Let me say this to start, this system is AWESOME!! If you do not have a leveling system on your camper, this one works very , very well. I will say, the install and the learning curve takes time and is not too hard, but it's not super easy either. Once I got the system in place, and understood how to use it, the rest was a piece of cake. Take your time on the install and get help. The parts are robust and heavy, so two people make it much easier. Have sharp drill bits to drill the attachment holes. Wiring is super simple, but take your time and make sure you get all the connections good and tight and secured well with zip ties. The system requires a good strong battery, so make sure your battery is in great shape and you will not have any issues. Get the Lippert app also, it is very helpful. I love it now, when I pull my 2006 Keystone Raptor 5th wheel toy hauler into a campsite, I hit a couple buttons and the longest it has taken to level my unit is 2 minutes and 30 seconds. I love it! It puts the camper at the same level every single time, which is awesome. No guessing, no driving up and down on blocks, just push a button and walk away until the camper is perfect. Would I do this over again you ask? Absolutely. Awesome system!

I recommend this landing gear set to everyone!!!!! After 2 replacements of tandem landing gear sets performed by dealership under warranty and still struggling lifting my 5th wheel, I decided to purchase this upgrade on my own dime. Best money I’ve spent in years. These lift my 15,000-16,000 5th wheel with no issues. Consistent and quiet. I don’t stress out anytime I’m hitching or unhitching anymore. 100% recommend buying. I’ve already talked 2 of my friends to do this upgrade and they love it.

A perfect replacement for my old landing gear. Very few adjustments needed to make the legs fit perfect with my existing brackets and a little drilling for the bolt holes. Now at least I know I'll be able to unhook from my truck.

Works great as a stabilizer. I have a 38' trailer and I use screw jacks to level the trailer. Once the trailer is level I lower the stabilizer jacks to eliminate any movement. With this combination the trailer does not move one bit.

There's not a lot to say. The first Stabilizer carton was damaged to the point the carrier couldn't even find the Stabilizer. etrailer.com was very cooperative & sent a second unit out right away. Although the second shipment packaging was damaged all parts were there and undamaged. I installed the unit and it is so so much better, quieter and faster than the old unit. I highly recommend both Lippert and etrailer.com

After receiving the packages was very severely damaged and there was no Jack.Stand crank and no nuts and bolts.Don't know what else I miss

I bought 2 sets of these to level & stabilize a 7500lb smoker trailer (1 in each corner). though they do stabilize, They don't lift to level it off (meaning by inches), the weight/load rating paired with the word "Jack" is misleading. I had to use other "Jacks" to Level it first. This trailer is stays mostly on the pad I built for it on my property, and they work well once situated.

Appears to be good quality. Fit in the existing mounts. Drop leg is a bonus over what was previous.

I originally had reservations about the price because it was so good. No more, this landing gear set is every bit as good as the higher priced models. It is slightly overkill for what I need but I am extremely happy with the quality and speed of shipping. Not the first time I've ordered from etrailer and it won't be the last. Very happy with this purchase.

I am very pleased with the Reese electric 5th wheel landing gear - 8000 pounds. Installation was a little difficult because the motor flange/mount was initially hitting one of the camper’s steel members. Using a side grinder, I was able to cut off the corner (maybe 1.5x1.0 inch cut) off the each motor mount, which I felt would not harm the integrity of the motor / landing gear in any way. The installation was then straight forward. I was able to use the original weld brackets, which made installation easier. The speed while extending is rated at 9 inches of lift per minute, and I would say that is about right (although I did not actually measure it). For the electrical panel, I wanted to fit in the same enclosure as the original panel, but it was too wide. So I took tin snips and trimmed approximately 0.5 inches from each side of the panel. The trimmed panel fit perfectly into the old enclosure…. see attached photo.

Jacks went in easy using the existing brackets from my single motor jacks. Just had to install a new switch panel ( since these are independently adjustable ) and run an additional power lead since these call for individual power and ground leads for each motor. They are 4 times faster than my original single motor jacks. These claim to raise 9 inches a minute and I believe that's about correct.

Received the Kit in about four days (5 Stars for etrailer). The shipping container was severely damaged (2 stars for UPS), but at least it arrived. Did not appear any parts were missing. I ordered this kit because it was less expensive for the complete kit then to replace both landing gear legs separately. I left the 5th wheel attached to the truck and removed the old landing gear, gearbox, and motor prior to the arrival of the new system. Keep all your parts. The new kit arrived and was very easy and straight forward to install. However the tubular steel expansion rod that connects both landing gear legs was too short. I had to use the my old connection rod. Also the spacer used for the inside of the large side of the connection rod was not included with the kit. Had to use the old spacer in the old connecting rod. I used my old landing gear foot plates and pull pins on both landing gear leg extensions. Once installed, the kit worked flawlessly. I placed red marker tape on the landing gear extensions so not to top out the legs when lifting. Again save all your old parts.

New landing gear for my 2012 Cougar 5th wheel. Delivered on time (box was pretty beat up) all the parts were there and it was a perfect fit! Installed it myself in about 1 1/2 hours Bonus, it was cheaper than at Amazon. Highly recommend e trailer !

