Perfect fit for my Coachmen Clipper 17BHS slide out. Install was easy with the etrailer install video! They cover every step in the video and explain assembly better than the supplied instructions. Works great at keeping out the leaves, hoping it works to help keep water out of the slide out seams too.

It wasn't hard to install, you definitely need two people. Prior to installation of the fabric into keder channel, I was able to rotate the gutter spout up and away from the keder channel instead of cutting it off like the installation video showed. I then resealed the gutter into place. Looks great! and so far it is working great!.

The ultrasonic weld let go on this slide topper within 3 months. Lippert did replace the fabric under warranty but it took over a month for it to finally arrive. Within 2 months of this a second slide topper had its seam come apart as well. Lippert replaced it as well and within a week this time. Of the 3 slide toppers I ordered 2 had the same problem with the fabric within 6 months.

These slide toppers are very good quality and very easy to install. The directions for installing them are also very good, and if you aren't sure about something etrailer offers several videos that explain the steps involved. If you are installing one of this size, you will definitely need 2 people to hang the awning itself. All of the other parts go on quite easily. Using a cordless drill also makes the job easier.

Paul provided immediate high quality guidance on replacing a bedroom slide that was destroyed in a storm. I appreciate his quality knowledge and communication. The item I need was out of stock and would not be available for two weeks. I received an email from hom that the item was shipped far earlier than anticipated. Service was great, it did have all the attaching parts. Both ends of the round shipping tube had caps as well as tape. All the components were in good condition and packed well. Received in a very timely manner.

A friend and I installed this topper today on a Winnebago 2101DS travel trailer. It took a little over one hour and we didn't run into any real problems. One thing the instructions said to do was to mount the hex aluminum bar in the end bracket using a self tapping 1/4-20 screw. Seemed almost impossible to do so I used a 1/4-20 tap. Worked fine. Once the slide topper is squared away and goes in and out properly the paper instructions want you to install a black self tapping screw in the fabric slot within 1" of the end of the fabric. I didn't like the idea of running the screw through the fabric. I had some black tubing from another project which I used for the block to keep the slide fabric from moving. The topper seems to be high quality and certainly will provide additional protection from the elements. This is definitely a two man job and my friend was great help. When we were sliding the fabric into the slide topper rail we found the best way was for me to be on the roof supporting the topper while my friend guided the fabric into the rail slot.

An "add-on" that is absolutely necessary -- this "slide topper" shields the top of the slide from grit, grime, trash, dust & potential mold so that it isn't pulled back into the RV each time the slide is retracted. Frankly, the written instructions leave much to be desired, but thanks to the etrailer videos a reasonably able DIY'ER can install (...can't over emphasize that watching and memorizing the videos is a must, however!). An excellent product that seems to wear well while providing "necessary" protection.

I like the awning because it was very easy to install and easy to operate. I installed in an hour using several neighbors to help lift it into place. The wiring was straightforward. I did have an issue because I had to mount it next to a window frame but by making a few shims out of aluminum stock at the fastening points everything looks and works great. After several days at the beach it was never adversely affected by the wind, and I could easily move it as the sun moved and it kept me in the shade.

Unbelievably great product. We are now the talk of the campground. Neighbors helped us install our new electric awning the foot and a half more for no drip on our concrete pad. We are so pleased. What a great product. Installation took two hours.

The service I received from etrailer was excellent. After I discovered my order was short on parts I contacted them and within a day the merchandise was delivered to me. I can't say enough about their customer service and support.

So far, this awning is going on the trailer fine. Everything shipped and I am installing it this week. Working through the wiring and got everything working including the switches that are in the trailer already. The SmartArm controller is awesome. I am glad I opted for the wind sensor also, we almost lost an awning a couple of years ago when a storm blew in as we were coming back to the campground. I was holding on to the awning and the wind picked me up like I was in a parachute. We thankfully got it rolled in before any damage was done, but many campers lost their awnings that day. I'll update once I get everything installed and working.

Love the way water pours off when it rains without having to do anything but make sure you are not in the dump zone. A little disappointed that extension and retraction are not a little quicker. Have tried all settings but so far the auto wind retraction has not worked. Maybe I'm not letting the awning flop enough but I think when the awning is popping and the camper is rocking it's time to roll it in. All that said it sure beats my old manual awning.

I just finished installing the Solera Power Awning. I was impressed with the durability and engineering of this awning. I did have to make some modifications (shims added to the vertical supports), but that was due to the critical length of the awning, and where it was placed on the motorhome. I also custom painted the vertical supports to match the motorhome. I did deviate from the suggested installation. After installing the top rails, I mounted the right vertical support first, then slid in the awning roller. I then held up the left side of the roller with a ladder, and installed the left support. As a result, we only needed two people instead of three. I think it would have been more difficult to try to slide the whole unit (left/right supports and roller) into the rails as one unit. The reason being is that this unit (as a whole) has some weight, and would be a bit unwieldy! I am very satisfied with the final product and how it operates, and we are very much looking forward to hitting the road and trying it out!

