Rhino-Rack SX Series Legs for Vortex Aero Crossbars - Flush Factory Side Rails - Qty 4
This is the product that was recommended on etrailer as a fit for my BMW X-5, but when doing a search on the SKU I ordered, there’s a message that the product is not a fit. But actually it seemed to fit fine. I think it looks great. I’m concerned it moves a bit on the rail although I have it as tight as I can get it. Hopefully it will be fine. Furthermore, the directions that come with the product really suck. Not that it’s hard to attach, I used the video on the website to get an overview. I was disappointed that the top rubber insert was inside the bar and that information was not made obvious. I learned that by watching another video on YouTube after I ordered them from Rhino. Nonetheless, I’m happy with the purchase. It looks great on my X5 and was more reasonably priced versus the Thule.
This rack was recommended as an alternative to a more expensive brand. I have used this twice with a luggage pod for 500+ mile destinations. I am very happy to report that I am more than happy with the quality/durability of the product, and the ease of installation/use. Also, it is very quiet. Highly recommend this product. I purchased the locking endcaps as well.

Easy to install, high enough to easily access tent mount hardware and holding up great so far. Free delivery that showed up in 3 days!!! Can't beat it. The crossbars with the Control Towers and LandingPad 9 fit perfectly on my Honda Element. Had them installed in about 30 mins. Don't have my cargo box yet and wanted to test strength, so I had my 110lb wife standing on them with no issues (yes, the car was parked). Plan to take a long camping trip next week with a cargo box on top...wife will be in the vehicle:-)

I put 3 stars because its a useful functional non-harmful roof rack solution for my WRX sedan. This review lost 2 stars because the rubber top pieces get damaged upon any accessory removal or install like(bike, snowboard rails etc). Additionally, these accessories also look to be weathering quickly because of build quality. Hopefully this helps your decision! Thanks

Thule AeroBlade Edge Roof Rack - Fixed Mounting Points/Flush, Factory Side Rails - Aluminum - Silver
etrailer provided great shipment/notification support. Little more than trivial to install Thule AeroBlade onto 2021 Mazda CX-9, but etrailer was great resource for how-to videos that were key to successful install. Quality materials and convenient design. No significant noise noticeable from wind resistance when driving.
Had to have them installed professionally for my type of car. Just what i needed. Ford transit connect. Long wheel base.

I had to warranty the bars because the rubber strips that seal the attachment channel would not stay attached. Blew off on the highway. Poor design. Thule warranty is awesome, They sent me 2 new sets. Still wouldnt attach securely. Thule sent me a new set of bars. I already bought some square bars. I dont even want to use the wing bars. I want aerodynamic profile not the rubber strips.
So far its the best roof rack you can get today! Had no issues when driving through rugged and bumpy terrains all day.

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 BMW X5, we're gonna be doing a test fit on the Thule aero blade edge roof rack system. We're gonna be using part numbers TH7603-TH7603 for the aluminum silver cross bars. You can also get those in black with part number TH7603B-TH7603B. Now we'll also be using the roof rack fit kit, and that's gonna be part number THKIT4023.This Thule roof rack system's gonna allow you to carry roof mounted accessories on your BMW X5, things like bike racks, cargo carriers, cargo boxes, and more. The cross bars offer about 37 1/2 inches of usable space and they have the aero blade edge design. What that means is the cross bars are aerodynamic.
Thule AeroBlade Crossroad Roof Rack Installation - 2013 BMW X5
Today on our 2013 BMW X5 we'll be test fitting the Thule Rapid Crossroads Roof Rack System, part numbers tharb53 and th450r. We'll begin our test fit by placing the front load bar onto the front of our roof. We'll then need to measure from a fixed point on our raised side rails. There's a grooved line here on the raised side rails where we will measure to the first part of our foot.We'll measure this on both the passenger and driver's side of the vehicle to ensure the front load bar is perpendicular to the raised side rails of our X5. We'll then need to measure the overhang of each side of the AeroBlade. We'll do this to ensure the AeroBlade is even on both sides.Once we've established this position and our AeroBlade is even we'll pop off the end caps to bring the rubber-coated steel straps around the underside of the raised side rails.

Thule AeroBlade Edge Roof Rack Installation - 2008 BMW X5
Today on our 2008 BMW X5 we'll be test fitting the Thule Aeroblade Edge Roof Rack for raised factory side rails, part number th7503-th7503. With our roof rack system assembled according to the instructions, we'll begin by taking our front load bar and place it on to the front part of our side rails. Once we have the bar situated, we can remove the black plastic cover from both sides of the top of the carrier. You'll notice that on each end of the strap are two different kinds of slots. One end is numbered one through four. This goes around the underside of your side rail fitting back into the foot of your carrier.
