Glacier Cable Tire Chains - Ladder Pattern - Roller Links - Manual Tensioning - 1 Pair
Haven't used yet but have the incase needed put on a couple times in the driveway 2008 Trailblazer Lt w 3lt 4wd driving from West Texas to Anchorage Alaska pain to get back in the bag but doable had to reroute front Abs sensor wiring for clearance . Owners manual says no but they do fit just barley . Ordered 2 pairs . I have 245 55 18
These are not as easy to mount as I'd hoped if you're mounting them in bad weather...good luck! Recommend other customers select something more user friendly even if it costs more.

Glacier Cable Tire Chains - Ladder Pattern - Roller Links - Manual Tensioning - 1 Pair
Fit perfectly on my toyota sienna 20in rims when I thought tire chains weren’t possible with that tire model. I had asked a question on their site to confirm that theyd fit and they were super responsive. I received the chains fast and they were good about emailing me notifications. Chains worked great especially with tensioner, I just used some thick foam padding to prevent any possible scratches to my wheels. Very happy with my purchase and would def buy from E-trailer again!
I ordered the snow cables for my Subaru 2018 Outback and received them in 3 days! Your customer service is outstanding! I reordered a second set and received them in 4 days. I just had a chance to use them in Atlanta when we had ice and snow. I used only one set on the front and they worked perfectly. i watched the etrailer installation video for a Subaru and it made the easy to install. It took me less then 5 minutes in my garage. (Outside in the snow and ice might take longer). I drove around Atlanta in the ice and snow and the cables performed flawlessly. I plan to buy a set for my daughter. Thanks again!

Works well, I suggest adding additional tensioner if you don’t want any slack. Loved the product
Arrived as scheduled. Packaged well. I did a test install, and all seems good. Seems like a quality product. Installed on my Ram Promaster 3500 Class B van.

pewag Servo RS Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - Square Links - Self Tensioning - 1 Pair
Easy to put on! I have a 2023 Toyota Sienna with original tires 235/60R18 and the pewag RS80 fit perfectly. The pictograph instructions were easy to follow and the chains were quick to get on during my test fit. The instructions being in plastic could be helpful if they get wet and I really like the self tensioning aspect of these chains. A few notes from the Toyota Sienna manual 1. "Vehicles with 17-inch or 18- inch tires Use SAE Class “S” type radial tire chains....Vehicles with 20-inch tires Tire chains cannot be mounted. Snow tires should be used instead." -These Pewag tire chains are "s" type and the low clearance fit my 18" wheels easily. 2. "The tire pressure warning valves and transmitters may not function correctly when tire chains are fitted." -If your vehicle cant read your tire pressure and you have chains on...no big deal. I really liked the ease with which these chains went on and I'm looking forward to seeing how they perform in the snow.
If you have the 2024 Honda CRV 2WD buy these bad boys (I have the sport-l 18" rim version). These reinforced my decision and confidence to buy 2WD vs AWD. I live in a mild climate area and used these on my last trip to Big Bear, CA. I had to sign a waiver at the dealership to only use cables, but because these are S rated they hug your tires just the same. I saw plenty of cheap broken cables on my way up the mountain and glad I spent the money on these instead. I was able to drive without issue in a snow storm on un-plowed roads. No real slippage was experienced. These were easy to drive with on, quiet in snow, and tolerable on dry road. I kept my speed to 30MPH or below. Some suggestions: - Do practice putting the chains on each wheel and taking them off before your trip. - Have gloves handy, preferably snow rated as they will get wet. I would even get a plastic mat for your knees. - Take a screenshot recording of etrailor's video of putting the chains on in case you need a refresher and don't have service. - You may struggle getting the plastic components to uniformly fit on the sidewall of the tire. Some of mine were closer to the tread. I re-adjusted the cable a few times but was pleasantly surprised after a bit of driving that the autotensioner was able to pull them up into a better position. - Take a picture of the chains when you initially put them on so you can park your car with them in the same position. This will allow you to get to the back of the chain to disconnect it when there is snow/ice piled on your wheel well (see my pic). I didn't do this and found it difficult to remove the chain efficiently. - You may still need to roll over the chain to get it off your tire so just make sure all of the plastic components and metal connectors are out of the way of your tire. - Be cautious when connecting or disconnecting the back clip. My advice is to hold onto the chain to avoid it falling on your wheel components and potentially getting snagged. - After one trip I can already see some rust on parts of the chain. They did use salt on the roads so just make sure you rinse the chains off when you get back and let them fully dry before long term storage.

