K-Source Universal Towing Mirror - Clip On - Convex Mirror - Qty 1
After years of replacing mirrors from other sources I purchased a pair of these. There fantastic, plenty of adjustments. Got covid on vacation, really sick and did not properly install mirror. Not broken but scratched badly from asphalt at 55 mph. Purchased a replacement, scratched one is my spare.
These mirrors are good, but not great. I bought these because nothing else fits my 2004 Ford Expedition. They allow me to see around my trailer much better than the factory mirrors, but the have a slight vibration driving down the road. They also make a very noticeable noise from the wind going between the factory mirror and this product. Finally, one of the straps came off when I tightened it a bit too much, but didn't break. The picture below was done in humor (I took my trailer through a drive through, thought it was really funny, and had to take a picture. The picture is a good shot of the mirrors.)

K-Source Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirrors - Clip On - Pair
These worked great on my wife's Yukon. Installation instructions were clear and direct. They held up very well traveling 75 mph down the interstate; No jostling around or coming loose. I loved the additional two mirrors. Having the three total different angles while pulling a trailer was extremely helpful. Would highly recommend this setup.
ordering was easy. the product was delivered quickly and without damage. I have a 2023 Colorado Z71 and was concerned about how the towing mirrors were going to attach to the tapered factory mirrors. the fit is superb. no movement during use so far.. I would recommend these to a friend.

K-Source Universal Towing Mirrors - Clip On - Convex Mirror - Qty 2
After reading lots of reviews on several mirrors, I decided to buy the K-Source Universal Towing Mirrors. Oh how I wish my truck could use the ones that slip over the existing mirrors! I was prepared for a fight, based on reviews, and boy did I get one! I truly needed a third hand when figuring out how to attach these. I was bound and determined that I could do this on my own. No mirrors were going to defeat me! I did ask my husband to come look at them. He started to help but I shewed him away. After a lot of words that don’t normally come out of my mouth and a few tears, the first one was on! Then I had to go do it again in the other side! I’m pretty sure the neighbors heard me yelling. But I persisted! Lo and behold, this 67 year old Grammy did it! It was clear they would not stay on by themselves, so I grabbed a couple of bungee cords and wrapped them around the housing and they aren’t going anywhere. I have left them on my truck. No way I’m going thru that every time we return from camping. I will take them off at the end of camping season. Delivery was really fast. I was disappointed that one box was brand new and the other was smashed and taped, an obvious return. I would have been very unhappy if there was a piece missing or if something was wrong since this was my first purchase with etrailer. Overall, the mirrors work, they do not shake and I find I don’t use the truck mirrors now. Very happy with my purchase.
Fitted on 2024 Toyota Tundra SR5 CrewMax Cab w/ Stock Mirrors No vibration issues with either mirror. Turned left and right side clip on mirrors vertical so the did not overlap truck mirrors. Right side no problem with attachment and was able to adjust truck mirror. Could also see father back along right side of a 24’ travel trailer than just looking in truck mirror. Don’t expect to see behind on right side any vehicles tucked up close. Left side mirror attachment had to be modified so I could adjust truck mirror without interfering with clip on mirror lower L “hooks”. I put a rubber blocks under the lower L hooks so they were low enough to get under truck mirror glass yet still clamp to truck mirror housing. A picture tells the story. 7,000 km/4,200 miles later and neither mirror has loosened or moved. No vibration or distortion. Yes, I ran 2 zip ties as safety “chains” from the back straps to truck mirror arm just in case, they’re barely snug. I recommend these.

CIPA Universal Fit Towing Mirror - Clamp On - Adjustable Length - Steel
Mirrors work exactly as intended, greatly improving rear vision when towing our pontoon behind our 2014 Tacoma. Store nicely in the compartment under the rear seat.
Excellent product. Easy to put on. Took them off, put them in my camper storage. Next trip out, when I put them on, I did not even need to adjust them! The mirrors are slight contour and slight magnification, which makes them easy to see. There is virtually NO vibration during travel. (I have had others that shimmied so bad you could not see a thing.) I flip my driver side mirror in frequently to check my mail box, so it is not very stiff. So I ran a small bungee from the clamp to the grill under my hood. Did this for both sides. My driver side flipped in when traveling at interstate speeds, so I put a second bungee on it. Fixed the problem. Allen bolts at top of clamp are rusting after 2nd use. All in all though, I am very pleased with this product and it is well worth the money spent. It is the only product I could find to properly fit my 2011 Toyota Tacoma, because it clamps on the mirror frame and does not rest on my truck mirrors. Great Product!

