Tekonsha Custom Wiring Adapter for Trailer Brake Controllers - Dual Plug In
Just installed this item on my 2016 Jeep Cherokee Latitude 4x4. I have the original Tekonsha Prodigy brake controller. First off, that factory plug: After you take the single screw off the panel above the driver's left foot, the is still a two inch plastic "finger" in a metal bracket still holding the panel up. Pull the panel toward you and bow the middle down to free the "finger." Also, the factory plug was not just dangling on my Cherokee as some on-line pictures seem to show. It’s in a soft plastic "keeper," so I did not recognize it right away. It is easy to pry out of the keeper with a small screwdriver. There is not much room on the right side of the steering wheel by the driver's knees, plus there is a knee air bag there you do not want to impede. So, I installed my controller (with the pocket mount attached) in the utility bin on the left side, above the hood release. The utility bin pops out and it's easy to fish the plug up to the opening created. I cut a hole in the back of the utility bin for the plug to go through, then popped the bin back in place. Put the plug through the empty pocket mount and plugged it into the controller. I snapped the controller into the pocket mount, then set that assemblage into the bin. It fits nice and snug side-to-side. I drilled two small holes near the rubber bumpers at the top of the bin opening and used a small bungee cord to hold the bin up against the controller, hooking the bungee ends into the holes. This keeps the brake controller secure. I still have plenty of knee clearance getting in and out and can easily see and reach the controller. If I remove the controller during the off-season, the utility bin will close fully with the controller plug inside. Another option is to remove the utility bin altogether and improvise a controller mount in the cavity created. That would work for other controllers and take up even less knee room.
The pictures and videos on your site gave me the confidence to try this myself. I even improved upon the install showed on the website. The install took me less than 15 minutes, and by removing the small pocket " drawer" in the dash, a very low profile and smooth look was retained. My local post office was undermanned and late with the product and customer service was excellent in helping me track it down. I saved over $160 compared to what local retail establishments were quoting me... excellent job all around. Thanks for exceeding all of my expectations.

Replacement Hardware Kit for Trailer Hitches
Quality bolt kit for part no.13172 but unfortunately it did not include the flange nuts. Ended up going to a local hardware store and finding what I needed to complete the hitch assembly.

Does not actually hold the connector firmly. You have to put your finger behind the connector when hooking up the tailer lights to prevent the connector from pushing back through the bracket

Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles
Forgot this when I ordered my tow bar and parts. Arrived in just a few days. Easy install. Suggestion for Roadmaster - need to provide terminal covers. Made my own using some vacuum hose caps and rubber tubing.
I ordered all the parts required to safely flat tow out 2017 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk from etrailer.com. The only part they didn't have was the Mopar Flat Tow Enhancement kit Jeep requires to flat tow this model. Ordering from them was great, the website is easy to use and I was able to locate all the pieces compatible with my specific vehicle. The expert recommendations help my decision choosing the right parts. I ordered from etrailer even though I found some of the parts on other websites a little cheaper. I chose to pay a little more because of all the effort etrailer has put into installation videos and guides. I was very pleasantly surprised to learn from etrailer that they have a price match guarantee! So my equipment consisted of the following Mopar Flat Tow Enhancement Kit (from Jeep) Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles Mighty Cord 7-Way RV Style Trailer Connector - Trailer End WesBarg 7-Way, RV-Style Connector w/ 6' Long Coiled Cable Trailer End Pollak Black Plastic, 7-Pole, RV Blade-Style Trailer Socket - Vehicle End Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles Blue Ox Alpha Tow Bar - Motor Home Mount - 6,500 lbs Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms Blue Ox Tow Bar Cover - Aladdin, Aventa LX, Aventa II The installation videos are great but not all inclusive. Take the time to read the instructions that come with the parts. This is a major project, I took about 30 hrs over a full week but as you'll see in the pictures I took s few extra steps to make a cleaner look. Some of those extra steps: The base plate install requires the bumper be modified cutting off a flange on each side, I spray painted this to prevent corrosion. In the install video of the baseplate on the drivers side they use an extra quick link (not included) to run the safety cable around the wiper fluid reservoir. I took the time to remove it and run the safety cable behind it. I didn't want our nice new vehicle to look like it can be towed so I played the brake away switch and 7 way trailer plug behind the license plate, so when not being towed our vehicle looks great! Some things to be aware of. The Brake air cylinder that mounts to the brake pedal with four bolts may need longer bolts, it did on our Jeep. Spend the money for weather tight heat shrink crimp fittings. The Hopkins wire harness was about 1.5 feet short to get to my plug location. Buy extra zip ties, electrical tape and split loom. I recommend reading all the various installation manuals and watching all the videos because the various components integrate together and if you install one at a time you'll be doing a bunch of extra work. The brake light relay is a real pain in the butt, not because of the hardware but because of the location of the brake light switch which is very hard to get to. Overall I am very happy with the products and how the installation looks. We haven't towed it yet but do not expect any problems.