Glacier Cable Tire Chains - Ladder Pattern - Roller Links - Manual Tensioning - 1 Pair
I have not used the cables just yet. Hopeful I will not need to since I have AWD. However it's nice to have them just in case. I wasn't sure what ones to get but their customer service was great and shipping was fast. They are a nice set of cables. I definitely do not have any hesitations in using etrailers.
Great product. Did a dry run in preparation for a trip up to Yosemite in the winter. I purchased these w/ the Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjuster (TCMA2) and it fit great on my 2017 Toyota Sienna SE (P235/50R19). The installation video on etrailer.com was VERY helpful.

Glacier Tire Chains w/ Cam Tighteners - Ladder Pattern - Twist Links - Assisted Tensioning - 1 Pair
The order was handled very fast, and I got the snow chains in no time. Those are chains for big vehicle, they are heavy and sturdy. Comparing to diamond pattern chains that I had perilously, the new chains almost impossible to tangle. It takes just 30 seconds to lay them correctly on the ground. In my garage I put them as instructed in the video on etrailer web page. But in real life scenario, on highway shoulder, I would probably lay them down on the ground, drive 2-3 feet forward and try to close the chains on top of the wheel (versus crawling on the ground and trying to reach behind the wheel). The tension system is simple and intuitive. Comparing again to diamond pattern chains, this tension system is much more robust. The only downside of those chains, they miss caring bag. The bag they where shipped in, has no zipper, and cannot be closed once open.
Great chains! Get them on as tight as possible with all the cams facing out, drive a short way and then tighten the cams where needed. Very easy install and the grip is excellent - got us safely through the snowstorm that just hit Tahoe.

Just tried them on and drove down the block in now snow. 2025 Nissan Rogue Rick Creek Edition. 235/65R17 Tires. For perfectly. Definitely put them on for practice once or twice in your driveway BEFORE you need them. Not difficult; but there is a learning curve the first time you put them on.
I have a 2019 Honda CRV and have never owned tire chains before so I dont have anything to compare these to but they are easy to put on and take off and they conquer a steep icy unpaved drive way in The Catskills perfectly. There are some plastic parts that probably should be metal. One of them - the tension hook - broke on one of my chains (see photo) and when I reported this to etrailer.com with a photo to prove it, they sent another set. So I am pleased overall with the service from etrailer.com but am only giving 4 stars for the product on account of the breakage. Also they rusted after one season but that hasn't impacted performance.

I HAVE BOUGHT 3 PAIR OF CHAINS FROM etrailer AND GOT FAST SHIPPING ON ALL 3 PAIR . 2 DAYS EXC SERVIRE. THE LAST PAIR I BOUGHT WAS FOR MY UTV. THESE CHAINS WERE NOT MADE FOR THE UTV . I NEW THIS BEFORE I BOUGHT THEM . MY UTV HAS OVERSIZE TIRES ON IT AND ATV/ UTV CHAINS WANT FIT IT SO I BOUGHT THESE CHAINS , HAD TO CUT 10 INCHES OFF BUT THEY WERE WHAT I WANTED AND THEY WORK PERFIT.EXCELLENT SERVICE , THANKS etrailer.
The chain links broke off on both pairs on the first time using it. Also because I purchased the chains in the summer to prepare for winter I was told too much time elapsed and I couldn’t get my money back nor a free exchange. I was pissed to say the least. I definitely would not recommend these chains and if you’re going to purchase from this company make sure you purchase within the 30 days that you’re actually going to use the chains that way if anything goes wrong they’re within the time period to have something done about it.