CIPA Universal Fit Dual-View Towing Mirror - Clip-On
Pros: Very easy to install. Will fit on almost anything. Cons: Bit of a challenge to adjust the in/out tilt on fixed mirror housings. Would like a little more height, but it's OK. This is a good solution for the casual user like me. Installation is painless. If you need more control over height or tilt, this is not for you.
I bought the trailer mirrors for my Jeep Grand Cherokee to pull my pull behind trailer. See pictures. The mirrors attach easily and securely and shake very little when driving. I need them mostly when backing up and I can see where the trailer tires are going. The mirrors do not adjust easily but when you do they stay in place. What I especially like is the size of the mirrors and having two independent mirrors.

The good: inexpensive; decent quality materials The bad: doesn't hold it position very well during extensive or high speed travel - you have to readjust at nearly every stop for gas on a trip. Conclusion: It is worth the money due to its fair price.
Purchased a pair for our 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee towing a nuCamp 400 from FL to AK and back. Three months and around 16k miles. Pros - other than an adjustment the second day, I never had to adjust the tension straps again. They were easy to mount and did not interfere with our mirrors folding inward. They weathered three months on the road without issue though I was beginning to worry about the straps becoming brittle. I noticed this once I removed them. Had I kept them, I would have used some silicon to rejuvenate the rubber. Cons - the only con is they shake. They shake to the point that sometimes I couldn't distinguish what exactly was behind me. I knew there was a vehicle, but the distortion from the vibration prohibited me from getting a clear view of exactly what was behind us. Impressions - they worked for our trip but I knew I would want something else for our next long trip, so we invested in a Furrion Reviewing Camera.

The company was fast and gave lots of updates for shipping. Once i received product my concerns were met. The straps are BARELY long enough to connect around my mirror. Once it is straped properly the tension on straps pulls them right out of the retaining clip. I ordered these because i have a 11 silverado just like what was in the product pictures. Save your money and get something else because theres no way these will make it down the highway they will barely stay on just sitting here. Kinda disappointed because i bout these for our first camping trip this weekend but these will not work. Seems like a good company just crappy product.
So-so construction and design. With one modification they're more than acceptable. The arms and straps will slip and loosen if installed on triangular or tapered housings. Mirrors that have backs nearly parallel to the mirror face, and have upper and lower mirror edges that are nearly parallel are not affected. Adding a peel and stick plastic wall hanger to a tapered housing will stop the strap from slipping and loosening. The ball and socket mount is good and tight, but the stud on the ball is loose in the arm. I think most of the jitter and vibration others report is from this sloppy clearance that the stud screw can't tighten enough. I'll be addressing that as well. A nice option for those of us that a) don't tow a majority of the time and don't want full time extended mirrors, and/or b) tow with multiple vehicles and prefer to have adjustability to fit our 'fleet'.

CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors - Slip On - Driver Side and Passenger Side
They are fine for the price but hard to adjust the mirror itself after installation. I’ll be installing the bigger factory trailer mirrors pretty soon.
They appear to be as advertised, well made and should be easy to install. That may change once the rain stops and I am able to actually install them and then use them during the towing operation of our trailer. But i feel pretty confident they will be very helpful.

CIPA Universal Towing Mirrors - Clamp On - Qty 2
So far, so good. I received the CIPA mirrors today and immediately installed them. Installation instructions are straight forward. I took a test drive of about 15 miles; there was no noticeable shake or rattle and the mounts did not loosen. As with factory curbside mirrors, objects are closer than they appear with the CIPA mirrors, too. Our first trip towing is a couple weeks from now. I will update my review after the trip.
The view is excellent. The mirrors do not vibrate. In speeds over 50mph, the tube would turn inside the clamps and the mirrors would turn upward, making them useless. Solution: I cut off a finger from a nitrile rubber glove and pushed it over the tube. Now the mirrors stay put.

