Best 2021 Dodge Durango Accessories And Parts

Have a 2021 Durango SXT. Bought the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat - 10 Gauge Wires, Tekonsha POD Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 2 Axles - Time Delayed, and Replacement Brake Control Plug-In Harness for Tekonsha and Draw-Tite Brake Controller 12" Long. 7 wire was easy to install but break controller a little harder do to the vehicle I have. Previously bought tow hitch and 4 way wire trailer plug from etrailer. Very happy with all.

The installation videos and instructions provided by etrailer are exceptional and are one of the main reasons why I purchased this kit. My second reason for purchasing this kit rather than buying everything local was for the duplex wire which I could not find local unless I was willing to use outlet wiring or two single wires. There are two things I don't like about this kit and two things that just bothers me. First the duplex wire I wanted so bad is too short. I had to mount my controller on the left side of steering wheel just to have enough wiring. Second the wiring on the 7/4 way connector isn't even a foot long so I had to remove the large ring terminal carefully and install it on a piece of white white I cut from running the duplex from the back to the front and use a buck connector to join it to the white wire on the 7/4 way connector. Once I did that I was finally able to ground the connector to my frame. As well I don't like how the 4 pole connector can easily fall off the bracket. It makes the connector look cheap. Lastly, they should really include the No-Drill Mount 18140 with the kit. Thankfully I was able to use my old mount for my existing 4 pole. So if the duplex wire had been two feet longer and the kit included a better 7/4 way connector I would give this a 5 Star rating.

Purchased the wiring harness for my 2001 Dodge Durango and installed the brake controller. It was very easy, as my vehicle had a tow package installed already. Only took 20 minutes to hook up. Recommend this harness for similar suv's. Tested out perfectly. The price was better than all local sources. Trailer pic attached. Al Fox

The Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Brake Controller installed easily and works great. I did not need the Dodge Durango adapter since the previous owner had already wired it for the controller. I would highly recommend the controller.

This hitch was a piece of cake to install on my 2016 Dodge Durango. Virtually all the work is just lowering the spare (just to make more room and make it easier) then bolting it in place with the already existing bolts in the frame. If you have air powered tools it does make the job faster and easier of course but they are not necessary. I have used mine several times and there is no give or any weak looking contact. It is solid and the wiring bracket mounts right onto it.

Easy to install, fit perfectly on the accessory tab on on my Draw-Tite hitch.

Used with the Mounting Bracket (part number 18144) this made the 4 flat plug in very accessible and very sturdy while looking like a professional installation. Thank you.

hitch installation video was helpful... bolt clearances on the passenger side above the muffler were very tight the space saver spare barely clears the hitch. The wiring harness 7 pin mounting only bolts to the plastic valance. There is no room for any other type of mounting.

Buyers Beware! Lights work! But,,,, Wire is not protected by any tubing. There is only about a foot or less of tubing from the hitch plug. Only supplied 8 zip ties. I had to buy more to complete the job. If wires get damaged from rocks or debris I’ll have to start over and buy electrical tubing to protect all the wiring and buy more zip ties, but what ever. We’ll see what happens.

Very easy and quick to install on the bike. Solid, very good construction. Definitely recommend this for the type of bikes eTrailer and Thule recommend them for when using their bike racks.

I love the bar, it is super sturdy and works perfectly for all of our bikes given the compact frame. I did have my bike on the back of my car with the Thule rack I ordered, and unless it was just super windy that day traveling on the highway, I feel like my bike was swaying while on the bar even though I had the strap between the tires. I have used it since for short trips, but have figured out a way to use the extra strap to run it through the rack and the bike to prevent the bike from pulling away from the car while on the bar.

Installed this Junction Box while repairing some previously installed sketchy wiring. Having access to these wires made a ground issue we were having very easy to diagnose. Very good product.

Same bracket that came with the brake controller. Bought it as a back up in case I damage the original one.

They did just fine, I had to use zip ties which held great. Even after driving from Kansas to Vancouver Bc the lights remained in place during the entire trip, which was my concern. I still recommend proper attachment of the lights, I couldn't wait several months for the brackets to be delivered since the trip was before their delivery.

Lights work great for brake lights and turn signals on cargo basket. I had to buy a trailer wire extension because the wire harness was too short to reach the cargo basketdriver side light and the wire harness was excessively long for the passenger side light. The lights fit too loose in the mounts and easily popped out. Had to use zip ties to secure the lights

I welded it to the curt ball mount after aligning it with the ball mount. Very strong!

I bought this damper mount because it was all set and I didn't have to do anything except bolt it on to my hitch bar. It was very simple just follow the direction provided. Remove the ball then position the damper mount and reinstall the ball. The quality of the part was excellent and everything worked as expected.
