Perfect fit, easy to install, arrived super fast!

I'm glad there was this replacement cover, so I didn't have to redo the whole vent. It fit perfectly and your DIY video is perfect. It would be nice if the cover were sold with a strip of the rubber seal that goes around the metal vent base. My original strip has a big dent in it where the original hardware pushed down on it.

Arrived quickly and was easy to install.

I have a 16ft 1972 Brougham travel trailer,and my old vent lid disintegrated.I wasn't sure which vent lid to get.I measured the square hole on the roof and it is 13 inches square. I also needed to be sure of the hinge.The hinge portion on the vent cover is 9 inches.After I removed the screws from the vent lid raising mechanism, and disconnected it from the vent lid rail,I went up top,and opened up one side of the rolled metal hinge.Then the roof vent lid slides off to one side.Then you just slide the new roof vent lid onto the hinge,and bend down the tab to secure it.You then reattach the mechanism inside the trailer.Its actually very easy to do,with just a Phillips and straight slot screwdriver. I attached photos of what remained after my lid was blown off completely which shows the hinge and lifting rail that come with a new roof vent cover attached.I also showed a close up of the hinge and the little tab that is bent in on both sides to keep the lid from sliding sideways. Finally I have pics of the new lid installed.I was happy with this product,and didn't realize you could just replace the vent lid so easily.

Ventline Ventadome Roof Vent 14 1/4X14 1/4. Shipping was prompt, product arrived intact. Had to get the #10 stainless screws to install (expected them to be included) plus the butyl tape and lap sealant which I knew from the description I'd need to buy seperately. The install went without any issues. I was expecting it to fit with no trimming but ended up needing to trim each corner on my 14 1/2 inch opening. My roof thickness was right at 1 inch so needed to trim down the trim strip. How will it do in a driving rain? To be continued.....

This vent is well made and assembly was very easy. Installed with a liberal bead of flex seal caulk and flex seal aerosol as final sealant.

The cover came very quickly and securely in the mail, very durable, well constructed and stream-lined. Installed fairly easily with your on line installation Tudors. Unfortunately my base has a different type hinge, so a few minor challenges, but for the most part doable. I still need to find a friction clip to secure my top to the actuator mechanism, but hopefully I can find it locally. Our Arizona sun destroys most plastics as our original cover had failed in about five years. I am very pleased with my new cover top, looking to it meeting and exceeding our needs!

I just installed this vent less than a week ago. I’m just hoping the metal vent versus the plastic one I originally had on the trailer will hold up to the weather longer.Only time will tell though. The edges of the metal around the roof flange are razor sharp. I cut my hands three or four place's. If there’s any way the factory can round these edges off better so they’re not quite as sharp.

The Ventline Ventadome was a nice upgrade to the plastic-topped roof vent I had on previously (which had a large crack in it). Super happy with the perfect fit and it opens very smoothly. Our pop-top trailer is aluminum so it blended in nicely.

Installed this vent into my Haulmark Transport 6'x12' enclosed trailer. Installation was easy, I cut a 14.25" x 14.25" inch hole between two crossmembers in the roof and dropped it in place. Because the roof on this enclosed trailer is so thin, I used a piece of 3/8" plywood so sandwich between the interior garnish and actual vent. I cut the same size hole into the plywood and left a 2" lip all around. I use 28 #8 x 5/8" stainless screws to hold it in place, pre-drilled with 1/8" bit. I then used roofing tar to seal the vent and put masking tape all around, leave 1" from the flange to ensure good coverage. I then removed the masking tape, leaving nice clean lines. Interior garnish is held in place by #8 x 3/8" galvanized screws. Huge kudos to etrailer for carrying such awesome products for great low prices and offering super cheap shipping to Canada!

Bought this to replace original bath fan (Maxxair) when the raising mechanism broke. I ordered it from etrailer on a Wednesday, and it was delivered on Friday....super fast delivery. Easy install, and I think we will really like it's features (i.e. 10 speed reversible fan, rain proof cover).

The vent arrived on time. When I had a question about cutting it to fit the thickness of the rv roof, I was given good advice in a call to etrailer.

I was expecting a larger trim, probably should have read the description better.