Longview Custom Towing Mirrors - Slip On - Driver and Passenger Side
Delivery was quick. The mirrors slipped on with ease and fit well over the existing mirrors and looked almost factory attached. Then came the task for securing the attachments to the vehicle. While the concept is easy someone forgot to check deminsions of the parts and were to short to work on my vehicle. I contacted etrailer by chat and asked if there were alternatives for securing the mirrors and unfortunately there weren't any. Then came my decision to use heavy duty electrical looped through the hole the sent hardware was to be inserted through. Unless you look closely they are not easily seen. When I want to remove the mirrors I simply snip the cable tie on each mirror and ues new ones the next time I need to use the mirrors. While my "fix" works they only 3 star because to the attachment hardware.
The extensions fit the mirror but the hardware to hold them on won’t work. I’ll have to make hardware for them to work properly.

CIPA Custom Towing Mirror - Slip On - Driver Side
They are very easy to install and remove when parked for extended periods. Costumer service was very helpful with getting me the correct marrows.
Great product! I use them on all my trailers as well as my travel trailer. This is actually me second set...the first got destroyed by a hit n run and i could not live without them!

CIPA Custom Towing Mirror - Slip On - Passenger Side
I received 2 orders now from Etrailer, one I did online and one soeaking with their agent and both arrived fast and as ordered! Great job very satisfied with product as well! Thank you!
Rather on the high side on cost but they are easy it install and remove. Field of vision is not what it could be but better than the mirrors on the truck.

K-Source Universal Towing Mirrors - Clip On - Flat Mirror - Qty 2
I went right away to try them on my truck. I have a 24 Denali ultimate 1500 Denali and I have a couple of cameras on my side mirrors. The straps are easy to maneuver around the cameras to avoid issues there. Good snug fit I have not taken it out yet to test these in real road conditions but so far so good.
Worked well and as expected. Still can't see as far behind the camper as I would like on the passenger side. Strap them on tight. They shook very litte but some, not enough to be bothersome. Later,I did find them less expensive elsewhere, oh well. Straping them on is tricky to not cover the cameras underneath the truck mirrors. Truthfully I use the camera on the back of the camper along with these mirrors and get additional views from the Chevy cameras as well. I'm not a truck driver and only pull the camper on occasion so I need all the "eyes" I can get especially driving through Nashville and Atlanta.

Unable to tighten mirror clamps enough to eliminate mirror from shaking, preventing clear image while driving.
The mirrors were just what I needed and work well on my Toyota highlander.

CIPA Custom Towing Mirror - Slip On - Driver Side
The mirrors help me tow our Lance trailer safely. The adjustable mirrors benefited with a touch of dry lubricant on the joint inside the housing. Emily at etrailer was very helpful!
First set had a factory defect. The hole for the tension knob was not threaded. Replacement sent was also a defect, the mirror panel swivel was un-adjustable. Spend the extra money and get the correct OEM ones for your vehicle.

These mirrors helped tremendously when towing my Micro Minnie travel trailer versus stock mirrors on my GMC SIERRA 1500. The extended mirrors enabled to better determine when it was safe to move back into my lane after passing a vehicle and allowed me to see better the vehicles behind trailer. Although there was an occasional slight vibration in the passenger side mirror, it did not disrupt the usability of the mirrors. The towing mirrors took only a minute or two to install and fit perfectly on the stock mirrors. Adjusting them properly takes a little more time and is easier when a second person helps. I am extremely pleased with this purchase!
The mirrors were extremely easy and the fit is perfect. These look almost like a factory option installation. All lamp and cameras are exposed and not blocked. The individual mirrors are easily adjustable. Great product! Very pleased.

CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors - Slip On - Driver Side and Passenger Side
This product fits exactly as described. The staff at e-trailer are extra helpful. Just call them for assistance!
Hole for hand-screw was not completely drilled out and the threads tapped completely through. Screw started properly and turned easily for the first few turns, then it got very hard to turn before contacting the wedge. Screw had to be removed and hole chased out with a 3/8" tap before it could be used. Poor quality control during manufacture!

