Play video Rain-X Weatherbeater Wiper Blades Installation - 2013 Honda Fit

Today on our 2013 Honda Fit, we'll show you how to install the Rain-X Weatherbeater Wiper Blades. We'll be using the 28-inch blade on the driver's side, part number RX30228, and the 14-inch blade over on the passenger's side, part number RX30214. First we'll need to remove the old or original wiper blades. We'll pick our wiper arm up and find the attachment point at the end of the arm. Our Fit uses the J-hook style connector. To remove the blade, we'll flip up this latch door here, slightly rotate our wiper blade, push it down and away from the J-hook. To install the new blade, we'll fit the J-hook into the opening.

Now, our passenger's side is going to be part number MCH3714. Now, I'll go ahead and carve 00:00:16 some of the features of it. First off, it's got a all-metal frame with powder coat finish to it. It has multiple pressure points along the rubber squeegee to help hold it in place. Now the blade itself is all-natural rubber squeegee with graphite coating on top of that to help keep it from skipping on the glass.

Today on our 2011 Honda Fit, we'll be test fitting the Michelin windshield wiper blades, Part Number MCH9514. This is going to go on the rear hatch door and it measures 14 inches. This is a replacement for the rear window wiper blade and it's going to help increase visibility in rainy conditions. The Michelin blade has a frame style design that's going to help the wiper to conform to the windshield and deliver a clean streak free wipe. This is a graphite coating on the squeegee that's going to help deliver a smooth quiet wiping action. As you can see, this one has a little bit of damage done to it.
