Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2"
Took me a few hours to install but I am 86 years old and worked on my driveway, had no problems with the hitch or the wiring set. Works great.!!!
I recently ordered 13465 class III hitch and this C55546 vehicle wiring harness for my 09 Chrysler 300C. It was very easy to install and times provided were very close. It took me just about two hours to install the hitch and harness. I did however stray a bit from the instructions on the harness though to make it more permanent and secure. Drilled hole in trunk floor pan and ran harness through it with some wire loom and a grommet. Then drilled a small hole in flat part of safety chain bracket on hitch to secure harness to hitch. I was a first time customer and would diffently use etrailer.com again.

This hitch is pretty heavy duty. I just finished installing it on my 09'300C Heritage Edition. Once I was able to get a tap through the welded on bolt on the car frame the rest went pretty smoothly, considering that I'm 64 and was laying on my back in the garage. I haven't crawled under a car in years. The installation instructions were pretty clear, it took me longer than the estimated 30 minutes. I was doing it by myself though. The fish wires for the carriage bolts and metal bar worked out great! I left the wires on so I could make sure I didn't push the bolts back through the holes, and removed them when I was ready for the washer and nut. I checked the fit of my Rocky Mounts platform bike rack, also purchased from etrailer, and it fits perfectly, with plenty of clearance when folded upward. The box was a bit damaged upon arrival, shipped via UPS. However, the hitch was unscathed. I'm very happy with my purchase from etrailer. This saved me a couple hundred dollars in installation fees from my local Trailer Sales dealer.
An excellent product, in addition to excellent product support. The stuff I needed shipped fast and was well packaged to make sure nothing was damaged. The installation was made as easy as possible with a variety of supporting videos from the company on various makes and models to help you along every step of the way. If your on the fence, and nervous I'd recommend buying irregardless. You wont regret it!

Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class II - 1-1/4"
Draw Tite 1-1/4 Class 2 Hitch in stalled on a 2016 Dodge Charger SRT 392. Well made hitch. Easy to follow video online. Took about an hour. The SRT has 2 exhaust temp sensors that you need to unplug, and that was the only difference in the install video. The kit came with very useful pre threaded pieces of mechanics wire. These made installing the bolts very easy. The hitch sits up tight against the bottom of the rear valence so it adds the minimal to the clearance. I bought this to attach my bike racks to and the drawtite was the only one that said it did not need stabilizing straps to use a bike carrier. I was worried about it dragging. My front drags lightly on my driveway. My hitch did not. I am using a 1 Up USA carrier but any 1-1/4 mount will work. The SRT 392 is lower than standard chargers so really steep driveways may scrape. I am pleased with the product, price, instalation. Thank you E-Trailer.
Bought the hitch strictly for a bike rack and it works perfectly. Put it on my wife’s 2018 Charger SXT (the V6). It has a 1.5” lowering kit, so I was a little worried about scraping, but so far so good - no issues. The directions to remove the fascia were super misleading. I eventually found a YouTube video that helped immensely. FYI, on the 2018 there are no bolts or clips that need to be removed from the bottom edge, but you do have to pull the tail lights. My exhaust was entirely welded, so I just removed all the hangers and supported it with a tow strap, which provided enough play and space to get the bolts into the frame. Bolted up fairly easily - Solid hitch!

Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class II - 1-1/4"
we brought the hitch and wire harness for our 2010 Chrysler 300. it works great. my husband watched the videos on both and the installation went smoothly. we had one issue in that the wrong hitch was delivered. I called and talked to a women ( sorry I wish I remembered her name) she was amazing very helpful and we had the right hitch that afternoon. I don't know how she pulled it off but we were extremely happy as leaving on a vacation that week. would recommend the product to other looking. I would like to again thank the women on the phone for all her help and assistance
The Hitch went in pretty well. Moving the muffler was a pain, but not the hitch's fault. The pre-installed buts were corroded , so I needed to make a run to the hardware store and pick up a 12mm Tap. If corrosion is common in your area (e.g. salted roads) you may just plan on needing that type of assistance.

Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2"
Came 2 days early, didn't take my money till they ship it. Plus I never like to order anything online because I'm afraid it won't fit. But they said it would an it did( 2016 chevy traverse). Also it says 45 mins to install. Sounds About right 10 mins asking the wife an kids to help hold it up with no luck, 10 mins looking for my tools 18mm & 3/4 wrench,10 mins looking at the picture of the instructions because what GUY really reads it? lol, 10 mins putting it on by myself laying on my back in the driveway using my leg to hold it up & 5 mins putting on 1 bolt by the muffler because I didn't read the instructions an lower the muffler out of my way hahahah. P.s is you have soft hands I suggest wearing gloves an waiting for the muffler to cool off because i didn't ??. But all in all it was easy & fast to put on even if your by yourself. Definitely ordering again if I need anything for her car. Thanks etrailer
The instructions were spot on The videos were extremely helpful Price was great, and buying the trailer hitch, wiring harness, and fuse together as a package made the project easy. I would not hesitate to do that again when necessary.

Great product and easy install with someone assisting. I really like that it is practically hidden and only the hitch receiver opening is visible which is slightly recessed from the bumper. Pictures show hitch with bike rack installed in the upright position with perfect clearance from tailgate.
Hitch fit perfectly on 06 GMC Canyon. Shipment came quickly which was nice, ahead of schedule. UPS was UPS so the box was pretty messed up and the hitch was exposed in multiple areas. Not a big deal because it is a hitch after all, but there are some paint chips/cracks that will now have to be repaired to prevent rust. Etrailer offered to send me a can of the recommended paint from the manufacture or credit me $10 to purchase my own, so that is a plus. Install was pretty easy, I did it myself. I would recommend install with another person if you can but it is doable, took about 45 minutes. Braced one side with 2x6 blocks so I could get one bolt in on one side, then raised the other side and got another in. Once that was done and there was no danger of having to hold the weight of the hitch, it was pretty easy to get the other two main bolts in. Tape the metal blocks like the directions suggest! Also came with a great guide wire that threaded on the smaller bolts that had to be put in about 12 inches into the frame. I usually just make my own and tie it but this was excellent and made things rather easy. The one snag I hit was the last main bolt, mainly because I was installing myself. I had to get the bolt in but push up on not only the hitch, but the bumper as well so the bolt could thread. That was a lot of weight to push up on with shoulder/leg while on a creeper. Once I get the rust repair paint looks like I have some other rust to take care of as well. Thanks Etrailer, great product, great service.

Just as most of the other reviews have said, the hitch is nice but it does require removal of about 3/4” off the bottom of the license plate bracket. Only two hole holes lined up and you have to either drill them out or weld on. Other than that it’s a nice hitch
Fit my 1984 K10 Chevy short bed great! Fairly easy install.

Nice hitch. Unfortunately it broke through the box during shipping. UPS is tough on bulky heavy products but having zero packing material to keep it from sliding around in the box is more of the root cause problem in my opinion. This hitch has very little clearance at the receiver tube and bumper facier. I wasn’t able to use the anti rattle clamp that I also purchased.
Great hitch. Installed myself. Fairly straightforward. Recommend having something to hold the hitch in the up position while under the car to assist while installing. Only complaint, no torque rating for the bolts that hold the hangers. That would be helpful.

etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2"
I have a mobile sharpening business and have an enclosed cargo trailer that I work out of. We just purchased a Dodge Durango and needed a hitch and wiring harness to pull the trailer. I have never installed a hitch or wiring harness before, but etrailer.com has the instructions posted so you can read them before making a purchase. It seemed easy enough, so I made my order. The order shipped the next business day and arrived in two days! Installing the hitch was a very simple process of removing 4 bolts, lifting the hitch into place, and reinstalling the 4 bolts. (Hint: If you’re installing on a Durango, or possibly other vehicles, lower the spare tire and get it out of the way. If you have big hands like me, it will be much easier to get to the bolts.) This hitch tucks very nicely under the bumper. There is no worry about banging your shins on it! It looks good too. If you are needing a hitch but are reluctant to try to install it yourself… don’t fret! etrailer.com has very clear instructions that are easy to understand. I would highly recommend this to ANYONE needing a hitch and wants to save a few bucks by installing it yourself.
So far, the hitch meets expectations. I have not used it for hauling a trailer, but I don't see how it couldn't perform that function. I am waiting to install the wiring harness until this weekend. We would only use this hitch for small trailers. This was installed on a 2022 Dodge Durango GT Plus. I chose to buy this model because it was promoted as being built in the USA. I saw sub $100 versions available on Amazon, but I didn't want to roll the dice on Chinese quality. The purchase/checkout process was efficient and easy. Shipping was quick and the hitch was packaged adequately in a large box. No damage to the finish was noted from shipping and handling. The minor scuffs noted were probably there from the manufacturing process. INSTALLATION: the process is not difficult, but there was a major difference on our vehicle that was not addressed in the included instructions or the online video. There is a large, semi-circular plastic shield to protect the spare. This shield MUST be addressed so that you do not have a layer of plastic between the metal parts of the hitch and frame rail. Eventually the plastic will crack and fall out, leaving the bolts loose. All you need is a 10mm deep well socket to remove the nuts and you will then have enough room to slip the sides of the hitch *behind* the plastic. Once the bolts are torqued in place (I also used Red Loctite and reduced the torque by 4 lb-ft for wet threads) the plastic cover can be forced in enough to reinstall the nuts.

EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2"
Perfect fit 2021 VW Golf TSi Wiring harness worked well. Pro tip: tap into rear cigarette power for harness power. It's fused and under utilized. Towed 4x8 U haul 800 miles with 600 lbs motorcycle inside no problem.
Installation was relatively easy, hitch functions well. After less than 1 year of use, the hitch has a significant amount of rust. I would not recommend this product, especially for the price. I would appreciate a replacement hitch or my money back since the rust is slowly spreading to the frame of my otherwise rust-free car.

Well made, well finished and heavy duty product! If you are even halfway handy, you can install this yourself. Like anything, fitting is exact.
Product was all there but arrived with shipping damage. Might want to think about how to keep the heavy items from moving in the shipping carton or protect the outside edges with cardboard or something. I'll touch up the paint but wanted to give some feedback, you guys seem pretty receptive to input. Other than that there was good communication through the whole process. Fast service. Thank you.

Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver - Custom Fit - 2"
Installed this Stealth Hitch on our 2017 BMW 330i. Liked the idea of a hidden hitch for that car since when the bike rack is off the car the hitch is not visible. A little (LOT) disappointed that it requires that you "discard the reinforcement beam" since the BMW reinforcement beam goes nearly the full width of the car and extends out a foot longer on each side than the hitch bar. Now the bumper has NO reinforcement on the sides beyond the Stealth Hitch, so if any low speed impact at the corner there is only the plastic bumper cover there for protection and could allow damage to the lights and rear quarter panel, in addition to the bumper cover. There is no reinforcement at and to the edge of the car beyond where the hitch bolts to the car. No reflection on etrailer. Delivery was quick and included in the price. The Hitch fit perfectly, and it took me less than 2 hours to install. Would be an Excellent Rating if not for the Poor reinforcement by Steatlh Hitches.
This hitch is AWESOME. It's super heavy duty, and very well made. I purchased this for my wife's 2015 BMW 4 series convertible, so we can roll with the top down when we take the bikes out for a ride... absurd, I know - but it's so much fun. Install was pretty straightforward - followed the instructions, watched the youtube install video, and set aside 4 hours on a nice Saturday morning for the job. It took maybe 3 hours in total, start to finish. I put the car up on ramps (which made access much easier), but in retrospect I should've put the rear end on jackstands and pulled the rear wheels off - would've save probably 15 or 20 minutes fiddling with the wheelwell splashguard bolts. Top tip - if you don't have a really small ratchet for these bolts, and leave the wheels on, you'll wish you did. The hitch mounting process is really straightforward, but be aware you do need to have a handful of tools and sockets that the avg. homeowner probably wouldn't have... 18mm deep socket, 15/16" deep socket, 15/16" wrench, and tin snips. Helps quite a bit to have an impact driver, but if you don't, make sure to have some 1/4 to 1/2 adapters and a bar for leverage on your ratchet. In general, this is a very do-able, reasonably easy job if you're handy, and just take your time. Follow the instructions on trimming the heat shield, and you'll end up with only a single bolt that won't get reinstalled. I had to reshape my heat shield in a few places - see pics - (another top tip - don't take it off the car... you can cut and reshape while it's in place, and use the hitch bracket to mark where the heat shield needs to be "massaged" in order to make it fit). Definitely follow the instructions for where to cut for access to the receiver - perfect amount of room to install and remove it without worrying about accidentally touching a hot exhaust. Once installed, you really can't tell the hitch is there, it's awesome! We paired this with the Yakima 4 bike tilting mount (takes a 1-1/4" and 2" receiver), and I'm so glad we went with the 2" hideaway hitch. I can see how the 1-1/4" hitch could wiggle a bit, but the 2" has an adjustable shim that keeps things nice and tight. We loaded up three bikes on it this am, and took it out for a mix of highway and backroads driving and it handled it all very well. On the twisty backroads, I really gave it the beans and it still felt really solid with very little sway. Bikes stayed put the entire time. Very happy with the purchase - they're definitely both VERY well made and high quality items. I expect they'll last the duration of my ownership of the convertible at least, and we're planning to put 2,000 + miles on this setup later in the summer - will report back with a long term review after we do. ... oh, and if you're wondering (like I was), if you can raise and lower the top with a bike rack in the hitch, and bikes on the rack, the answer is yes... you can =)

TorkLift SuperHitch Magnum Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V - 2"
I’ve had the superhitch with 24” extension mounted on my 2013 Ram 2500 for 1 year now and use it frequently to pull my 16 x 7 enclosed trailer with my motorcycle and other gear inside. The hitch and extension give me the towing capacity I need for pulling trailers behind my Lance Truck Camper. I highly recommend the SuperHitch!
Not a bad install, they say 1 hour but it took me and my son 2 hours. If I hadn't helped he could have been done in 1 1/2 hours. Monster hitch with this attached to the Ram OEM hitch. Very well made and really an easy install. Hardest part was making sure we had the correct bolt holes on the frame. Did need to bend the heat shield over the spare (I actually cut it with snips)

Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Towing Kit - Custom Fit - 2"
The quality of this trailer hitch package was great. Everything fit perfectly, the instructions were complete and easy to follow and the company was great to deal with. I wish all products and suppliers were this easy to use and efficient. Our car is a 2016 BMW M235i X drive convertible. It was a bit scary removing the bumper and tail lights but it went very smooth. A friend had a hoist available and the total installation took me about 3 hours with medium mechanical skills. The hitch is totally hidden when the receiver is removed.
Very straightforward installation on my 2016 BMW 228i. Super clean finished project. All parts look and feel very high quality. I tow my racing kart on a small Harbor Freight trailer. It's super secure. With my car packed and the trailer hitched at 65 mph I get 28mpg! Note the hitch is very heavy and a bit of yoga is required to plug it in & out. When removing your bumper cover, be careful not to rip out your parking sensors. Maybe have someone to catch the cover while you pop it free from the car.

Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2"
Hitch went up super fast and straightforward.
The good: Arrived quickly. This is my second order from etrailer. I’ve been impressed with their customer service and product. The bad: Hardware package had fallen out which messed up my install schedule. etrailer got a new hardware package out quickly but I was out of town. I wish I had checked package immediately because I didn’t notice until install day. Installation still hasn’t happened due to scheduling conflicts. I was leaving for a 2 week mountain bike trip and wasn’t able to mount my rack.