My order arrived more quickly than I expected and in good condition. The included single piece of paper (instructions) are absolutely useless. If you haven't done this before, watch a video or two before you start. My vent now works and I'm a happy camper. etrailer came through again!

This fan has worked great for my motor home. If you need a stronger breeze, this may not be the fan for you.

Our hunt club has 2 pit blinds that are used for waterfowl hunting. Each blind is essentially a concrete box with walls, floor and top 4 inches thick and dimensions of 12'x5'x5'. Each blind is buried to a depth of 5 foot to where the top is flush with ground level. Access is through the top using 24 inch wide manhole lids that are made of high density plastic. The cooler air inside of the blinds clashing with warmer air absorbed by the concrete and manhole lids at ground level caused condensation that made the inside damp and smelly. We only hunt 3 months each year, so needed a vent solution for the other 9 months the blinds were not in use. We also needed something that could be powered by DC voltage from a solar panel due to the remote location. In July 2015 we installed each fan into a manhole cover and used water-tight conduit and electrical boxes to run the wiring from the solar panel to each fan. Great solution! Once enough daylight hits the solar panel the fan blades start moving and run constantly until sundown. Will see how long these things last but so far so good

I went to a local trailer parts store and they said they don't make the correct sized vent dome for my trailer. I was really bummed out. Then I checked with etrailer and they said they have the part that would likely fit. Low and behold, it was an exact fit! etrailer is the best!

Seams like it is nice. I need the slide piece under the cover attached to the arm as well. Mine was broken when the wind tore off my cover. I can not find anyone who sells that part or can tell me where to order it. If you can help me out let me know. Thanks

Delivered as promised in fine shape. MaxxFan fit perfectly in existing 14X14 opening. Simple install and is functioning as designed.

This fan was great. I had an issue initially with the motherboard and the company replaced it ASAP at no charge. Really good customer service and an excellent fan!.

Installed on a SxS utv roof for ventilation on warmer days. It gives a much more comfortable ride. Very glad I took the time to install it.

A great solution to increase the air flow in my UTV. 2024 RZR. I removed the screen to increase more air flow. I think this increases air flow twice as much. Easy install!!!!! I placed it on the roof.

Very nice addition to my Seismic. Should have came already with the trailer since the trailer is $$$$$. The remote is crazy BIG and its wall mount cradle is not design for RV use. Leave the remote in the wall mount cradle while in transport will soon produce a ejected/broken remote :(

Still good after a year, no issues. Controller batteries for remote seem to last about a year

Product arrived clean in a good shipping box. No issue at all. HOWEVER - installation was more challenging for 2023 Airstream Globetrotter since you pretty much need remove entire fan assembly from top and bottom to install bracket and it is 2 men job. Doable but is challenging install. took about 2.5 hrs from start to finish.

2014 Palomino 1225 replacement vent cover, fits perfectly.

Part was good quality. And fits ok. I thought I was buying a direct replacement but had to modify the the vent on the camper so the lid would fit.

This part was a direct replacement for what was broken in my toy hauler. It was easy to install and I have had no concerns since it was installed.

I’m writing this review before installing the vent so I can’t attest to its durability/longevity. This is a lightweight unit but it should suffice for use about three times a year for a couple of days at a time. This unit is affordable; well under $200. It is a next step up from a passive vent with no fan.

I ordered this sewer vent cover one day and received it the next! I only needed the very top cap portion and was able to install it with no problems by myself ( I am a nearly 70 year old woman by the way :)) The nearest RV shop is 90 miles away so including the gas to get there I am sure I saved myself a bundle for a service shop repair. Great product and they look great. One of the covers was missing some hardware. It appeared the bag opened in transport and most of the screws were in the box. I think the one lock washer and nut must have slipped through the crease in the box. Perhaps the hardware needs to be secured better in the shipping box.

Purchased this instead of replacing the roof vent dome/cover. Now it can breathe and never have to worry about rain getting in. If you are going to install this over a roof vent leave extra room near the hing side so that the vent will open. Instructions say to center it. The Camco cover does have slots to adjust it's forward and back location if needed. The smoke color lets in more light than I thought it would!
