Solera RV Slide-Out Awning - 157" Wide - White
The reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is the problems I had with the shipping. All if the shipping tubes we damaged to some extent and one if them was shipped 3 times because of damage done to the awning in transit. Other than that, the awnings look and work great. My 64 year old bride and 65 year old I installed them without too much trouble and 0 injuries. 3 on one side 1 long one on the other side.
See my other review. The channel that holds the topper to the RV needs to be higher than what their instructions say. Other than that it's a good product.

No issues. Good Quality and easy to install - even easier with two people! The one purchased was 13ft long with almost 4ft extending over the slide out and when out and rained on would 'pool' water under the weight of the rain, but that's what you would expect with such large area awning unless the installation can accommodate a a steep slope, which has to be rare with slide out awnings
After finally getting a chance to use my rv with the 13 7 x 48 slide-out awning that I purchased from you, I would give it a much lower review than I did. Because of the length the water pools in the center, Alot of water pools! enough that Im concerned that the weight may damage the slide-out. I would give it 2 stars max. and that only because it was easy to install, otherwise I would give it 1.

The installation went well. I used the existing gutter rail to mount the topper. If I did it again, and I may still add it, I'd put the included awning rail above the existing rail to increase the slope of the topper. This would give better run off. It's a great topper.
Awning arrived fast, installation was quick and easy. 2 people under a hour. Costumer service was excellent.

After searching the internet and checking reviews I chose etrailer for my slide out awning. I have shopped at Camping World who had the same awning but a lower price. After contacting etrailer with their price match I got the awning plus a few dollars less shipped to my door! Communications were excellent! The installation was straight forward with ample instructions. The mounting brackets for the slide out has two positions, an upper and lower to provide clearance between the roll and top of the slide out. I used the upper. Hardware was great quality. There is ample adjustments in the brackets side to side if needed. My trailer a 2020 Aspen Trail 2750BH has the “C” rail as part of the gutter so I didn’t need to install the one provided with the awning! My wife and I installed the awning with two ladders and did not have any problems. Make sure and use the silicone spray as it really makes the awning easy to slide thru the C channel. We are happy with our purchase and will definitely use etrailer for our needs! Thank you for a quality product!
Paula was very helpful making sure I got the right one. It arrived on time and all the pieces were there

I really liked the awning only problem was before purchasing I watched several videos of how to install. None of them even mentioned first and foremost checking to see if your trailer was equipped to be able to install one. We even watched the etraler install video which was installed on a trailer exactly like ours. First time going out with the slide out screws pulled out and we have 10 holes on the side of our trailer. I called etrailer and after explaining what had happened the first words were “Did you check to make sure your trailer could accept the awning from your manufacture”. I probably watch no less than 25 videos on how to install one and no one even suggested first checking to make sure your trailer was constructed to have one. Nor in the instructions .I now have 10 holes in my trailer and an awning for sale less the top rail which I kept on trailer so not to have 10 more holes. I really wished it would have worked because installing it was easy after watching video except for needing to check first.
Fast shipping and it arrived at my house exactly when I expected it. This is my fourth slie-Out Awning from etrailer. Everything went great.