Glacier Cable Tire Chains - Ladder Pattern - Roller Links - Manual Tensioning - 1 Pair
I bought this product for my Ram truck to retrieve fire wood at the top of my snow covered mountain land. The snow was 6 inches deep, very dense, and mixed with layers of ice. The ascent was about 150 feet over a distance of 300 yards. All 4 tires were fitted with this product. I was not able to accomplish my goal. The truck could not get the proper traction to navigate the hill. Without tramping hard on the gas, the tires just spun and dug holes to the stone lane surface. I can't fairly rate this product on it's performance because there may not be any tire chain that would have worked under these treacherous conditions. However, after taking the cables off, I was unable to roll them up to get them back into the bags they were in. For that reason I give them a poor rating. I would love to see a video of someone trying to do this. My solution was to make a wooden spool for each pair on which I rolled them up for storage. The bags are too small, especially for one person. The manufacturer failed to provide an easy means for storage.
I haven't actually had a chance to test out the product, but the service was excellent. We needed chains at the last minute due to an unexpected snow storm for our planned trip to the mountains. I had an extremely difficult time finding chains for my Land Rover LR4, as they were sold out everywhere or $1000 from the dealer. I was able to get the chains I needed with expedited shipping just in time for our trip (we only had a couple of days!). We were able to make it up and down the mountain with just 4 wheel drive, so I can't speak as to the product itself. But the service was superior!

Nicole was a great help and hope she received credit for the sale.
These Cable Chains were the easiest to install of any others I've had. The instructions that came with the chains weren't great, but I watched the video on etrailer which was very straight forward. I watched the video 2 times then took the chains out of the bag and had both on in less than 5 minutes.

Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - Square Link - 1 Pair
These chains were amazing! I was a bit hesitant to go with chains over cables due to the car's manual saying to use cables, but after talking to Bob at etrailer, and watching the install videos, I went with them (on all four tires) and am glad I did! We went up to Yosemite for the New Year, and it snowed the day we drove in. We got through the gate into the park without needing chains, but once inside, the roads started to get covered, and though we have AWD, we don't have snow tires and the chains seemed like the best option. We pulled over and had the chains on all four tires within about 20 minutes. The car ran like a tank through the snow (and later, ice-covered roads) and I'm really happy we went with the chains rather than cables. After putting on the chains, we drove about 100 yards to check and tighten them. They were actually pretty tight - only had to tighten one. They really really came in handy driving through the Yosemite Valley, and the email responses I got from Bob prior to buying these showed me great customer service. The shipping speed was top notch as well, and overall, I'm happy that we went with etrailer to get these chains for our snow-covered trip to Yosemite.
I just tried them to practice and see fitting. Perfect. Thanks

A good choice for our new 2025 Highlander Hybrid XLE with 18" tires. Have occasional winter mountain snow needs, and like the easier install Chains came somewhat tangled, needing some patience to straighen our the first time. Expect less issue repacking them in the good carry case. A practice install highly recommended, as these are NOT the standard chains I had been used to. Seemed to install fairly tight first time. Just need some snow now. Happy with my choice so far. L
Haven’t used yet, but customer service rep was super helpful in helping me find what I needed. Plus with the wealth of instructional videos, I’ll keep coming back to etrailer.

Fantastic customer service, constant follow up from etrailer.com. I need the product urgently and it arrived in a couple of days all the way to Canada! The product is very high quality and was easy to install. I have a cottage with a steep hill and when it’s full of ice it’s very tough to get up even with my 4x4 now I don’t have to put sand and salt down for 500 plus feet! Konig chains are a life saver. Thank you!
These chains are the best I've ever owned. Quick install and take off and a smoother ride than traditional chains!

