Everything went together without a hitch and really looks good installed. * We plan on carrying our 12 1/2' SUP's on the roof rack when we head out to the lakes. * It saves us time as our SUP's are inflatable, however it takes a bit of time to pump them up once we get there. Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars - Aluminum - Silver - 59" Long - Qty 2
2016 Ram 1500The rhino rack is well made but suffers from the flat bottom rubber feet. Since nearly all cars and trucks have roof seams, foot pads should be stepped to engage the seam like other racks such as Thule does. It's unlikely that very many different shapes would be needed to fit most vehicles. Rhino tech didn't agree with my assessment.

Free delivery that showed up in 3 days!!! Can't beat it. The crossbars with the Control Towers and LandingPad 9 fit perfectly on my Honda Element. Had them installed in about 30 mins. Don't have my cargo box yet and wanted to test strength, so I had my 110lb wife standing on them with no issues (yes, the car was parked). Plan to take a long camping trip next week with a cargo box on top...wife will be in the vehicle:-)

Rhino-Rack Aero Bar Roof Rack for Camper Shells - Track Mount - Black - 59" Bars
Great seller. Excellent communication and fast shipment. Product is as described, and all the parts were included for a great install. I installed myself. I'm fairly handy, and i thought it was easy to install alone on a fiberglass Snugtop. Took about 2.5 hours. I followed the instructions included plus I used a seamstress tape measure, drill, brad-point bit, wrench for tightening fasteners, shopvac. Great looking rack.
The item was actually the Rhino-rack roof rack complete system including Aero- bars and tracks for camper shells without existing tracks ( and not the quick mount legs pictured). I received the shipment with literally half of the components missing and had to wait for the missing parts to be sent. Still ended up with one part missing so had to wait again for that part to be sent. Took a total of 3 months from the time I ordered until I had all the parts to complete installation. I still gave 4 stars due to the quality of the product ( and at half the price of a comparable Yakima system), and because of the diligence and response of representatives (Amy and Tiffini) who helped me get the missing parts. I will note however (from reviewing other posted reviews) that shipping orders for this item with missing parts, and even with half the components missing, does not appear to be an isolated event)

Nissan VersaThis rack works perfectly on my Nissan Versa for carrying my two Perception Sound 9'6" kayaks. The Rhino-Racks look good to me. The kayaks can rest directly on the rubber pads on the rails, unlike the Yakama racks I had in the past that had bare pipe rails. Also, I expect I can buy parts to adapt this product to a different car without having to buy new towers. I am sorry there are not hooks or loops to attach bungees when carrying lumber. They are noisy in the wind, but less so when carrying the kayaks.
Thanks to Etrailer, I am ready to do some serious summer exploring with my 2013 Mazda 3! Rhino Racks, Malone top box, and Kuat bike rack!

Rhino-Rack Aero Bar Roof Rack for Camper Shells - Track Mount - Black - 54" Bars
very solid rack, it's not going anywhere. Several fasteners to affix to truck cap. Clean look for the First Gen Tacoma (1999).
This is the second vehicle now that I've put the Rhino-Rack Aero Bar roof rack kit on. The instructions aren't too hard to follow with basic assembly knowledge and etrailer has a video tutorial for installation instruction which helped also. I didn't realize the allen wrench they provided also doubles as the security bolt bit you'll need when installing the brackets into the tracks so I just picked one up at the local hardware store. It's a great value for this product and I never had issues with my last kit and don't anticipate any with this one.

Ok… giving this item four stars as an overall view. The good: it fits a Jeep Wrangler perfectly. With the appropriate legs, it canvases across the entire roof of the Jeep with the legs attaching to the gutters. The bad: just a bit too noisy for my liking, even with the appropriate wind faring (I don’t expect absolute silence since I have a one touch sky top). The noise is not a big deal on short trips, but it was definitely driving my wife and kids nuts on a 2+ hour drive (stick some headphones on the kids, problem fixed) In the future, I might switch it up from these square rails and go with something a bit more aerodynamic…

