Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers - Ford, Lincoln, Mercury
The Tekonsha Prodigy P3 brake controller was a much needed upgrade for my truck. I had an older basic brake controller that I used with my small camper that we had and it faired well at the time. But…with a 38’ camper that’s double the weight the Prodigy 3 is a perfect match. Towing is less stressful now with confidence in brake situations. Also the model specific harness I purchased with it made the installation quick and painless. Thank you etrailer for another great product
Easy plug and play for our 2016 Explorer Sport w/ tow package. Nice quality cable.

Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers
This product is 98% plug and play. The only issues we ran into was the supplied harness ground wire we installed to the bed frame didn't provide a ground through the truck. Most likely was the bed mounting isolators were preventing a good connection. We ran an additional ground wire from the mentioned harness ground to the mounting bolt of the 7-way connector mounted to the bumper. We also had to run a dedicated 12 volt fused power wire to the 7-way connector from the battery to operate our electric trailer jack.
plug-in wiring adapter worked , not impressed with USPS shipping

Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat - 10 Gauge Wires
I only use this kit for universal installs
The Universal installation kit #ETBC7 arrived with the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 brake controller. Everything is in great condition and is exactly what I needed. The installation instructions are straight forward and easy to understand. I can't wait to get everything installed so I can get my trailer on the road. I'll give an update after it's installed.

Curt Custom Wiring Adapter for Trailer Brake Controllers - Dual Plug In
Everything was as described. Easy easy installation in 10 minutes. Not the top of the line controller but it's all I need. Very fast shipping as well. Couldn't be more happy with etrailer. I will be purchasing my fifth through etrailer soon!
Great job came on time. Installed easily. Works great. Better still is the service from etrailer. New what I needed for my truck. Deserves repeat business

Mounting Bracket and Installation Hardware - Pollak 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector - Vehicle End
The product itself is great, but the hardware (screws, nuts, etc) is trash. Should be stainless steel. Keep in mind, it doesn't include hardware to fasten to the frame of your vehicle. I used the hardware from another kit here on etrailer. I initially ordered the incorrect bracket. I had it installed for literally one week. No snow or ice, and it looks like I dropped the thing in the ocean for a month.
Gotta have this bracket to mount your 7 pole connector to. But I had a place to attach to on my Draw-Tite hitch and didn't need the self tapping screws, HOWEVER, I needed two additional black screws to attach the connector bracket to the hitch spot. Should come with (6) black screws and two self tappers. I have to go find two additional black screws if able to attach the bracket to the hitch hangar. That's why i didn't give it five stars.

Installed this Junction Box while repairing some previously installed sketchy wiring. Having access to these wires made a ground issue we were having very easy to diagnose. Very good product.
I mounted mine onto a piece of aluminum flat stock on the trailer “A” frame to reduce rock impact from Nevada’s gravel back roads. There really wasn’t good location on inside of trailer frame rails, was adding electric brakes and converting from 4 pin to seven. . I’m pretty darn happy with this junction box as it made rewiring rather straight forward. Our local 12 volt guru at the auto electric shop was duly impressed-wanted to know where I found it.

Replacement TruXedo Shur-Bond Velcro Brand Fasteners for 6-1/2' Beds -1-5/16" Wide
Good quality product. Direct replacement for worn out original. Easy to follow instructions included. Very quick delivery.
I didn’t think they would work, but they did, the cover really sticks on my truck now, would be flopping around anymore. Very easy to install, one screw on each side, take the end cap off, slide the old one out and slide the new one in, screw the cap back on and roll the cover back on.

Dielectric Grease for Electrical Connectors, 2 oz.
Connector bundle easy to install & worked great. Although the instructions say to feed the bed connector from the bottom it seemed easier to feed the bumper connectors from the upper the bed connector hole
Does what it needs to do for trailer plug connections.

hitch installation video was helpful... bolt clearances on the passenger side above the muffler were very tight the space saver spare barely clears the hitch. The wiring harness 7 pin mounting only bolts to the plastic valance. There is no room for any other type of mounting.
Thanks for the great video on installing the 7 pin adapter (ETBC7L). The video was even on a Toyota Grand Highlander - my exact vehicle. I didn't like how low the video installed the bracket, so I made a few bends to this bracket to integrate it more into the the lower molding. This raised it up another inch or so compared to your video. You can see the height difference in the screen grabs of your install versus mine. Bottom line, you can use this bracket to fabricate for you unique situation.

Fits perfectly. Uses the existing bracket mount on the hitch (Sprinter passenger van version)
Nice piece but I am now aware that this bracket wasn't compatible with the 7-way kit I installed. I made it work by drilling more holes but be aware, not all brackets work with all 7-way plugs.

Chain adjusters were delivered on time and fit as expected.

Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Assembly - 10" - Right Hand - 3,500 lbs
Excellent. Be sure your axle bearing seals are not leaking grease onto the backing plate.
Brakes work great! I used a self tapping screw to ground the brake to the trailer. This worked really well and I didn't need to run a ground wire. The studs needed a trip to the hardware store to get some 7/16 by 40 pitch (fine thread) nylock nuts. All in all a nice brake setup.

Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Assembly - 10" - Left Hand - 3,500 lbs
Etrailer is great. I have been using them since 2014 or 2015 for various stuff. This order was for electric Dexter brakes - ten inch. Some other suppliers offer similar ones for half price but they are not as good as Etrailer. Auto-adjust (they call it Never-adjust) is very important. Also the shoes are cut nicer. One of the electromagnets failed - open circuit - first time that happened. I had 6600 miles on it. Curious failure. Recommended changeout is 12,000 miles anyhow so I am not real upset. When you're flying down a 9% grade in the Rockies you want the best brakes and the best tires. Get Etrailer. Get the largest wheel and highest load range tires that will fit your trailer from Etrailer. I considered modifying the brakes to disc. $2000 plus they are not maintenance free either. Nothing is "maintenance free". I could change out all the brakes and drums 7 times for that $.
I have a five and half year old travel trailer with electric brakes. I noticed I had a hub that was intermittently getting hot. I know a little about bearings going bad but realized it was probably the brakes getting old and hanging up. I decided based on the price of these assembled backing plates that doing this full replacement on all four with new tires was good insurance. I order the stuff carefully (including new nuts and washers) on Sunday evening. It was delivered to my house on Friday afternoon all in good order. I had already taken the wheels to the tire store for replacement and removed the hubs. Saturday morning I started working and by the end of the afternoon I had new brakes, regreased bearings, replaced seals, and mounted new tires on my trailer. I did change the bearings on the hub that was getting hot. Just new seals on the others. The information on E Trailer made it easier to order online than to purchase at a local trailer parts house.

No-Drill Mount for Electrical Mounting Bracket - Short
Good product, easy installation, manual showings step by step,
Worked out perfect for my 2024 Kia Sorento Prestige, I could not find a harness that would directly plug into the factory tow harness. My only complaint was the length of wire to plug into the passenger taillight was about six inches too short.

Glacier Tire Chain Tensioners for 16-1/2" to 19" Rims - Rubber - 1 Pair
The order came quicker than anticipated. I installed chains just before snow storm. Unfortunately the chain tensioners( said 99 LT on package, words fits all passenger and mini van was crossed out in black marker) were too small to use correctly even though it said good for 17 inch rims. One broke when I tried to install it. Rigged chains up with some tensioners I already had and the chains worked beautifully . I looked at your video online after the fact and wound up ordering the recommended TCMA2 tensioners today. Hopefully they will fit.
We ordered these tensioners with a set of Pewag square link, mud service heavy duty chains appropriately sized for our 315/75R16 tires. Those tires have a tall sidewall and so I opted for the tensioners listed for 16 to 20" wheels. However, with those chains and tall sidewalls of our tires, these tensioners lack sufficient reach to get more than three hooks attached to the chains (photo). If you're planning on using these tensioners on a tire with a tall sidewall and a chain that doesn't extend down the sidewall very far (as ours), I recommend mounting the chains and then measuring the diameter of the circle inside the side chains. Call Etrailer with that measurement and see if they can set you up with a tensioner that will fit. Our ordering experience with Etrailer was great - prompt shipping and compassionate customer service when I explained the problem mentioned above.

I was able to call and ask some questions about my item fit. item arrived fast and is what we needed thank you
The costom bracket kit is of heavy steel, powder coated for protection, from your video it is going to be a lot easier to install and save time, alot less drilling and mounting of components, I am very satisfied with this product and cannot wait to install it on my 2013 Ford f150,will be pulling a 25 foot 5th wheel camper, thanks trailer for a great product

Curt Friction Sway Control for Weight Distribution Systems
This product made a huge difference in the sway problem I had with my travel trailer. Large trucks and/or cross winds were very scary. I would not recommend towing a large trailer without sway control.
The sway control kit I ordered went on the receiver of my travel trailer easily and fits well. I tested the turn radius to see how sharp of a turn it would make without "hitting" and it performed perfectly. I haven't had the chance to take it on the road yet but don't anticipate any problems.
How Does the Brake Buddy Replacement Breakaway Kit Fit on a 2021 Ford F-150
Hey, everyone, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2021 Ford F-150, we're gonna be showing you how to install the replacement breakaway switch kit for the Brake Buddy Digital Classic supplemental braking system. But before we do that, let's just take a minute. We'll check out what's going on here and make sure it's gonna work for you. It seems like these digital classic braking systems are really well made and people are still using 'em. And so if that's a situation you find yourself in, you have your operating unit but you don't happen to have a breakaway switch, then this is where this kit is going to come into play.
DIY 2021 Ford F-150 Installation for the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Roadmaster charge line kit on a 2021 Ford F150. Adding a charge line to your F150 is a great option because the battery stays in the accessory mode and stays on while flat towing. Your braking system always uses a little bit of 12 volt power as well. So as you're going down the road that battery's gonna wanna drain and you wanna be able to trickle charge that to make sure that it doesn't die while towing, but also you won't have to jumpstart it when you get to your campsite. Having a charge line is going to accomplish that for you. It's very simple, it just ties into your six pole and that will get the 12 volt source via your umbilical from the RV run to your circuit breaker.