Dielectric Grease for Electrical Connectors, 2 oz.
Connector bundle easy to install & worked great. Although the instructions say to feed the bed connector from the bottom it seemed easier to feed the bumper connectors from the upper the bed connector hole
Does what it needs to do for trailer plug connections.

Roadmaster BrakeMaster Custom Seat Adapter
I tried two months ago complaining about the rust on my new system after one year of ownership and I live in a dry climate and I purchased the jacket (which I use) was quickly emailed by Clayton O of etrailer asking for pictures. I sent Clayton O numerous pictures. I have emailed etrailer Clayton O since then (due to no reply) and he says nothing. I’ve spent my hard earned money occasionally at etrailer when the need arises. One time I have disappointment, they appear to reach out, then nothing, thanks to Clayton O.

Blue Ox 7-Wire to 6-Wire, Coiled Electrical Cord
I have to start by confessing that I pulled a real dumb mistake, not taking the cord out of my RV and then not securing it when I drove for 30 miles. The small end dragged for most of that and you can see the result. Amazingly it still worked and I secured it with electrical tape for the final leg of my journey. Then I started looking at repair for the damaged end. NOTHING could compare to how the original is made. A repair would not be watertight, had the potential for crimping or wearing of the wires at the end of the new female plug, and cheaper imitations are made from lighter wire and are not watertight. I ultimately decided to buy another Blue Ox connector and will repair the old one to have as a spare. There is no substitute for the quality of this item. Bonus was that it delivered from etrailer 2 days sooner than expected!

Swagman Bike Frame Adapter Bar - Small - 22-1/2" - 30" - 35 lbs
Great Bike rack. I've used it now for two months both on my truck and the 5th wheel. Very sturdy and safe. Easy to assemble, hook up and load. One small glitch; my 5th wheel has a window in back and the handlebar came close to the window causing concern of window damage, but my wife found a piece of round foam that works great to help this. (see pic) Glad I researched and got this one. Frame adapter bar works simply for step-through bike too.
This bar works great. Use it on the Townie Electra while on the Swagman Dispatch bike rack behind the camper.

Roadmaster EZ Base Plate 1-1/2" Receiver Covers - Qty 2
These caps are perfect for our Roadmaster baseplate on our Jeep Cherokee. They stay in and keep dirt and grit out and most importantly are not difficult to get out when attaching the arms to tow the Jeep. Highly recommend for anyone with a Roadmaster baseplate.
Gives the new Jeep and towing system a nice finished look and keeps the receivers clean.

Roadmaster Tow Defender Protective Screen for Tow Bars with Quick Disconnects
One year later...We put around 10K miles on the RV throughout the year in large part in the East Canadian Atlantic provinces and Manitoba. The screen has performed well in keeping those nasty small pebbles from peppering our Jeep which was the reason we purchased this product in the first place. I am glad we made this purchase.
I would have rated it 5 stars had it not been for the problem with one of the extension rod locking latches. After about 8 months I noticed a clucking sound while turning. I determined that one of the extension rods was not locking causing the clunk. I contacted Roadmaster and they explained that the latch needed to be tighten. Once I performed the adjustment it worked as designed, however from the rod expanding and contracting it ripped the nylon Defender Protective Screen and now I have a damaged screen that will cost me $200 to replace.

Demco SBS Towed Vehicle Battery Charge Wire Kit Installation - 2021 Jeep Cherokee
Hey, everybody, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Demco battery charge line here on our 2021 Jeep Cherokee. So this particular battery charge line is gonna be for the towed vehicle. Most of your motor homes or your towing vehicles are gonna come with one, so you don't have to worry about wiring anything up on there. So essentially what this does is this is gonna be a lead that connects from the vehicle's battery here, and it's gonna be ran to the trailer connector, most likely a six-way trailer connector. Those are certainly the most common. You will need one that's gonna allow for that extra pin, so four ways are out the window, only seven and six ways.
How to Install the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles on a 2021 Jeep Cherokee
Hi there Jeep owners. Today, on your 2021 Jeep Cherokee, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install Roadmaster's charge line kit. Roadmaster's charge line kit is going to ensure that your battery on your vehicle stays topped up when you're pulling it down the road with your motorhome. This can be really useful if your vehicle that you're pulling requires the ignition to be on. There's a lot of flat tows that required the ignition, the key to stay towards the accessory or on position, or to keep the steering wheel from locking. When the key is on, you're pulling your vehicle here, you do have the potential of draining the battery down on long trips.
