It's a hunk of powder coated steel so there is not much to say. The bolts appeared hardened and combined with a good winch this thing suffered no permanent deformation after pulling a 7000lb truck out of mud, on slopes, at least six times.

We chose this particular guard because we like the design over other brands for the Tahoe application. This is a 2020 Tahoe Premier RST. Grill guards are popular here in rural Texas even on cars and SUVS because they are known to at least sometimes help minimize vehicle damage during highway impacts. Turkey buzzards, hawks, feral pigs and deer are a constant presence on our rural public roads. We like the way it fits and the tubing is even heavier than the Ranch Hand on our farm trucks. We are very happy with this product.

Today on our 2012 Chevrolet-Colorado, we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Aries black grille guard, part number AA4080. Also available in polished stainless steel, part number AA4080-2. Here's what this grille guard is going to look like once it's installed on the vehicle. As you can see, it's going to give us a nice heavy duty clean look to the front of the truck. It's made of a heavy duty carbon steel construction with 1-1/2 inch tubing.
