Best 2020 Toyota 4Runner Roof Racks

My Rino Rack has been great! No problems at all with it.

I use it on top of a 2016 Toyota 4Runner. A secure grab to the roof rails and good support for a 105 lb. rooftop tent. If the crossbars were square, it would be better for my particular application. But, that was my choice.

old bars were so rusted I had to cut them out. new bars fit perfect. arrived quickly and didn't break the bank. thanks yall.

Disclosure: I have not had the chance to use the product yet. This review is for Etrailer specifically and the purchase process on these products. I am new to these racks so I read an Etrailer forum on what parts to buy. Trusting their help, they recommended the Yakima landing pads, the Highline towers, and the HD bars; so I ordered. At no time did they or the computer ask me to order the metal adaptor to ATTACH the bars. Being new to the rack system, they should have been on top of this and disclosed that I would not be able to use ANY of my products till I had these tiny metal adaptors. I.E. "Have you bought the correct adaptor to mount your bars?" Anything would have helped! Now I have all three things sitting in my garage collecting dust with a pending order to another company for the tiny metal adaptors, making the delay another week and a half. This puts a sour taste in my mouth.

Thule rack looks great on my Kia Telluride. The pieces took a while to get to me because they were on backorder but it's not etrailer, they were on backorder everywhere. I messed up a piece of the rubber while installing and etrailer sent me another one free of charge. Would definitely recommend etrailer.

They fit my 4Runner great. Perfect fit. But box end was completely torn off—was taped closed with clear tape—all pieces included. Will install permanently in the morning

Bought these bars for my 4Runner and couldn't be happier. We have used these with the Yakima nerd pod several times and work great.

The only problem I had, was when I watched the video showing how to install the rack, I did not realize that the actual installation process was a lot more complex. For example, the woman who was in the video only showed the installation one rack (I believe itg was the back rack and she gave the width measurement for that one. The front rack was already on the car and the woman neglected to say, "check your manual. The width of the front rack (may be) different than the back. She also did not explain carefully that there were three different screws that needed to be adjusted for a proper fit so the towers were properly adjusted for yoiur specific car. (My car is a 2018 Chevy Volt.) (I also bought Yakima kayak cradles from you guys, which were easy to install.) However, I blame myself for not reading the manual carefully, so when I installed the racks, they did not fit right and one of them actually fell off while I was driving. (Luckily there were kayaks on and no one was hurt. The two towers were damaged but luckily the rack and the kayak cradles were fine. I called etrailers and was told I had to contact Yakima, which I did. I explained to the Yakima customer service rep that I was at fault for trusting the video and not reading the manual carefully and after asking me to send him photos of the damaged towers he sent me two new towers for free, as well as another torque wrench, so I could work with a second person. This time I read the manual carefully and watched the Yakima video many times during the a week before I felt confident enough to try installing the racks again. This time they fit perfectly. I love both the rack and the kayak cradles. I use them to transport my two kayaks down to the Hudson River near my house and have also used them to carry the kayaks to a family camping site 50 miles away, confident they are safe and secure. But please, review the video you put out for the installation of the racks onto a 2017 Chevy Volt, and either correct the shortcomings by doing it over, with an explanation about the adjustment of the widths, and also reading the manual and finding the correct positions for the adjustment screws. (Or delete it and refer your customers to the Yakima installation video. Though it’s more generic than yours, at least the tell the customer to refer to the manual.

as described. fits well. installation instructions were OK, but I had to re-fit the crossbars to install the bottom weather/wind seal strips. too hard (cold temps) so i pre fit the bars, measured and cut the strips, and slid them in from an open end - same with the tracks outside the clamps on the overhangs. total install time about 2 hours. no discernable noise from wind.

I installed these (58") on a 2018 4Runner. Great buy! These seem well made and will likely fit the bill; clamp tight, hold fast, and surprisingly quiet. Round bars ROAR at ~ 40 mph. These aren't audible until ~60 mph; simply background/road noise at 72 mph. My only concern is the endcaps. One really has to be sure to push in to get them to "click" into place and are a bit flimsy.

