doing your own repair means the total repair cost is only the sum of the new AC condenser and refrigerant. The inlet/outlet NPT fittings on this cooler need to be tighter than you think. I was worried about stripping the threads, and didn't tighten them enough at first. I ended up removing my bumper cover multiple times to tighten them until they stopped leaking. I found the best way to detect a leak was to zip-tie a folded paper towel below the fitting. If it turned red, there was a leak. For my application, I would have preferred built-in 3/8" hose barb inlets instead of the 1/2" NPT fittings.
Great quality! Simple installation, awesome product.