While we love the slide out on our travel trailer, that is nothing but a potential problem. Leaves and debris lay on top and eventually prevent a good seal when closed, water pooling and potential leaking...and the list goes on. We made the decision to buy and self install the Solera Slide Topper. The topper arrived in a large, well packed cardboard tube. All parts were present. It took my wife and I about 1:45 minutes to complete the installation. We are super pleased with how it turned out and have no complaints at all. Once again...eTrailer to the rescue! I will note a couple of things that buyers/installers need to be aware of. While none of these are a deal breaker...knowledge is power. Some of the hardware (screws) are not painted black. After installation, I took a can of black spray paint and sprayed a little in a paper cup and used a Q-tip to apply the paint to the unpainted heads. The other thing is the tension. Wow...that is one strong spring! I found that the tension was so tight that it actually prevented the top of the slide out from fully extending. I knew this because before installing it I actually felt how tight the inside seal was against the interior wall when the slide was out. After the install I could easily slip my fingers between the inside trailer wall and the slideout seal. I ended up unwinding the spring by two full turns. After that, the slideout seal was firm against the interior wall! Yea! The awning itself was still very taunt and without sag. A word of caution about removing the spring keeper pin or unwinding the arm. Make sure you FULLY understand what you are doing. That is NOT something you want to mess up on. While we had no problems in doing this...I am familiar with spring loaded rotational forces and understand the instant damage they can do! Very pleased...and would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an inexpensive way to cover and protect your slide out!
They were all junk. I had emailed telling you that all the material that slid in the rail on the wall was not heat melted together. They were junk. You wa Ted me to pay for the shipping to send them back. All 4 of them fell apart. I bought new material and redid them all. I spent all that money on them and you wanted me to spend more money on junk. That's why I will not be buying anymore things from you. I buy were people take care of there customers.

Solera RV Slide-Out Awning - 151" Wide - Black
Very flimsy. I have to stick floats under it to keep it tight in the middle or it will hold water. The shorter ones I've installed in the past did not have this issue. This also seems to be a known issue after doing some research.
After a year the product I purchased and installed has been wonderful. As you can see from the picture(s) it is still in great shape and protects our camper slide. Topper was easy to install for a DYI and the assistance of video on installation prep and advice from etrailer was the ticket to successfully completing the job with no trouble. Topper material is quality material and hardware was very good. Love the results and no issues with anything falling on the top of my slide increasing the risk of damage to slide and or seals.

Solera RV Slide-Out Awning - 79" Wide - Black
A friend and I installed this topper today on a Winnebago 2101DS travel trailer. It took a little over one hour and we didn't run into any real problems. One thing the instructions said to do was to mount the hex aluminum bar in the end bracket using a self tapping 1/4-20 screw. Seemed almost impossible to do so I used a 1/4-20 tap. Worked fine. Once the slide topper is squared away and goes in and out properly the paper instructions want you to install a black self tapping screw in the fabric slot within 1" of the end of the fabric. I didn't like the idea of running the screw through the fabric. I had some black tubing from another project which I used for the block to keep the slide fabric from moving. The topper seems to be high quality and certainly will provide additional protection from the elements. This is definitely a two man job and my friend was great help. When we were sliding the fabric into the slide topper rail we found the best way was for me to be on the roof supporting the topper while my friend guided the fabric into the rail slot.
An "add-on" that is absolutely necessary -- this "slide topper" shields the top of the slide from grit, grime, trash, dust & potential mold so that it isn't pulled back into the RV each time the slide is retracted. Frankly, the written instructions leave much to be desired, but thanks to the etrailer videos a reasonably able DIY'ER can install (...can't over emphasize that watching and memorizing the videos is a must, however!). An excellent product that seems to wear well while providing "necessary" protection.

I like the awning, but installation on my Lance 950S was not a slam dunk. I was required to do quite a bit of re-engineering to find a solid mounting location that assured I had the right slope and clearances.
This was just as the web page described. The size, fit was very good and it was easy to install. The video provided good install process. My slider is 82.5" I added 5" to it making it 87.5" divided that by 12" and ordered the 7' 6" topper. The material of the topper measured 7' 1/4" just as I was told by the sales rep. I am very happy with this topper.

Paul provided immediate high quality guidance on replacing a bedroom slide that was destroyed in a storm. I appreciate his quality knowledge and communication. The item I need was out of stock and would not be available for two weeks. I received an email from hom that the item was shipped far earlier than anticipated. It arrived in quality packaging within a week. Great job Thanks
Service was great, it did have all the attaching parts. Both ends of the round shipping tube had caps as well as tape. All the components were in good condition and packed well. Received in a very timely manner.