I love these chains, and etrailer is the best! As a 69 yr old retired grandma, I work part-time at a ski resort. A few weeks ago, we were expecting 8-10 inches of snow/ice and I was scheduled to work. So, I put these idiot-proof, color-coded, self-adjusting chains on my Highlander front low profile tires and waited for weather. See photo. I worked my full shift, came out to ice/snow in dark, and drove safely home. Oh, and the carrying case comes with a folded plastic sheet, but with my old knees I added a foam pad!
Previously my only experience with chains was using cable chains on front wheel drive cars, where turning the wheels was necessary to ensure they had a good fit. I bought these chains for my 2023 Kia EV6 with stock 235/55/19 tires. The instruction manual for the car says to put chains on the rear wheels and I was worried that getting chains on the rear wheels would be difficult. Despite never having used this style of chains before I was easily able to test-fit both chains with 15 minutes, and the chains fit very snuggly and didn't move when I move the car a cars length. Getting the inner loop positioned right is something that took a couple tries to get right, and I'm sure there might be a bit more room for improvement :) I was slightly concerned about the chains damaging the rims or other parts of the car, but with the included spacers (not applied in the picture) I think this won't be a problem. I'm taking the car up to the snow this weekend and if I use the chains I'll provide an update. etrailer did a great job clearly communicating to me when my chains would arrive with no fuss.

Only ordered because I needed chains for a trip. Paid extra to have chains delivered before my trip. Contacted etrailer to state the same. Chains arrived after I left for trip. Website needs to be corrected to reflect actual delivery times.
I got caught in a wild snow storm on I 80 over the Rockies last December. Everyone had to chain up. These chains were easy to put on and performed flawlessly. I had 2 1/2 hours of 30 MPH travel pulling my Scamp trailer. No Fun. Chains of any type are hard on your vehicle, but with that said, they saved the day. I hope I never need them again, but I have them if I need them. One caveat; practice putting them on in good weather.

Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains w Cams - Ladder Pattern - V Bar Links - Assisted Tensioning - 1 Pair
Great set of chains, worked perfect on my 2015 Ford Explorer with 245/60 R18 tires. Watch the installation videos and give them a practice in ideal conditions, so when you’re in the elements and have to get it do e you’ll have the process down. I would also suggest to keep a small bungee cord in the bag with the chains to help give a little length to the links that hook around the backside of the tire to make it easier to grab to help pull the links to the hook. Otherwise these are awesome and great for ice or snow, and seem to be high quality.
They looked like a nice set of chains, but have to rate a 1 star due to my experience. A customer service rep confirmed via chat that these chains would fit my tires (265 70 R16), but they were too small.

Titan Chain Cable Tire Chain - Ladder Pattern - Roller Links - Manual Tensioning - 1 Pair
It worked on our Ascent but just make sure to adjust and tighten as needed. For us we needed to stop the car at least 2 times to tighten as the chain was banging against the struts. After tightening, the interference was reduced and got us up and down Donner Pass Road. When I got home, the chain only rubbed some paint off the struts, which I spray painted over to prevent rusting. It worked for us but expect some rubbing on an Ascent. Note we did purchase and installed a tensioner to complete the installation.
I have purchased few types of tire chains over many years, some were for looks others were for function, others were for "dong the job" My latest set purchased from ETRAILER.COM were the best, basically ease of mounting and drivability is better then other more expensive types.

pewag Snox Pro Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - Square Links - Self Tensioning - 1 Pair
These chains are amazing to say the least. 2012 GMC Terrain never needed to put chains on it, but we decided to take it on a snow trip. I have used chains in the past on other vehicles and all have been so hard to put on, on so many different levels. It made me hate to have to use them. Now the Pewag Snox Pro are the best chains I have ever used. WOW!!! They were on in less than 5-10 minutes and then taking them off was even easier. One snap of the lock, a few rough tugs, and pulled forward. Shook them of and packed them back up in the awesome case. Smooth ride considering I had chains on and great traction on snow and ice! I did not know I could love chains so much!
I got to test them out for the first time after 4 inches of snow going up a long, steep gravel road full of switchbacks and ice patches in Blue Ridge Mountains. They performed wonderfully and were pretty easy to put on. My only concern are the blue plastic parts that could be a weak point.