Just installed them and tried. It would be great if they did not vibrate that much; unfortunately they do; so we will have to find a way to improve it.
easy to use. works well.
Installation Guide for the CIPA Universal Towing Mirror on a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox
Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2020 Chevrolet Equinox we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the CIPA Universal Fit Towing Mirror, which is also sold as a set. A towing mirror is really going to expand our field of view. That can be especially useful whenever we're making a lane change, backing up into a tight parking spot, or just wanting to keep a closer eye on what's going on behind us. So to give you an example, as you can see, I'm visible in our towing mirror, but not in our factory mirror. But if I take a few steps closer to our trailer, I'll disappear out of that towing mirror and become visible in the factory mirror.
Setting up the CIPA Universal Fit Towing Mirror on your 2020 Chevrolet Equinox
Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer.Today on our 2020 Chevrolet Equinox, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the SEPA universal fit towing mirror, which is also sold as a set.Towing mirror really going to expand our field of view. That can be especially useful whenever making a lane change, backing up into a tight parking spot, or just wanting to keep a closer eye on what's going on behind us.So to give you an example, how much more ground we're going to be able to cover, as you can see, I'm visible and they're telling me, but not our factory mirror. Now, if I take a few steps closer to our trailer, I'll disappear out of that towing mirror and become visible in our factory mirror.that's also really going to help to eliminate any blind spots as well. One of the biggest questions we get in regards to universal fit towing mirrors is if you're going to have any vibration or noise, especially at higher speeds.Well, this one does clamped to the factory mirror and it really is solid. If I kind of move it around, you can see it's just moving with the factory mirror. So I really don't see that causing an issue for you.And since our towing mirror is going to extend the overall width of our Equinox, sometimes it may be a little tricky to pull into tight spots. As you need to free up some space, you still are able to completely fold the mirror in the Toe of your lens in this position. There's a little contact, but if you just rotate it, it'll give you that extra enter so that you might need. And even with the towing mirror in place, we're still able to maintain all of our adjustability with our factory mirror. That's really good to come in handy. That way you don't have to sacrifice any visibility.Towing mirror itself is also completely adjustable. You're going to be able to adjust it up and down side to side, pretty much any which way you want. You can even rotate it a full 360 degrees. So you shouldn't have any problems finding a position that works best for you.And since this tow mirror is universal, chances are pretty good.If you happen to have another vehicle in the household, it'll probably work with that too.And if you want to switch them around, it's really not too big of a headache because how easy this is to put on and take off.Speaking of which let's go ahead and pull it all together now.So the way we get our mirror on is these two knobs, which you're going to do is loosen them up.And that's going to create a bigger gap in between these two pieces here.So once you have that created, it will just simply slide that onto the factory mirror, kind of hold it in place and then just evenly turn the knobs to clamp it down.Once you have it nice and snowing. If you picked up a set, you simply just repeat this process over on the other side. And that'll finish up our look at and our installation of the SEPA universal fit towing mirror on our 2020 Chevrolet Equinox.

This is going to be great for when we're passing vehicles or trying to park. Now, with this Dual View Mirror, if I step out even further to the side we're still going to have even more of a view, and this is great for safety reasons whenever you're parking or trying to pass vehicles. Today in our 2012 Chevrolet Equinox we'll be doing an installation of a CIPA Clip-on Towing Mirror, part number 7070. If you wanna execute a maneuver when you're towing a trailer, you have to watch out for the extra distance of your trailer. If you wanna change lanes, if I step over here you can't see me in the factory mirror anymore, but now you can see me in the towing mirror. We also have our individual adjustment to the side, up, down. We can rotate it however we need to get the field of vision that we want, and a field of vision that we need. Now, a nice thing about this mirror is we can still adjust our factory power mirror without a problem, because it doesn't mount over the glass, it just mounts around the glass and to the side of it. The glass here is on unaffected.

This will prevent you from sideswiping something with your trailer when you're changing lanes. Now, our mirror is fully adjustable. We can go up, down, side to side, whichever direction we need to go in order to get the vision that we need and the vision that we want to see our trailer.