Etrailer was great and shipping was fast. However the shipping was abusive to the packaging resulting in bent shaft on leading jack, which made it impossible to install gearbox for proper operation. Being mechanically inclined I could disassemble and straighten shaft hoping no stress fractures ending its life sooner than expected, or use shaft from previous jack. But why? I bought new parts for a reason.

Delivery was on time, but the box it arrived in didn’t fair we’ll and parts were hanging out of the box! But everything was accounted for and the parts were well wrapped. Installation was very easy. The only issue was the locking pins mount plate is tack welded to the primary leg that the motor moves up and down. Those mounting plates had to be removed to install the lead and follow jacks. A grinder made short work of that. I didn’t put the mounting plates back on, instead I used my spring loaded pins that were on the old legs, they were still in good working condition. Also I didn’t use the adjustable cross over rod that came in the package . I opted to use the one that was on my old jacks, it was constructed of heaven gauge tubing and didn’t have a much (slop) movement in it. Also did not use the plastic housing gear box, I purchased a aluminum house gear box from e-trailer a few months back and used that one keeping the plastic for a spare. Very satisfied.

One of the best additions to our 5th wheel yet! I added these myself and it was not too hard, but I do have the proper tools. One install issue was around the pushout where I had to modify a bracket(see photos) We did a coast to coast and stayed in a LOT of places. These jacks worked very well as long as I got reasonably level side to side first. A few inches out is fine so most spots were a breeze, a few I needed to be on blocks so the tires did not come off the ground. The phone app is great to see initial level from the drivers seat, but I did most final leveling from the control pad. Overall great product and I recommend them especially if you are setting and breaking camp a lot.

Wiring was very easy with good instructions. The system worked on the first try and have had no issues so far. Great system. I was looking at newer campers with auto leveling and about 40 to $50,ooo if I traded my paid for camper in. Landing gear was exactly what I ordered. Prompt delivery. Package was perfect. Landing gear just not as heavy duty as I hoped. I'm sure I will be replacing it again in a few years.

Fairly easy install on my 1996 Coachman Catalina Lite 23RB 5th wheel. I had to do a little grinding on one side to make the leading leg fit. I am pleased with the installation and glad to have a working good set of landing gear. The price was great compared to what a local RV dealer wanted for the same landing gear. I saved a few hundred dollars on the landing gear. etrailer was great to work with in finding the right landing gear that would work with my 5th wheel.

Direct replacement on 2005 Pilgrim 5th wheel. Had to notch 2X4 floor joists. If I ever do this again, I’ll be a repeat customer. They have worked flawlessly since the replacement.

The Strong Arm stabilizers have worked great. After locking the stabilizers, the majority of trailer movement from walking around in the trailer has been eliminated. I highly recommend.

These are great and made our small 5th wheel rock solid, I mean night and day compared to just landing gear and rear stabilizers. I did have to do some minor fabrication for both the front and the rear. The front was due to the spare tire being mounted under the front of our rig. Also the instructions really suck as do most Lippert components instructions. Way too many words that don't really seem to be coherent, seems like just a few words and some good quality pictures would be more helpful.

Ordered a power stabilizer jack for my 2012 Jayco fifth wheel in 2023 , easy to install the item myself , stabilizer working great , will buy future items at this site , thanks

Let me start by saying this review is about the product, not e-trailer. etrailer is great. I love doing business with them. Their prices beat anybody, and the free and FAST shipping is a bonus. Now to the review of the LG-3 landing gear. The pros of this product are they are a direct replacement for the Lippert system on my trailer. No cutting, drilling or welding. They fit in the original brackets. I installed them while camping in about 2 hours with simple hand tools. The cons are they are a direct replacement for the Lippert system on my trailer. They use the same weak motor, that struggles to lift my trailer. The kit was missing bolts and pins and I had to use my old hardware until I could get back to town to buy new hardware. I wanted to go with the Bulldog 10K system, but wanted something that work with my Lippert remote system. The original system failed. I suspect this one will too. Next time I will go with something heavy enough to do the job. Check out the before and after pics and the pic of what can happen when your jacks fail and you have to resort to using hydraulic jacks to lift your trailer. A $4000.00 repair that could have been much worse.

This was just what I needed. The legs work perfectly. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5, there were pieces missing from the shipment and I had to purchase the missing items from a local hardware store. Also one gear box was locked up and I had to take it apart to find a piece of a wire tie inside blocking the gears. Once the piece of plastic was removed works like a charm. The fast delivery makes up for the slight inconvenience. The legs are holding my 5th wheel up with pride.

I should have got one years ago. I only use it when it's connected to the truck with the engine running. This I believe gives me full power. It has enough power to raise the trailer when connected to the truck to get the anti sway bars attached. Sure beats all that hand cranking.

The alternate power setup makes its slow rate of rise necessary which would be good if my lithium batteries went low. To avoid battery problems be sure to add an inline battery disconnect from the trailer power when using tow vehicle power. I simple added an inline fuse that could be removed should I need to use the tow vehicle power.