The Awning kit was received on time and the installation went smoothly. Very happy with the product.
I originally purchased a slide-out awning thinking that it was 12' 7". Unfortunately, it was 127". I sought a return and ordered one that was 12' 7" or 151". The awning attached easily to my travel trailer. Although it was my error for ordering the wrong size initially etrailer worked with me in crediting my account and in shipping the wrong awning back. I am very grateful!

Delivery went well, slight damage to tube, contents were fine. Install was pretty simple, following video from etrailer. Very pleased with quality of topper n look of it on our Camper which is a 2021 Keystone Passport. I've ordered a few things from etrailer n haven't ever had an issue.
I am not sure whose fault it was, but it took about 3 months for my order to be completed. It was backordered initially, which is fine, but somehow shipped two weeks early. I get ready to install and realize the awning rail, and half of the screws are missing. It appeared to be an open box item, or maybe items taken, and sent to another customer. Customer service was great, (through the whole process, keeping me informed) and they requested the missing parts, which were also back ordered. Two months later, the parts become available and they ship me another slide topper, with the awning rail, but missing all of the screws again!!!! This required another order to be placed for the screws, which took almost two weeks to arrive. I then needed to return the extra awning with the freight company, which was aggravating because they kept canceling/rescheduling dates. Finally got it all installed which took about an hour. The slide topper looks great now that it’s finally installed!

The ultrasonic weld let go on this slide topper within 3 months. Lippert did replace the fabric under warranty but it took over a month for it to finally arrive. Within 2 months of this a second slide topper had its seam come apart as well. Lippert replaced it as well and within a week this time. Of the 3 slide toppers I ordered 2 had the same problem with the fabric within 6 months.
These slide toppers are very good quality and very easy to install. The directions for installing them are also very good, and if you aren't sure about something etrailer offers several videos that explain the steps involved. If you are installing one of this size, you will definitely need 2 people to hang the awning itself. All of the other parts go on quite easily. Using a cordless drill also makes the job easier.

Solera RV Slide-Out Awning - 145" Wide - White
Slide topper, rail, and hardware arrived with no damage. LCI installation instructions were somewhat vague. installation videos help. I would suggest the instructions add directions to pre-drill all holes in the unit. and display which way the rail should be installed, and whether you line the rail up on top or bottom of the 3" mark. First time I installed slide topper it took 2.5hrs with another persons help sliding in place. All in all installation went fairly smooth.
I'm an RV tech and have installed these before, but this time it was in my own new 5th wheel. My advice, if your RV is slide topper ready, consider putting the slide rail a couple inches higher. I had a feeling it was gonna be an issue and it is. The manufacturer suggested placement is too low and they sit flat and catch even the lightest rain. We just put a beach ball under ours cuz the rain will not run off. Otherwise I'm sure the product is fine, but please take my word for it, there needs to be a higher rise for the rain to dry. I raised our last RV toppers and no issues at highway speeds. I wish the manufacturer would actually test their product and installation instructions before putting it on the market.

That big RV CAMPING WORLD company said that they wouldn’t put a slide topper on my super slide with a awning because of that awning so I did it myself works good had to put brackets a little farther than it probably should be because the hex bars bent a little but still works good to protect my slide out
Answered the phone promptly, knew what he was talking about, received the product in good condition and when i was told it would come. I installed it with minimal help, instructions from the manufacturer are less than clear on what to do but with u tube you will make it ok.

Thanks to etrailer. Will was very knowledgeable and helpful. I ordered 2 awnings for my slideout on my fifthwheel. The service was great. These slideout awnings were a great thing to add to my trailer. It will protect from rain and sun. Thanks to etrailer and william, very good service and good quality products.
The screws that came with the awning were worthless!! They broke off and were a pain to work with. I had to get my own metal screws to put it on. It’s ridiculous that they use these low quality screws!!! Everything else was great and it works perfectly. The metal screws is why it didn’t receive a 5