While I think this could be a fantastic set of chains, I believe the manufacturer could provide better instructions as to buying replacement parts. I tried installing these chains and one of the hex head bolts broke while tightening it up. I tried to find a replacement all over their website and also on etrailer but didn't find any. etrailer team was very kind to help me get in contact with the manufacturer to provide me with a replacement but they never responded back or appeared at all, and ended up just returning these because I could never use them but in the garage to test them one at a time using the same bolt for each set. I'm sure these could have been awesome in the snow plus they looked fantastic on my Kia Sorento 2022.
While I have not actually used them in the snow yet, my test installation in the garage went well.
Mount: Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains on a 2016 Honda Pilot
How's it going It's Ethan, here at etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look and showing you how to install these Titan diamond-patterned snow tire chains on our 2016 Honda Pilot. Diamond-style patterned chains, like the ones we have here, are just going to give you more coverage on a tire. They're going to give you a smoother ride, and they're going to be better at handling turns, than say, your ladder-pattern style, which is just going to be better for starting and stopping. These links are a little bit smaller, just to give you, again, that smoother ride, but they do still have that square shape, which is going to give you that bite, and tonight, a nice bite in the snow and ice, and in general, just a better grip. The links themselves are constructed of a manganese-nickel alloy, which is going to give you a nice corrosion and rust and weather resistance.
Mount: Glacier Cable Tire Chains on a 2016 Honda Pilot
How's it going everyone It's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Glacier cable tire chains on our 2016 Honda Pilot. These are Ladder-Style tire chains, which basically means that the chains go parallel across the tire and they are Roller tire chains as well. So Ladder-Style tire chains are good for starting and stopping. These Rollers are probably specifically going to be used for light snow and sort of just like emergency case usage. We definitely wouldn't recommend these in any sort of ice or heavy snow conditions.
Installing the Konig Tire Chains on your 2016 Honda Pilot
How's it going It's Ethan here at etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look and showing you how to install the Konig XG 12 Pro Diamond Pattern, self-tensioning tire chains, on our 2016 Honda Pilot. These chains are a diamond pattern which gives you a smoother ride, better for turns and just, in general, more overall coverage on your tire. The links themselves are square links, which are going to do a better job at biting into light ice and snow, just because they do have that rough edge, that's going to dig in. As well as these traction plates that are featured on each of the diamond crosses. Those are also there to break up ice as well.
Set up: Glacier Cable Tire Chains on a 2016 Honda Pilot
Speaker 1: Today on our 2016 Honda Pilot, we're gonna be test fitting the Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains, part number PW1046. These chains are perfect for the occasional use. They have these cables here wrapped around with these steel rollers that help out with effective starts and stops in light snow situations. If you have anything heavier such as snow and ice, you may want to upgrade to the square link design for chains. It also has this ladder pattern design around the tire here, and that's also what assists with those effective starts and stops as well. These are SAE class S chains, meaning they're designed to work with vehicle's with limited wheel well clearance like the Honda Pilot here. These are made from low carbon steel, which makes them very durable while you're traveling. And that's gonna hold up over time.
What our customers are saying:
"WOW! I am impressed! I called to place my order and real person answered, spoke perfect English, albeit a slight southern accent, and my order was sent within a day, shipped quickly and I had it a few days later. I saved over a hundred dollars over local and installed it my self. I cant imagine how that they could do any better. THANKS!"
