Custom DK Fit Kit for 4 Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Roof Rack Legs - Naked Roof
Rhino Vortex roof rack (w/attachments). Once instructions have been read through then installation was pretty straightforward. Quite pleased with this rack! Fit, design, wind noise reduction all better than expected. etrailer came through as a first rate provider-nothing but good words for them.
I've had this Rhino Rack 2500 series for one year. I've outfitted the rack with one "J hook" style kayak holder and one "cradle" kayak holder. I am able to securely travel with two kayaks on the roof of my 2014 Honda Civic sedan without issue. During the one year I've had this rack I've traveled over 1,000 miles with two 12 foot+ kayaks on my roof. I can set cruise control at 70mph and not worry about the rack failing. I rate it four (4) stars because the cradles will sometimes move during a long drive and have to be readjusted. This is something that is more cosmetic in the since it looks slightly off, however it does not affect the racks security.

Free delivery that showed up in 3 days!!! Can't beat it. The crossbars with the Control Towers and LandingPad 9 fit perfectly on my Honda Element. Had them installed in about 30 mins. Don't have my cargo box yet and wanted to test strength, so I had my 110lb wife standing on them with no issues (yes, the car was parked). SportRack Semi-Custom Roof Rack for Naked Roofs - Square Crossbars - Steel - 45-1/2" Long
Easy to assemble and, solidly built. Very easy/fast to mount/remove after assembly. The instructions are not all that clear for assembly of the combined sr1003 sr1116. I hope this photo will help. Note that the rubber feet remain on the back bar that crosses the car, but the hook that goes under the door frame is transferred to the sr1116 front to back extender bar.
The rack was fairly easy to put on, do NOT over tighten the rectangular nuts on assembly. They are easy to strip. There are now backup nuts on all four bolts on our unit. Be careful to assure that the rubber pads are correctly positioned on the unit's "feet" before tightening it down on your roof. It looks good and on a recent trip from CT to TN and back, we got the best fuel mileage we've gotten since we bought our CRV over a year ago so it sure doesn't create a lot of drag! Once mounted it is sturdy and not unattractive although the side clamps do distort the door gaskets a bit which increased the wind sound level a bit. I think it is a good value if you are careful mounting it.

Custom DK Fit Kit for 4 Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Roof Rack Legs - Naked Roof
I bought this (with Rhino Rack Legs and Crossbars, and Yakima Skybox) for my 2019 Honda Civic Hatchback and it was perfect: it fit correctly snugly, it gave me all the storage space my family needed, and I felt safe with it on my car. This was my first time using and buying anything like this before and I found setup and installation easy, no special tools required. My advice is that you take your time and you'll have no problems.
I have the full Rhino-Rack set up for the 2018 Honda Civic Hatch with the X-Tray Pro and so far everything fits perfectly. Honestly, etrailer made purchasing this and installing this set up a breeze it was super easy with all the extra instructions they provide and the youtube tutorials they made. Also, etrailer's customer service is outstanding! (5-stars) I had this shipped APO along with having the pleasure to speak to some of the customer service team and they were extremely friendly and very accommodating.

I love the racks, instructions were understandable, one of my end caps came in bad, it can wiggle off after locking but I emailed etrailer and they arranged a replacement quick with rhino rack, pretty nice of them, comes with rhino rack decal and just have to decide where to put it, out my bike up and took it for a test drive and it was very nice, I love their package because it comes with locks and way cheaper than the competitors, very satisfied
Great product. I put the removable racks and brackets on my car as soon as I received them in the mail and have not removed them since. They are used everyday to hold my Yakima rooftop box.

Yakima RoundBar Crossbars - Steel - Black - 48" Long - Qty 2
I ordered the Yakima roof rack, with the Hullyrollers for the back crossbar and the Mako saddles for the front crossbar to use with my kayak. It arrived just like they told me and I put them on my car the eveningit arrived. Got to finlly use the roof rack on June 22 to go out kayaking and it worked great. Only thing is I did not know about the air reflector piece for the front crossbar. Now I will be ordering it to help with the wind noise.
Great rack, go on fast, easy to install and work well on my VW TDI wagon. Care has to be given and follow the instructions for the install to what type of rails you have. Works great carrying the VW luggage carrier and plan on using it to carry kayaks as well. Just have not decided what kayak rack type to get yet.

Rhino-Rack ROC25 Roof Rack for Naked Roofs - Vortex Aero Crossbars - Aluminum - Black
These fit sufficiently. We're not talking a need for precision, so I think I can use this on my 2019 Honda Insight as well as my 2018 Honda Civic. My only complaint is that the threads on the hinge nut needed to be retapped. I needed to buy an M8x1.25 tap from the local auto parts store to make a clean thread for the bolt. The clamps to the door frame should be flush against the car. If not, you might not have your bolt threaded all the way through.

The kit etrailer put together contained all the parts I needed. It took a little figuring to determine how to put it together, but in total only about 30 minutes from box opening to mounting. Now that it is all sized and spaced, it should be much quicker to remount in the future. I installed it on a 2016 Ford Focus hatchback. I am planning to carry a Thule Cascade 1700 XT rooftop carrier. So far it looks good. The price was excellent. While driving, it has a bit of an humming noise, but it is not loud or annoying. I like that it has a full set of keys. All told, it seems like a good product at a reasonable price point.

