2012 Ford F-150I like to think my Westin Grille Guard is the best compared to some of the others I have seen on the road. I have the polished stainless and I do not see one bit of rust or discoloration. I do wish though that the bolts that hold the grille onto the truck were polished stainless or came with caps to cover the zinc oxide bolts that are used for the installation.

Very easy to install, the removal of the tow hooks was a little difficult to remove because of the cosmetic covers but after the first one, the second one came off easier. Then the installation of the Bull bar was a breeze and very easy to adjust. Very happy with the product and love the new look of my truck.

2006 Ford F-150 Westin Sportsman Grille Guard: Complete Installation
Today on our 2006 Ford F-150 4WD, we'll be installing the Westin Grille Guard part number 40-2015. Note the install for this application will be similar to a 2WD but we'll be following the 4WD install procedures. To begin we'll need to remove the manufacturer's tow hook. There's two. One on each side and each one is held in with two fasteners. We'll remove the fasteners and the tow hooks. Now after we remove the tow hook and fasteners, we'll go ahead and pull the old nut plate out of the frame that held the fasteners tight.
Westin Off-Road Driving Lights Installation - 2006 Ford F-150
Today on our 2006 Ford F-150, we'll be installing the Westin Off Road Driving Lights, part number 09-0505. We're going to mount these on the Westin Sportsman Grille Guard that has already been installed on the truck. To begin our install, our grille guard has mounting points for the lights already. We'll go ahead and locate the attachment points and remove the rubber plugs. Now to secure the light to the bar, the stud will go down through the light bar, then we'll install a flat washer, a split lock washer and secure with a nut. Let's go ahead and set out light in place and then we'll install our hardware. There's our flat washer, our split lock washer and then the nut. With our hardware finger tight, we'll make any necessary adjustments to the light and then tighten it down.