Rhino-Rack Roof Rack for Thule and Yakima Tracks - 2 Heavy-Duty Crossbars - Black - 65" Long
The Rhino Rack HD crossbar kit for tracks fits my SyneticUSA Pro retractable cover perfectly. RR includes several track nuts of different sizes to match to your particular track. I love the quick detach capability of the towers and that they also lock for security. The HD bars are essentially the same dimension of 1 5/8" unistrut/superstrut so you can find all sorts of attachment hardware outside of what RR makes. This makes it easy to securely bolt your gear down to the cross bars and customize with easy to find hardware at your local home depot. The 65" HD bars are perfect for a mid size truck like my Tacoma.
The rack more than exceeded my expectations. It was easy to assemble and mount on the cap of my Tacoma truck. I was pleasantly surprised by the aerodynamics which virtually eliminate wind noise, even at highway speed. I pirchased the rack as a permanent mount for a 4rod flyrod holder which I use daily for fishing. The Rhino keeps everything “tight and right”. It has worked perfectly for nearly three hundred trips and over 15,000 miles this year.

My truck top already had Thule tracks from the factory. The Rhino rack installed into the existing tracks with no problems. The instructions were clear and intuitive and the whole process took about an hour.
Honda PilotThe Rhino-Rack roof rack worked out great for us. The install was straight forward and was easily done by one person, me. We used the rack to mount two J type kayak carriers that held two Perception Pilot kayaks and drove from the Seattle area all the way to Cabo San Lucas, including going through some wind storms in California. Everything preformed perfect.

We had the challenge of how to carry 2 kayaks this summer in addition to hauling a 30 foot gooseneck horse trailer. We have F450 crew cab with custom truck bed. We hoped to use the "head ache" bar on the truck bed to support the rear sets of Swagman Rincon supports and purchased a single Rhino Vortex bar for the forward sets on top of the cab. We have 10.5 and 12 foot kayaks and this looks to be an excellent solution. The kayaks are clear of the gooseneck trailer even in a "jackknife" position. Please note the truck bed is extra long therefore there is plenty of room forward the nose of the trailer. We have not hauled yet but will convey any issues if there are any. eTrailer tech support was excellent. Product shipped as projected. Installation took approximatly 3 hours.

I can only suspect the rhino rack will be sufficient. I am in kansas and etrailer is in missouri its been 8 days since supposedly shipped and after multiple contacts with etrailer i get no shipping info or status. only that a lable was created. horrible shipping policy and service from e trailer. I have ordered from e trailer for years but NEVER again. my recent orders all have had terrible shipping. e trailer even told me they deal with this a lot so whats that tell you? if you can find your part elsewhere in stock you better do it because e trailer is in no hurry at all to assist. they state tracking info will be sent but send none even after contacting them. they wont even investagate or refund for 14 days after the order! so when you send over 500 dollars to them they accept that and then sit on any help for 14 days via already having your hard earned money. terrible policy. its sad etrailer is going downhill like so many others. only amazon and other protected buyer places for me from now on.

Rhino-Rack Aero Bar Roof Rack for Camper Shells - Track Mount - Black - Standard - 65" Long
I have owned this Rhino Rack System with tracks and the Aero Crossbars for over a year. It has held up well during this time. I use it mainly to carry 2 kayaks totaling approximately 110 lbs. The Aero Crossbars are sturdy and easy to take on and off. The lockable bar option is a good choice for added security. With the Crossbars removed the mounting tracks are hardly noticeable as can be seen in the picture. I have been very pleased with this rack system and would recommend it.
Ordered Item: Y02-500B to mount over my Tonneau cover on my 2015 Ford F150 with a 6.5' truck bed. Mounted side rails that crossbars slide in to a piece of 2"x1" aluminum square tubing. Mounted to truck bed with compression stake pocket inserts. 65" crossbars were 2" short and had to order Item: RRVA180B-2 to get the 71" crossbars. Had to customize several parts but overall I am very happy with the outcome as there is not many options that are minimally invasive for a permanent installation. (Zero holes were drilled into truck bed all mounting was completed with compression stake pocket mounts. I am able to use all attachments for summer and winter activities. (bike mounts, snowboard mounts, paddle board SUP mounts, and fishing rod mounts) Picture with my Thule SUP Taxi mounts. Plus rack is easily removed with 4 bolts. Can also access and use bakflip tonneau cover by removing crossbars in less than 20 seconds.