Fit Test: Custom DK Fit Kit for 4 Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Roof Rack Legs with 2012 Honda Civic
Today on our 2012 Honda Civic, we're going to be test fitting the Rhino Rack Vortex Aero Roof Rack System, consisting of part numbers RRVA126B-2. Those will be their cross bars. Part number RRRLKVA. Those are going to be the legs. Then part number DK319. Those are going to be the clamps that attach it to your vehicle.
Yakima Q Tower Roof Rack Installation - 2012 Honda Civic
Today on our 2012 Honda Civic Sedan, well be test fitting the Yakima Round Bar Roof Racking System, part numbers Y00409, Y00699, Y00731 and Y00124. With our roof rack already assembled according to the instructions, well begin our test fit by placing the front crossbar onto the front of the vehicle. Well measure seven inches from the front part of the glass to the first part of the tower on the front crossbar.Well do this on both the passenger and the driver side of the vehicle ensuring that crossbar is perpendicular to the vehicle. Once we have established this measurement, well tighten down the bolts inside of the que towers and clamp down the front black plastic cap securing the crossbar to the front of the vehicle. Well now place the rear crossbar on the rear of the vehicle and well measure the crossbar spread. This is the measurement from the center of the front crossbar to the center of the rear crossbar.
Thule Traverse Roof Rack Installation - 2012 Honda Civic
Today on our 2012 Honda Civic, well be test fitting a Thule Roof Rack System. We will be using the 58 square load bars, part number THLB58, the Traverse foot pack, and part number TH480, as well as the fit kit for our Civic which is part number THKIT1425. We already have our load bars assembled according to the instructions, so now we are ready to mount them up on our vehicle. First we will need to open up the driver and passenger front doors, well set the front load bar assembly up on top of our roof and to position it correctly well measure 10-5/8 from the edge of the windshield to the leading edge of the Traverse foot, we will make sure these measurements are the same on both sides, so then we will use the included Accutite tools to tighten the feed to our vehicle. Now we can put on our rear load bar. Again we will open the rear passenger and driver doors and set the bar up on top of the roof.
SportRack Frontier Roof Rack Installation - 2011 Honda Civic
Today on this 2011 Honda Civic, we'll be test fitting a Sportrack frontier roof rack. We've already crossbars assemblies put together and set to the proper measurements. So now we're ready to go ahead and mount them up on the roof. We'll take our front crossbar assembly and lay it up on top of the roof. To position the crossbar assembly properly on the front, we need to measure 10 inches from the seam where the two doors meet to the center of the front bar. The feet on this Sportrack can swivel, so make sure that they are sitting as flat as possible on top of the roof of your vehicle.
Rhino-Rack Aero Roof Rack Installation - 2010 Honda Civic
Alright today on this 2010 Honda Civic were going to do a test fit of the Rhino Rack Roof system. Were going to start off with our bars assembled, and then we will go ahead and open up the doors, and put them in place. We will start off with the first load bar, we will put it on top of the roof line and then we will put it in the proper place using measurements. What we are going to do is measure from the center of the door jam here, to the center of the roof rack and thats going to be 11-13/16. Alright next we are going to do the second rail and basically provide the same procedure as before except we will measure from the center of the front rail for proper placement. On our second measurement from the center of the crossbar to center of the crossbar will 27-9/16.
Fit Check: Testing Yakima RoundBar Crossbars on a 2009 Honda Civic
Today on our 2009 Honda Civic we're going to be test fitting the Yakima Q Towers roof rack system. We're using the 58" round bars, part number Y00409; the Q Towers foot pack, part number Y00124; and two Fit Kits, part numbers Y00699 and Y00731. Now I've already pre-assembled three of our foot packs but I want to show you how the fourth one's going to go together. You open the end of your Q Towers pack and you're going to see this gold plate inside. We'll take our Fit Kit clip and we're going to slide that in underneath, being sure that it slides into the slots located on both sides. Then we'll take our tumbler, slide up through. Now it's only going to go in there one way.
Yakima Q Tower Roof Rack Installation - 2007 Honda Civic
Today on this 2007 Honda Civic Sedan, we're going to be test fitting a Yakima Roof Rack System. We'll be using their 58-inch CrossBars, part number Y00409, the Q Towers, part number Y00124, the Q131 Clips, part number Y00731, and the Q99 Clips, part number Y00699. We already have our roof rack assembled according to the instructions and now we're ready to fit it up on our vehicle. We'll take the front crossbar assembly and set it up on top of our roof after we open the front passenger and driver doors. To position the front bar correctly, we'll need to measure 8 inches from the leading edge of the tower to the ends of the windshield on both sides. Once we've done that, we can adjust the tension screws on the towers and lock them down.
Thule Traverse Roof Rack Installation - 2007 Honda Civic
Today, we have with us a 2007 Honda Civic Sedan and we're going to be test fitting a Thule Roof Rack System. We'll be using the 58-inch Square Load Bars, part number THLB58, the Traverse Feet, part number TH480, and the Feet Kit for this vehicle, part number THKIT1425. We already have our roof rack assembled according to the instructions so now we're ready to fit it up on the vehicle. The first thing we need to do is open the front passenger and driver's side doors. We'll sit the front bar assembly up on top of the roof and then we can position it. To position the front bar, we need to measure from the edge of the windshield to the leading edge of the Traverse foot on either side.