The slide topper was straightforward to install and has been working perfectly. We hardly even think about it! The real story here is etrailer’s customer support. When initially purchased, a longer topper was actually shipped to us but I didn’t even take it out of the box for months- so I did not catch the error for quite some time. When I finally went to install, I realized the error and contacted etrailer. They absolutely went *above and beyond* , despite the length of time that had passed, and helped facilitate every aspect of returning the first unit. They shipped the replacement to rendezvous with us as we had started to travel. I cannot say enough good things about how well they took care of us.

Great awning for the slideout on my Forest River Gray Wolf. I wanted to protect the top of the slide out since we go to an area that has a lot of pines trees. It did a great job all season and kept the top protected. I'd go up and clean it every month or so but otherwise very little maintenance. Thanks to etrailer for a great deal and easy installation videos. I'd suggest having someone help; I didn't and it was challenging at time. Otherwise great product and experience!

Don't have to be concerned anymore about bringing debris inside our trailer when we are going home. Also feel that the slide will have fewer problems related to the sun taking its toll on the slide surface.

Very happy with the two slide awnings. Installation was straight forward and they seem to function just fine. I bought them to protect the slides and as a convenience so I would not have to climb up to clear leaves and other debris before bringing the slides in. Good investment.

Delivery went well, slight damage to tube, contents were fine. Install was pretty simple, following video from etrailer. Very pleased with quality of topper n look of it on our Camper which is a 2021 Keystone Passport. I've ordered a few things from etrailer n haven't ever had an issue.

I am not sure whose fault it was, but it took about 3 months for my order to be completed. It was backordered initially, which is fine, but somehow shipped two weeks early. I get ready to install and realize the awning rail, and half of the screws are missing. It appeared to be an open box item, or maybe items taken, and sent to another customer. Customer service was great, (through the whole process, keeping me informed) and they requested the missing parts, which were also back ordered. Two months later, the parts become available and they ship me another slide topper, with the awning rail, but missing all of the screws again!!!! This required another order to be placed for the screws, which took almost two weeks to arrive. I then needed to return the extra awning with the freight company, which was aggravating because they kept canceling/rescheduling dates. Finally got it all installed which took about an hour. The slide topper looks great now that it’s finally installed!

Received this 7' Lippert Solera Slide-Topper very quickly from etrailer. It came in a very strong tube with no shipping damage. My room measured 74" which was right on the border between a 6 1/2 and 7 Foot Topper. I went with the 7 foot and am happy with the additional coverage. I put it on by myself in about an hour and everything needed was included. This is a great improvement to our trailer.

Definitely watch the video on installation for some good pointers. A friend helped me install this, it took us a couple of hours but we took our time and wanted to make sure everything was sealed and done right. Great Saturday afternoon project though! I installed it on a 2018 KZ Escape 18' trailer for the dinette slide.

The screws that came with the awning were worthless!! They broke off and were a pain to work with. I had to get my own metal screws to put it on. It’s ridiculous that they use these low quality screws!!! Everything else was great and it works perfectly. The metal screws is why it didn’t receive a 5

I like the awning, but installation on my Lance 950S was not a slam dunk. I was required to do quite a bit of re-engineering to find a solid mounting location that assured I had the right slope and clearances.

This was just as the web page described. The size, fit was very good and it was easy to install. The video provided good install process. My slider is 82.5" I added 5" to it making it 87.5" divided that by 12" and ordered the 7' 6" topper. The material of the topper measured 7' 1/4" just as I was told by the sales rep. I am very happy with this topper.

I would like to leave a positive review (5 stars) for the Solera Slide Toppers that I bought from Etrailer. I bought the 12.5" and 8" both white with white hardware. I was trying to find where to leave the review on the web site but was unable to do so.. I have to say, they were very easy to install. Anyone who can use a hand drill and a caulk gun can install these. I put them on in only a few short hours and they turned out very nice. I posted it to a page on FB and got over 121 thumbs up and around 60 positive comments. Folks were telling me that my post was inspirational enough to them that they wanted to add these toppers to their RV. Thanks for the great product and for the price match that you guys guarantee!! The awning went on the trailer with very little trouble, but other reviews that mention terrible instructions are correct. I have a slide that is 91" wide and recieved an awning that is 96" wide, it was the perfect width and mounted right up to my trailer just fine. Thankfully Forest River had prepped the trailer for an awning and it made installation that much easier and faster. Awning worked fine on the first trip out. Rating it 4 Stars because of the terrible instructions. Everything else is good so far.

Very flimsy. I have to stick floats under it to keep it tight in the middle or it will hold water. The shorter ones I've installed in the past did not have this issue. This also seems to be a known issue after doing some research.

After a year the product I purchased and installed has been wonderful. As you can see from the picture(s) it is still in great shape and protects our camper slide. Topper was easy to install for a DYI and the assistance of video on installation prep and advice from etrailer was the ticket to successfully completing the job with no trouble. Topper material is quality material and hardware was very good. Love the results and no issues with anything falling on the top of my slide increasing the risk of damage to slide and or seals.

The addition of this awning has been awesome. The install was easy and the operation has been great. We put it on an Old Church bus we turned into the Hogwarts Express. Take it camping, NASCAR Races and watching Meteor showers.

Everyone I talked to was easy to understand and extremely pleasant, which is unusual these days, sadly. Even though the item was damaged in shipping, and no fault of etrailer, they made everything right in a very timely manner, I couldn’t have asked for better customer service. Great people and great company