I ordered the Rhino-Rack Universal Pioneer Platform Rack for my Toyota 4runner 2020. This platform fits my 4runner and this size 58"x 47" leaves space above the moon-roof so I can still enjoy the outside view while driving. Moving forward, I will order some accessories for the platform as I have more experience with that.

Works great with my 2023 Toyota Sequoia and no wind noise . This was a better option then the oem trd roof rack.

Free delivery that showed up in 3 days!!! Can't beat it. The crossbars with the Control Towers and LandingPad 9 fit perfectly on my Honda Element. Had them installed in about 30 mins. Don't have my cargo box yet and wanted to test strength, so I had my 110lb wife standing on them with no issues (yes, the car was parked). Plan to take a long camping trip next week with a cargo box on top...wife will be in the vehicle:-)

The Rhino Rack HD crossbar kit for tracks fits my SyneticUSA Pro retractable cover perfectly. RR includes several track nuts of different sizes to match to your particular track. I love the quick detach capability of the towers and that they also lock for security. The HD bars are essentially the same dimension of 1 5/8" unistrut/superstrut so you can find all sorts of attachment hardware outside of what RR makes. This makes it easy to securely bolt your gear down to the cross bars and customize with easy to find hardware at your local home depot. The 65" HD bars are perfect for a mid size truck like my Tacoma.

The rack more than exceeded my expectations. It was easy to assemble and mount on the cap of my Tacoma truck. I was pleasantly surprised by the aerodynamics which virtually eliminate wind noise, even at highway speed. I pirchased the rack as a permanent mount for a 4rod flyrod holder which I use daily for fishing. The Rhino keeps everything “tight and right”. It has worked perfectly for nearly three hundred trips and over 15,000 miles this year.

Installation was easy and I haven't had any issues. I had originally ordered a wrong part, but the person I spoke with at etrailer made it very easy to correct this and get the parts I needed. The next time I need something from my truck, I'll be checking here first.

Worked great on my 2025 4-Runner. I used my old 65.5 inch Thule square bars. I fitted my old Thule hulivator on the rig and it worked great.

Great fit, fairly easy instructions, I prefer printed instructions along with the pictures. All in all I recommend this product .

The 50” jetstream cross bars were perfect for my 2019 Ford Ranger with my ARE cap. They are paired with the Yakima Skyline towers and appropriate landing pads (protip: call etrailer when you order to ensure you have the correct setup;) These cross bars are SILENT on my cap. Zero wind noise. My daughter and I installed them on a Friday (I do recommend watching etrailer’s installation video in addition to the paper instructions) and left for a 700 mile weekend road trip the next day to pick up a kayak, paddle with friends downstate then drop her off at summer camp. Even with empty Yakima Jaylows on top, no wind noise. Even with a boat in the Jaylows, no wind noise. These are the sweetest rack’s I’ve had. With the Skyline towers and landing pads, they are also easy to take off and put on. Click click done. They look good, too;) etrailer customer service for the win, too. When I originally ordered, I did not order all the items I needed for installation. When I realized this, I called and they got me squared away.

Exactly what I was looking for to mount my Thule roof box on my 2025 Subaru Outback Wilderness. This kit is truly low profile, sits perfectly on the OBW rails and is very simple to install (just follow the included printed instructions). No wind noise to report, and so far, it's holding up very well.

I bought this rack as a Christmas gift for my daughter's 2023 Subaru Outback Wilderness Wagon. It fit perfectly! It was relatively easy to install with the help of my son-in-law. It is very secure and holds her cargo box very well. After multiple highway trips between Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts it hasn't budged!

I had to warranty the bars because the rubber strips that seal the attachment channel would not stay attached. Blew off on the highway. Poor design. Thule warranty is awesome, They sent me 2 new sets. Still wouldnt attach securely. Thule sent me a new set of bars. I already bought some square bars. I dont even want to use the wing bars. I want aerodynamic profile not the rubber strips.
