Best Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Truck Tool Boxs

I installed this box in conjunction with my Bak Revolver X4, on my 2015 Chevy Silverado. The box itself is good, I wish that both sides of the cover had a latch, it feels like the right side of the box is lifted higher than the locked side, I don't know if water can get in, it sits under my tonneau. It will work with the X4 cover, however, you need to mount the box brackets to the bracket that attaches to the bedrails first, otherwise you cannot fit the bracket in between the two rails, it sandwiches it. Took two guys about an hour and a half to get it set correctly. Not a deal breaker, but there were some cuss words. After it was aligned and tightened down, my tools fit in there just fine, and I was happy. With my truck, I can still slide a 6' A frame ladder under the box, however, I have to put it under feet first. Just a heads up for any weekend side-jobbers out there.

Overall the box worked well. My only issue is it takes up far too much of the bed and does not work well with covers that also have side brackets. The two bracket systems together put the box more to the middle of the bed.

I will work perfectly. I am putting it on a 10'by 6'utility trailer. The trailer bed is going to have indoor outdoor carpeting on the bed. I will use it to carry pontoon boats, and the chest for oars, and life vests.

This tool box has worked flawlessly for the year it has been installed. No issues with access while towing my fifth wheel. All I have done is keep the locks and handles lubicated. Highly recommended.

Steve Texas Received the UWSO7730 low profile toolbox in perfect condition. The box inside a box shipping container worked as designed. A heavy-duty little box for sure, couldn't be happier with the purchase. Two thumbs up.

The box is great but was badly damaged in shipping. Will have to be returned, is beyond minor repairs.

Awesome UWS toolbox and excellent service from etrailer.com. The toolbox fits my F150 perfectly, and I had to install new Back Rack mounts. The toolbox is large enough to hold all the hitches, compression straps, tow straps, jumper cables, and bungee nets that were piled high behind our seats. It arrived in perfect condition, and it locks easily. It also opens with only one handle. The toolbox is the perfect size so I still have access to the area underneath for plastic tubs, or the front end of kayaks. Score a really great one for etrailer.com and UWS.

Awesome “tool” box. Yes, small enough to clear out my back seat area. And some jumper cables, and some camping gear, and miscellaneous items. It arrived well packaged. It took me about 10-15 minutes to install - heck, it took me just as long to unpack it. Not damaged. My truck is a short bed and I need as much space as necessary - camping stuff or a mountain bike or a kayak or two, you know, the usual “weekend warrior” stuff.

I like the size and drawer arrangement, but the front door hinge is starting to rust.

I pull a 42-foot fifth wheel with a ram 3500 diesel. I purchased this tank to extend my range before I need to fuel up again. With this extra 40 gallon capacity I can usually get to a campsite and then unhook and find cheaper diesel away from the interstate. I installed a inline fuel pump with a switch on the dash so when I get down to a quarter of a tank I flip the switch and keep on rolling. A great product from etrailer, well-built and serves my purpose.

IT SEEMS TO BE WATER TIGHT FOR TRAVEL. IT HAS KEPT DUST OUT AS WELL. IT IS VERY PRACTICAL FOR WHAT I USE IT FOR, WHICH IS HAULING WHEEL CHOCKS, JACK AND TIRE EQUIPMENT, TOW ROPES, GAS CAN, ETC.

The box is good quality and it fits on my atv. It has a dust and rain gasket on the lid but, it doesnt have any latches to keep the lid closed. I guess I missed that in the description because it doesn't say there are latches, it just says its lockable. If it had a latch it would get 5 stars. Doing bisiness with etrailer is easy and totally convenient

Exactly as advertised. Fits the trailer tongue perfect. Poly box won't rust / dent. I'll mount it when the weather breaks but foresee no problems. Thanks guys. Great product, great (timely) service.....Gary S

Box fit great. Installed in minutes with no drilling holes in truck.The black finish matched truck perfectly.I like the lid that raises automatic but stops before hitting the cab of the truck.

Use it daily, no problems at all.

Incredibly well packaged. Look at UWS website for vid. Of how meticulous they are. Watch other videos for installation. Matter of minutes. Very well constructed. Only gripe I have is e trailer video showing measurements shows 12in.front to back (depth). In reality 4 in.up from the bottom, around the entire box sets in one inch thus leaving only 10 inches of space,not 12 for the bottom 4 inchesofthebox. Cohld havebeenamoreaccuratemeasurement. I cannotseethe lid from my rear view mirror which I like. About a foot of space under the box for cargo. A definite plus in a short bed. Best on line price was from e trailer. Arrived in 6 days direct from manufacturer. Very pleased overall, no more stuff on the floor of my cab.