Fit Kit for Thule Podium-Style Roof Rack Feet - 3101
Please see my review of Thule risers this Fit Kit was used with, as well as, Flint Hill basket. Same pic below as there. Weakest element of this item are the clips that fit into slots to secure it to - whatever - in my case, a Retrax Pro, manual Tonneau cover on the bed if my truck. See pic. Hard to visualize appropriate, secure placement. Seem to be working, but major test to come.

My setup - Thule - Super easy to setup. Thule Goalpost Hitch Mounted Load Bar (TH997) Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbar (RRVA150B) and associated fit kit - Single set Solid construction but the directions for the Rhino-Rack components are worthless. Look online to get general idea of installation.

Speaker 1: Today, on our 2018 Ford F150, we'll be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Yakima BedRock Truck Bed Cargo Rack, part number: Y01140-78.The Yakima system is going to be a great solution for carrying your vehicle accessories in your truck bed as well as on top of your truck bed. It's going to empty up more space so you can carry things like bike racks, kayak carriers and skis and snowboards.The adjustable towers make it easy to change up our crossbar spread for any accessory we are using. Our clamps are also going to be key-to-like with a lock on there to prevent any theft or tampering. Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Ford F150 we'll be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Rhino Rack Roof Rack System. This is going to consist of the Rhino Rack Vortex Arrow Crossbars, part number RRVA150B-2, the Rhino Rack 2500 Series Legs, part number RRRLKVA, and the Fit Kit for our F150, part number DK427. Now, keep in mind that our crossbars are also available in silver with part number RRVA150S-2The Rhino Rack Roof Rack System gives us an opportunity to carry more gear inside our truck bed as well as on our roof, whether those are bike racks, ski and snowboard carriers, or kayak carriers. The aerodynamic shape of our crossbars is going to help to reduce wind noise and drag. On our crossbar end cap you'll see we have this plastic lock core here. This does lock, but you can replace those with metal lock cores, which will add more safety and security.

You're going to have two kits of these, and this is the base clip fit kit for the F150. The Yakima Jet Stream Roof Rack System is great for carrying a wide variety of objects up on the top of your roof while freeing up space both inside your vehicle and in the bed of the truck. It can also serve as an extension for your ladder rack if you have one on your truck for carrying loads such as ladder, lumber, or whatever it is you're hauling.

Part number Y03536, and this is the round bar SL adaptor for the Yakima baseline towers, and part number Y06122, and this is the fit kit for the Ford F150. Part number Y00146, these are the Base Line Towers for the Yakima Cross Bars, and part number Y006122. This is the Base Clip Fit Kit for you Ford F150. The Yakima Core Bar Roof Rack System is great for carrying a wide variety of accessories on your roof, while freeing up space inside your truck and your truck bed. It can also be used in conjunction with your ladder rack, to act as an extension for your longer ladder racks, or lumber, or whatever it is you're hauling. The two bars have a combined carrying capacity of 220 pounds, although you want to double check with your vehicle's manual to make sure your roof can withstand that weight. It also has these end caps that do come with knock outs that you can replace with Yakima Same Key Systems, so once you install this on your roof it will stay on your roof.

Today on this 2016 Ford F150 we're going to be test fitting the Rhino Rack Vortex Aero Roof Rack System. As you can see we have the front one already installed, let's go ahead and show you have the rear one goes on. Once you get the kit, here's what you're pretty much going to get with it, with the exception of the roll tape here. You're going to get the two measuring strips, the legs, the foot pads, the hooks, and the covers that will actually lock up the legs once you have them installed. We have the left one installed, let's go head and move on to the other. I'll flip this around for you. Go head and take our leg here, line it up with the track, slide it in.

Thule Roof Rack Review - 2015 Ford F-150
Today on our 2015 Ford F-150, we're doing a test fit of the Thule Traverse Aero Bar Roof Racking System. The Thule Aeroblades, part number is T-H-A-R-B-6-0. The Thule Rapid Traverse Foot Pack, T-H-4-8-0-R, and the Thule Fit Kit is T-H-K-I-T-1-7-8-7. Now we already have the first one already on. I'd like to show you how we install the second one now. All right, we have a table here with our crossbar, we have our foot pad and this is our Fit Kit, the pad and the clip, plus we have a tool that comes with it. Our tape measurement does not include it but we have one to take a couple of measurements. We're going to install our Foot Kit.
